Faye was so responsive to our questions! We needed a place that was fairly handicap accessible. She quickly sent me measurements and explanations of doorways so we had no surprises. S’more makings and Kcups were such a nice treat!! Highly recommend this cabin!!! Hope we can come back sometime.

This property was beautiful and incredibly clean. Hiking and shopping opportunities abound and the cabin was well-stocked with supplies. Check-in and out was very easy, as well. This is definitely a “We will be back!” destination.

The cabin is beautiful and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very functional and user friendly. It was unusually warm during our stay but the air conditioning kept us comfortable. The interior of the cabin is terrific but it is the outside that makes the cabin wonderful. The views from the wrap-around porch are absolutely spectacular. We spent most of our time at the cabin sitting on the porch, luxuriating in the scenery. Owls serenaded us each evening and fog banks in the morning made us feel as though we were drifting in the clouds. The cabin is quiet and peaceful - a great retreat!

We love this place so much we came back for a 2nd stay. This cabin is absolutely lovely. The view is spectacular! Faye is a wonderful host. This is the best stocked rental we've ever experienced. It takes no more than 5 minutes to get to the boat dock (Cookeville). It is close to Burgess Falls as well. All the bedrooms are very comfortable. We couldn't ask for anything better. It has plenty of amenities if you want to bring kids, and I think you'd have a great time. You would just want to make sure your children obey the rule to stay out of the backyard. Center Hill is a lake built in a mountainous area. When Faye says it has a steep drop off, she is not teasing. If you have mischievous children, I'd wait until they are old enough to recognize the danger. Otherwise, I think this cabin is perfect for everyone. Thanks Faye! We hope to see you again next year!

Great location, incredible view, 20 minutes from town, and very close to local dock with boat rentals. Home is lovely, host was responsive, overall a great place!

The pictures online of the beautiful view of Center Hill Lake from this property do not do it justice. We will come back again just for that view, but honestly, it was just the beginning of what this beautiful property had to offer. A wrap around deck, an upstairs with a bathroom in the bedroom, a loft room, a main floor with bathroom attached to the master, huge kitchen fully stocked with everything you could want including a gas stove, a double sided fireplace, giant kitchen table for tons of people, and downstairs had a bedroom, bathroom, Murphy bed, and a hangout space with games and a Foosball table. The Novak's leave little things that you never see anywhere else like full bottles of shampoo and conditioner, full bars of soap, a welcome bowl of s'mores fixins, Bluetooth speaker, corn-hole set, a firepit surrounded with adirondack chairs, and multiple seating areas on the deck. You can even log into the Wi-fi with a QR code which we thought was really cool! Next time we will take our boat straight to the Cookeville Boat dock (about 5 min away, yummy food till 8pm, and super friendly staff) to rent a slip during our stay because the driveway is a little long to back into. We had a blast playing on CH Lake. It's perfect for fishing, skiing, or just going for a boat ride which is what we did one day. We went all the way to Hurricane Marina about 30 min away for lunch at Blue Water Grille (highly recommend)! We can't wait to rent here again!

I most definitely picked a winner with this absolutely breath-taking cabin on the lake!! Everything about it was nothing short of spectacular.!! Traveled from Pittsburgh, PA with our adult children and spouses, for a wedding at the Monarch in Baxter and decided to rent the cabin instead of the typical hotel room! Best decision EVER!!! Spent the mornings sipping coffee with the fam (PRICELESS) on the spacious, wrap-around deck, watching and listening to the birds. Spent the evenings around the firepit, roasting marshmallows, compliments of Faye! We managed to hop over to Nashville for a fun day trip, which was an easy, less than 90-minute drive. We also managed to squeeze in a morning hike at Burgess Falls State Park while soaking up so much of nature's beauty! My family had a great time!! Thanks Faye

Nothing like coffee and prayer looking out to the Gorgeous scenery touched by God. Attention to detail was obvious throughout this home from comfort, appliances, furniture, fans/white noise, outdoor firepad, towels, shampoos, TV, Foosball, utensils, to fire starting items, and corn hole game. I'd only be concerned with small children, unattentive teenagers, regarding the backyard 'cliff", but for everyone else I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! So Beautiful, Peaceful, Restful. A Very EASY Transition to Vacation!

