We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot of pods! Communication with the owner was very good and the check out procedure was minimal and efficient.

I needed a little getaway to relax. Since is it still blazing hot in Texas, I wanted somewhere with a pool. It did not disappoint. The neighborhood was very quiet and the pool was so relaxing. We just hung out at the house and did nothing. It was a nice escape.

We enjoyed our stay in this home cooking, swimming, eating, and fellowshipping. The home has lots of space for groups where we felt there was ample room to spread out. We would recommend the listing be updated to reflect a charcoal grill so that future guests bring charcoal to cook. Also, a large skillet is needed in the kitchen as our group enjoyed eating together for breakfast. We would recommend more towels, washcloths, and a wine opener. Overall, we had a fabulous time and enjoyed the home.

This property was perfect for our group of 3 couples. The layout of the house was great and we loved the pool and fenced in yard. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. Was a great location to visit Garrison Brothers Distillery and local wineries. Would book again.

Enjoyed the afternoons at the pool and evening meals and games at the dining room table.

The house & pool was just as described. The house was very clean & love how all the kitchen drawers were labeled with the contents. Large kitchen & bedrooms! The pool was so refreshing on a really hot summer days. Had no issues at all & lots of wineries & things to do in Johnson City. The puppies had a blast also. Lee answered all our questions before we ever got there. We will most definitely be back!!!

Perfect place for a group of friends to stay a long weekend playing games. Plenty of room and plenty of beds. The only downside was the queen bedroom on the right hand side of the hallway. The mattress seemed quite old and was difficult to get a good night's sleep in. But iveiwe would stay again!

The house was great and accommodates six adults and three children easily. The pool was perfect, kitchen is well equipped, and overall had a great three night stay.

This property was extremely organized! My husband and I have rented SEVERAL properties in so many different cities and states. I have never encountered a home as organized as this one. All the cabinets and drawers were labeled and very organized which I truly appreciated. The house is very clean and inviting. The beds were VERY comfortable and the back yard was amazing! The house is located near so many wineries, state park and great entertainment places. So many things to do in the area. The only thing I would suggest is the need for larger cooking pans for big groups. Oh and a potato peeler. Lol The house was so inviting that our group decided to stay in on Saturday. We had a hard time cooking for everyone because there was only one small pan (they did have pots). Other than that this house is amazing and on my favorites list for sure! I highly recommend this amazingly organized house!

The house was perfect for our stay in hill country! Lots of room, nice pool and hot tub, big backyard with covered seating and a fire pit. I would certainly stay there again.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for our anniversary. We decided to take an extra long weekend to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub in the hill country. The house itself is large with a great open living concept, but we paid extra for the pool to be heated and neither the pool or hot tub worked the first two nights. The property management company was good at responding to help resolve the issue, but did tell us you cannot heat both the pool and hot tub at the same time, which felt misleading given the description in the listing. Also, they told us the pool guy would be out to check on the heating issue on the morning of day two and the issue didn’t get resolved until the morning of day 3 of our stay. The issue ended up being an empty propane tank they had to refill. They offered to reimburse us for the heated pool charges and comp us $75 for the night we could not use the hot tub (even though technically it was 2 nights without any use of the pool or hot tub amenities). It put a damper on the start of our trip, but glad they were finally able to fix the issue so we could use the hot tub during our last two nights. We enjoyed the large screen TVs and our pups did like the backyard. Our suggestion would be to bring a flash light as there is not much lighting around the pool/yard, and of course contact the property management company as soon as you have an issue so they can help resolve anything for your stay. We will chalk it up to bad luck for us.

Wonderful and quaint place near downtown Johnson City, TX. Very clean and has everything we needed. Big lot so it feels private also. Great covered sitting area next to the pool in the backyard. FYI, the pool and pool heater controls are in the garage. We had a hard time finding them, so wanted to mention that so future guests can find them easier! :)

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful and peaceful this house and property is, Everything was absolutely perfect, the hot tub was the best! If I ever return to the area I will be booking again! Thank you! 😊

Perfect in every way! The only thing that I would say was a little tough. Was google kept sending us around and around to find the property. With that being said it had nothing to do with the property itself. Will rent again if back in the area.

Our family, two adult daughters and my adult son and daughter-in-law with our newest grandchild stayed over the 4th of July. The home was perfect!! We all had our own bedroom and the beds were very comfy. The home was surrounded by trees and we anticipate returning to enjoy the pool. The deer were wandering all around! We had a very relaxing and enjoy visit.
