Great location and a great place for kids and adults to enjoy the games and outdoor space.

I wanted to spend some time in the Smokey Mountains with my grown children and this is the perfect place for that. We enjoyed the Great Smokey Mountain Railway, taking Ducky kayaks down the Nantahala River, horseback riding with Smokemont stables along the Oconaluftee river to a waterfall, and walking part of the Appalachian Trail over the Fontana Dam. On the relaxing days we enjoyed reading on the great deck with Mountain View’s or watching a movie on the screen. And there is pool and darts to play. It’s a great house!

Wow what a view, we totally enjoyed the cabin and the area, the cabin is so spacious and comfortable and the view is gorgeous. Hope we get to the area again, we would definitely stay again.

We booked this fabulous home last minute. We were so happy to have such a great place to spend the Memorial Day weekend. Our daughter flew in from DC and had as much fun as we did. Pool table in basement provided lots of laughs. Kitchen nook was perfect for b'fast before days of hiking and sightseeing. Then the perfect place for a Scrabble game in the evening. Large porch was used to watch sun come up, go down and enjoy the quiet. Didn't get to use the telescope that the owner's provided due to cloudy nights. But didn't really need with the powerful binoculars that were also provided. Nice having a grill on the porch - which we used several times for dinner cooking. Home was immaculate, kitchen fully stocked and lots of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, Kleenex and all the little amenities that made the stay so perfect. Even though we were surrounded by quiet, home was close to Sylva, casino and Great Smoky Mtn National Park. Perfect location. Perfect accommodation. Perfect get away.

Roamer’s Respite is situated up a narrow paved road upon which each property is fairly secluded. You’re in a forest as you ascend the somewhat steep, winding road. When you arrive, there is plenty of parking. Check in is a key code you’re given with your registration confirmation, and was easy to access. The home is comfortable and has both aspects of a quiet retreat setting in its cozy and well decorated spaces as well opportunities for fun with plenty of games, including a pool table and dart board. The home had everything we needed to help make our weekend getaway retreat/reset a success. We love visiting the area, and Roamer’s Retreat is perfectly situated near scenic drives, cool towns (including our favorite BBQ place), and the Great Smoky Mountains.

We had a wonderful time! Check-in was a breeze home is beautiful with plenty of room for the family. Owners are wonderful with fast responses time. LuLus on main is a must also Haywood Smokehouse we loved it!! Go see the waterfalls in the area there is a list inside the binder owner provides. Amazing time!!!!

This was a short business trip but was a nice quick getaway as well. The house was excellent…everything well stocked. Plenty of entertainment or can just relax. Will be back!

This home is easy to settle into. Dark and quiet at night in the Smoky Mountains. A well outfitted kitchen, many games for adults and children, and even many extra supplies for guests such as shampoos, toothpaste and brushes…all show the hosts are eager to please. You’ll enjoy your stay.

We were pleased to find this wonderful property allowing us to visit our son. The house has everything you need, beautiful mountain views, four seasons room, comfortable beds, game room, and a great kitchen with everything you need. This property is located near Dillsboro so you can take advantage of the local artisans and their shops. Our host was very gracious and attentive to our every need even though we didn't need much because all was taken care of before we arrived. We took a trip to Pigeon Forge over the mountains and were blessed with a beautiful mountain snow. Wow, this was a great trip and would do it again!

My family and I loved every bit of our stay! The house was beautiful and equipped with pretty much every thing you need. Joe (the owner) was also great and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We could not have asked for a better stay and we hope to return in the future!

Needed a house for the weekend and this was the perfect location. It was a nice and quiet area with beautiful views.

I highly recommend this property. I stayed with 4 friends on a motorcycle trip to the area, and everything was great. The home itself is well appointed with a nice kitchen, game room with TV, pool table and electronic dartboard. It has an awesome deck with beautiful views, a gas grill, gas fire pit and loads of seating. Host was very accommodating with perfect communication.

Great location just a 5 min drive to town. Joe added a 220v outlet so we could charge our car. Nice view on deck. Kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a great time at this place. The house easily accommodated our 6 adults and 3 kids and our baby. The house is extremely well stocked. The teenagers loved to hang out in the game room to play pool and darts. We love the large deck and had some great grilled dinners watching the sunsets. Our motorcycling members said it was a perfect location to all of the rides they wanted to do. We will be coming back to this house next year. See y 'all then.

We had a lovely time staying at this particular property. It was well equipped with all the necessities. The owner of the property was very polite and attentive.

Wonderful property 1/2 mile up a mountain paved single lane all the way to the door. Everything is as described in the listing. Plenty of "at home" luxuries that aid the traveler if you didnt bring everything. 3 levels so there is stairs to navigate to get to the bottom game room/bedroom and top master bedroom floors, bathroom each level.Large deck off the mid level with plenty of furniture, propane grill and fire pit all working properly with a great view. Owner very quick to get back with you with any question you might have. Check in very easy, you get a door code punch it and open the mid level door. Park up top by mid level or down below under the deck. Great location to do many different things in the area: dillsboro, silva, wnc, bryson city, train, nat outdoor center , font dam, just to name a few. Plenty of very good food options nearby if you choose not to cook or grill with my personal favorite Haywoods Smokehouse just 2 miles. Jack the dipper ice cream yum..My wifes description of this property is "its great", kitchen very well stocked also. No doubt a 5 star property that I would not hesitate to return to. . Fine for a couple or up to 2 families.. thank you Joe...

The house was amazing with stunning views! Everyone from my teens to my parents had a great time! The location was great and we were able to explore multiple towns and had some great adventures. It was nice they allowed our dogs to be with us for this week long adventure! Amazing host will recommend to family and friends.
