Clean and well-equipped -- not one of those minimalist rental houses run by flippers for party people. Nice neighborhood, close but not too close to downtown & beaches. Has a lovely screened-in pergola for quiet summer evenings.

Very nice and spacious house. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had. It was taken care immediately. Well decorated. We had a very relaxing 3 day weekend. Enjoyed the deck and gazebo. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. I would stay there again.

We came to visit family in Michigan all the way from CT. The listing was as described. The living and kitchen were bigger then expected. Very clean. We walked in to find a bottle of wine and after a long drive with kids it made me so happy! What an extra touch. Although it’s in walking/biking distance to downtown South Haven and beaches, we drove and it was easy to navigate and park during the week. I locked us out of the house the second day and Barbara was quick to respond and help me resolve the situation. Thank you Barbara and Paul for renting your great house to us, it was an awesome first experience on Lake Michigan.

Everything was comfortable, spacious, and sparkling clean. The Gazebo is such a lovely place to drink a morning coffee. Large deck and yard are great ways to spend the evenings. A very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Lots if little extras to enjoy. Our family had a great week and we can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful home in South Haven. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and nice deck and gazebo. Loved the open floor plan and large dining table. Would stay here again.

Very clean, bright cheery home. Great deck and gazebo for relaxing with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Everything you need for a home away from home from bikes for the whole family, yard games, beach chairs, coolers, towels and a well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook at home or BBQ. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Great house, great amenities, great, quiet location.

Less than a mile from Downtown S Haven. Walked a few times…close to the hiking trails and the dog beaches. The house was nice, centrally located.

We loved the house it was very nice. We had the best weather for the fall. We loved how close we were to downtown and how nice it was to go pick up food, shop or go to the beach and be back home in no time.

Very clean accommodations. Loved the stores left for us. Lots of space to unwind and very friendly neighborhood for nice walks. The included bicycles and yard games were fun to use. Not the best weather but we did get a chance to checkout a sunset or two. 10 of 10 will stay here again! Thanks for the memories!

The four of us were extremely pleased with our stay in your lovely and comfortable South Haven home. Enjoyed morning coffee in the Gazebo to plan daily excursions. The amenities were terrific and as listed. The close proximity to the beach was perfect along with each sunset! The downtown areas offered great food options and fun shopping experiences. Short drive to restaurants, playgrounds, beaches, the harbor, and Bumbleberry Acres. The fire pit was great and the host had it stocked for s’mores. The house is roomy with great outdoor space.

Place was clean and comfy!

Spent a long weekend with our adult kids at Barb’s house. The space was great for our large group, the beds and linens were nice, the kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes and tools. The screened gazebo was nice to enjoy outside without being eaten alive. The large dinning table was perfect for rowdy night games of cards and such. It was an easy pop into town or the beach. Overall an excellent value. Thanks Barb, it was a pleasure to stay at your home and we fully enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend.

family vacation

My husband and I and my two adult nieces enjoyed this immaculate three bedroom home so much. We had plenty of room to invite our South Haven family of six for family dinners at our "house". S'mores at the fire pit; a huge deck to watch the family play yard games; a lovely screened in gazebo to enjoy our evenings outside and in the morning to sit in it's shade with a cup of coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner for our guests. Seating was great with two big tables one on the deck and the other in the dining room, plus seats at the kitchen counter. Plenty of towels and linens. The beds were so comfy. All we needed to bring were clothes and food. The neighborhood is very quiet which made for very pleasant bike rides and walks. A half mile away is the beach which we rode to on the bikes in the garage. This host has thought of everything for a wonderful stay. She accommodated for our needs. We can't wait to return.

Large comfortable living area. Exceptional outdoor deck with gazebo, grill, dining area, attractive landscaping. We enjoyed the Bikes, indoor and outdoor games and tv/cable options and other extras. Though not on beach we were a short bike ride to lake and Kids Corner park. Owner was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. We would stay here again.

If you're looking for a place that has lots of space to spend time with your whole group, this is the spot! Large common area with a great dining room table and couch, and a huge deck with a screened-in gazebo to keep the bugs out in the evening. Barbara was amazing to work with, and was very quick to respond when we had any questions. Good number of beds with two showers and three sinks makes this a great spot for a family or a group of friends! Thanks for helping us have a great vacation, Barbara!
