I absolutely loved all of the space to let everyone be able to move about and have alone time.

I wish there was a baby gate on the stairs and something to keep kids from climbing the birds nest stairs.

The location is excellent. The widows peak is off to the side so easy to keep little kids away from it. We would rent again!

So its always tough taking groceries up stairs, but this comes with the territory of beach life.

The property has a great location! Dauphin Island in general is a nice alternative to more touristy costal areas. The house is located right on the beach with great views and access to the beach. However, and especially considering the price, the house lacked in a few areas. While it was pretty clean overall, doors and cabinets were messy, there was some mold, and there were many soft spots in the floors. While there were plenty of beds for 10 people, the living room could only accommodate 4-5 to sit and watch a movie. Also the house did not have kitchen amenities such as foil, oil spray, tea or coffee (things I typically find in hotels/vacation rentals). The house was nice but somethings were in disrepair (such as the spiral staircase which was no longer anchored to the deck). For the price I was really expecting pristine conditions.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is located right at the beach. Great view of the sea. We can only recommend the house.

Upstairs bathroom had some mould on the ceiling/vent.