LakeNLogs was absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! There is really no way to describe sitting on the porch overlooking the water and landscape. The hawks come soaring by and the various birds are singing... heaven on earth. My husband and I came down for our biyearly waterfall adventure... Then later in the week his brother and wife joined us. We had fun waterfall hikes and looked forward to returning home to relax on the porch and sit by the campfire... Perfect way to end our days!! Thank you for opening your beautiful home for others to enjoy!

Four couples shared the Lakes n Logs property. The view from the wrap around deck is amazing. Coffee and happy hour with that view couldn’t be beat. There is plenty of space for gathering together or spreading out. The hosts do an amazing job of providing lots of little convenient details that make the stay better. ( not having to bring every little thing along, like kitchen essentials and soap in the bathrooms. There were many thoughtful touches, comfy beds, lots of seating options, fireplace and outdoor furniture, even s’more ingredients. We had the best time in a fabulous place!

The home was located off the beaten path, but still had easy acess to several area restaurants and day trips. Perfect for a quiet getaway, great for relaxing and playing games. Beautiful view with large wrap-around porch. Faye was great to work with!

This property is remote, but close enough to city for all your needs. Phenomenal views, Beautiful Home with 3 levels and owners thought of everything when it comes to amenities. We Loved it, can't wait to come back 😍

This is probably the best VRBO stay we have ever had. It was very clean, the views were incredible. There many well thought out extras that we did not expect. Fussball table big hit! Very tastefully decorated for Christmas. Loved out stay!

Family from California, Minnesota & Tennessee gathered together for Thanksgiving weekend. Lake n Logs was everything and more for being our dining & entertainment center. The wrap around covered porch & the great weather provided beautiful setting for outdoor dining. Fire pit & comfortable Adirondack chairs were a hit for conversation & s’mores on the concrete pad. Loved everything about Lake ‘n Logs. Owner was very attentive & even equipped kitchen with roasting pan prior to our arrival.

This was such a wonderful place. So clean, and cozy. The view was incredible. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Faye was also very responsive and made the check-in process so easy. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back some time!

The view from this cabin is totally awe inspiring, and the cabin itself was not only beautiful but so clean and comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. The host demonstrated such warm hospitality with a personal note left for me my college reunion group. We hope to stay here in future years!

I booked this for my out of town family who were attending our son’s wedding. What an awesome place. ❤️Words alone can’t describe the whole experience. You just have to experience and see this place. The view from the deck was incredible. I looked forward to waking up early to watch the sunrise and have a quiet time. Everything that you’ll need for a stress-free accommodation have been carefully thought off. It’s very clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and wonderful. The basket of s’mores supplies with a personal hand-written note card was so sweet and thoughtful. My family wants to make this our vacation home!!! LakenLogs was a beautiful place for friends from several hours away to gather and hang out with each other. The house provided more than we needed, from the cleanliness to the wrap around deck, to the kitchenware and appliances and ample space to sit and catch up. Communication with the host was a breeze, answering our questions quickly. The view was spectacular with the leaves changing color! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

This was by far the cleanest and best equipped VRBO that I have stayed at in all my years of renting. Faye has thought of everything and you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck which is well furnished with plenty of comfortable seating. The smores by the fire at night were also a highlight. The views from the house will not disappoint. You do have to be thoughtful about your food and drink because the nearest town is a drive but totally worth it!! We stopped at Mount Juliet on our way from Nashville and stocked up. Don't miss out on hiking at Burgess Falls and Window Cliffs (bring water shoes). Hope to be back again!

Great cabin with awesome view. The cabin has everything you could ever need. Beautifully decorated. We were on the decks to watch sunrise and sunsets. The Smores fixins were a nice touch.

We stayed here for a short girls getaway and it couldn't have been any better. Lots of parking and easy access. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything and more of what you could need. All the small details and elevated supplies didn't go un-noticed, but the best thing, by far was the porch and view. We spent so much time on the porch watching the birds soar, boats go by and the beautiful scenery. Perfect. We will be back!

Absolutely stunning views, relaxing atmosphere inside and out. Beautifully decorated, very well appointed. Ours was a Girl’s Trip but what a wonderful place for a family as well! 15-20 minutes into Cookeville where you find lots of restaurants and shopping. Very enjoyable stay!
