Very nice. Clean, lovely view. A couple of issues: the water faucet in the kitchen sometimes just stops working. Nobody touches the lever, it just stops. Period! Also, with all those beds and 3 bathrooms, why would you have exactly ONE hairdryer, and that one improbably hidden in the laundry room??

We gathered as a family here and had a great experience. Sitka Travel helped us with all the details to make it memorable. The view was stunning and the location close to town and shops to make getting around easy. The kitchen had everything we needed so we could cook easily. All in all a great time!

We stayed at Scales & Shells during a work event in Sitka. The house was clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms are spacious. There were nice touches like snacks and coffee on hand. The house is located in close walking proximity to town and was also a quiet neighborhood. We loved it!

Excellent stay - photos under sell the place
The place was very nice and well laid out with plenty of room. Very bright and open living room and kitchen. Extremally close to town (can walk everywhere or take public transportation). Think the photos of the place undersold it in the summer
