The house was clean and in a great location for seeing the area. I'm familiar with the area especially Henry's Lake area since I worked there in Summer in the mid 70's when in high school in CA. Cant go wrong with this place!

This place thought of everything. All you need are your clothes and tooth brush. I have stayed in many of places and this cabin was once of the most comfortable places i have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed the cleanliness and layout of the home. Very cozy. Extremely clean in comparison to other properties we physically saw in the neighborhood.

This is a great home tucked a short distance from West Yellowstone. Plenty of hiking nearby. This place is outfitted! The hosts have thought of everything! It was a great place to spend our Thanksgiving!

The house, accommodations, cleanliness, property owners did not disappoint!! I can’t say enough about how well taken care of the house was and about the ease and communication from the owners. Every thing was perfect down to the last detail…..and they thought of every last detail!! Would HIGHLY recommend this property and we will definitely be back as soon as we can!!

This cabin is well cared for which I really appreciate! Very clean and great location, close to West entrance of Yellowstone so we went there everyday! Management was very responsive if we needed anything. Sauna was great too.

Fantastic fit for our family! Four adults and two 10 yr olds. Each bedroom has a bathroom, amazing perk! Great kitchen, cookware, gas oven, dinnerware etc... with large table perfect for eating and games. Conveniently located 8 miles outside West Yellowstone entrance (best park entrance) with easy access to shops, restuarants and grocery stores. HIGHLY recommend this vacation home!!

The property was nice. It could have been cleaned better. Also the hot water took forever to come on.

Great accommodations. Very clean. Well stocked. All we needed was there. Michael provided excellent information.

Loved our stay. Great for everyone to have their own space with a bathroom. The outside pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the inside is. Great access to restaraunts in West Yellowstone and the west gate to the park. House has coolers to use so we didnt have pack them. Would reccomend to anyone planning a trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Fox Den Lodge and enjoyed coming back to such a thoughtfully laid out home where we could cook dinner, play games, and relax with ample space for all six of us. Michael was very communicative in our lead up and throughout our stay and everything was as pictured/described. We appreciated having a great base from which to explore Yellowstone (~12 minute drive to the park entrance) and the recommendations provided by Michael were very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed staying at Fox Den Lodge. Clean and comfortable, and close to Yellowstone!

Located a few miles from town the location was quiet and perfect. This house is amazing and beautifully decorated. When I walked in I was surprised how big it was. I was even more surprised to find full bathrooms in each bedroom with amazing water pressure which is perfect after a long day in YNP. The porch was great to hang out and grill on. The sauna was also a great touch! And the internet was good enough to stream movies and have several personal devices connected. If you’re on the fence between this and another property I recommend you choose this one as you won’t be disappointed!

This home is everything you want and need in a Yellowstone vacation rental. The location and proximity to the Park are convenient but also private. The home is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The owner is great in communication. This is our second time staying at Fox Den Lodge. We hope to return in the future. Highly recommend.

Perfect location to visit Yellowstone. On a colder day sauna can warm you up. Also close to the hedegen reservoir where you can canoe or rent a boat for water ski.

Great stay

Fox Den Lodge was the perfect home for our Yellowstone family trip. First of all, the photos online do not do justice to the beauty and detail put into this home! Wow! Everything one could need was provided as listed on the site. The house was impeccably clean and neat. Small quiet neighborhood made for a feeling that you were in a lone cabin in the woods. Quick easy straight drive into West Yellowstone. Great home to stay in and plenty of space for our family of 6. While we didn’t see much wildlife on property it does certainly present an environment to spot a variety of creatures. The homeowner was always quick to respond to any questions I had and very helpful. One more highlight was the helpful tips sent prior to our stay, suggested itineraries, and maps galore that were for use in the house. Thank you! Highly recommend staying in this beautiful home!

The property was just right for the 5 of us. It is clean and bedding was comfortable. The amenities and supplies were plentiful. Michael is very communicative and expressed concerns for our comfort. The location is very convenient to travel to the west entrance of the Yellowstone National Park. Our overall experience with the property is very satisfactory and will rent again if we ever go back.

A very comfortable house with room for privacy and to be together. Well-stocked kitchen. Close to Yellowstone, yet away from the crowds. Michael was great regarding communication, especially in terms of the June flood. He sent very helpful info on how to spend our days in Yellowstone. Highly recommended!!!

This was our first family trip to Yellowstone. We spent 7 nights here and could not have stayed at a better location. Minutes from the West gate/town allowing us to pick up anything needed during our stay but far enough to be away from the busy tourists areas. The property had everything needed during our stay and our host was kind enough to provide keyed logistics information allowing us to seamlessly plan/coordinate our trip (i.e. ordering bulk groceries/suppplies in larger towns, day trip planner, watch outs, etc.). We will definitely be back to Yellowstone on the coming years and hope to be able to stay here for all of pir visits.

We had a wonderful time staying here during our time in West Yellowstone. The property was clean and well maintained and our family really enjoyed our time here. Can’t say enough good things about this property, or the host. The week before our trip, Yellowstone was devastated with floods, and the park was closed. This was a once in a lifetime trip for our family, and we never thought of canceling. Michael was extremely helpful, giving us tips, like pre-ordering and picking up groceries on the way in from the airport, to supplying us with all kinds of things to do around the area that weren’t Yellowstone. As we got closer, he provided us with daily reports about the status of the park reopening. We can’t thank him enough for his info and recommendations! As far as the cabin goes, just top notch all the way! One reason we chose it, was each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was a huge help for all of us, being a couple and two adult kids. The place is immaculate, and quite comfortable. Another great aspect to it, is the wildlife. Every evening, elk would come into the field NE of the cabin. One night, we even had a bear show up around midnight. My son was out photographing the Milky Way, and northern lights, when we started to hear “huffing”. It was pitch black, and took a little bit to figure out what it was. We never saw it, but it was very close. The bear huffed quite a few times, we ran into the garage through the entry door, a little shaken, but excited. The next morning we went out and found some fresh scat near the house. Wildlife abounds there, to be sure! The cabin is situated a short drive from West Yellowstone. Amazing views in just about any direction. The night skies are gorgeous! We can’t recommend this property enough! Many thanks to Michael for helping to make our once in a lifetime vacation a truly memorable and fantastic experience for all of us!

House was perfect for our family. Michael was great helping find some alternatives since the Park was closed due to flooding during our entire stay. We still managed to have a great trip.

I rented this house for a girls’ trip to Yellowstone. The house is lovely, cozy, very quiet and well equipped. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. In the evenings we often picked up diner to go so we could just relax in the house. We also greatly appreciated the information about the park, wildlife and birds available in the house’s lending library. I would absolutely stay there again

We first stayed here in 2014 when it was brand new. This was our first time back, and it’s still a wonderful place to stay. Michael is very helpful and will answer questions or take care of any issues that arise. I highly recommend and would stay here again.
