Fantastisch uitzicht, ruime accommodatie. Aangezien wij er verbleven tijdens het laagseizoen was het extreem rustig, wat het natuurlijk extra aangenaam maakt. Handig contactloos in-& uitchecken. Veel parking vlak voor de accommodatie. Leuk dorpje, voorzien van alle faciliteiten zoals winkels, activiteitencentra, zwembad, verschillende watervallen op wandelafstand, toeristisch infocenter, …

We moesten zelf onze bedden opmaken & ons afval weggooien wat we vreemd vinden voor die prijs. Op een regenachtige dag is het niet zo aangenaam verblijven, het meubilair dat ter beschikking gesteld wordt zijn stuk voor stuk buitenmeubelen. De zetel is een outdoorlounge set, welke niet super aangenaam is. De keuken is slechts beperkt uitgerust. Op een warme dag warmt de kamer heel snel op en we kregen het zeer moeilijk afgekoeld ondanks de frisse buitentemperatuur tijdens de nacht. (We verbleven op de bovenste verdieping)

We hadden huisje D1, pal aan het water met een prachtig uitzicht! Het huisje was gezellig, knus en met voldoende keukenspullen (koffiezetapparaat, magnetron, waterkoker, genoeg borden, glazen, bestek etc). De slaapkamer beneden was lekker ruim met een grote kledingkast. Onze 3 kids (6, 9 en 11 jaar) waren dolblij met hun eigen "slaapzolder" met unieke (steile) trap. Deze trap is vast niet voor iedereen geschikt, maar onze kids waren er na 1 keer op- en afklimmen al helemaal aan gewend. Ook een groot compliment aan Grace voor alle hulp zowel voor en tijdens onze reis. Pas na het boeken van een huisje zag ik op de website van Skjolden Brygge zelf dat er meerder types huisjes zijn. Bij navraag bleek dat we een type "B" huisje (aan de straatkant ipv de waterkant) hadden geboekt. Na app en telefonisch contact met Grave konden we gelukkig nog een huisje aan de waterkant boeken. Ook in- en uitchecken kon gemakkelijk online na contact met Grace (de huisjes hebben een deurcode).

De kookplaat heeft maar 2 pitten (4 zou handig zijn met 5 personen) en helaas geen oven of vaatwasser. Verder zaten er wat kleine schimmelplekjes op de muur bij de douche, maar dat zijn wat mij betreft minimale nadelen die ruimschoots worden gecompenseerd door het gezellige huisje en het prachtige uitzicht.

Leiligheten er romslig. Kjøkkenet fungerer godt og har nok hvitevarer. Ikke langt å kjøre til Sognefjellet for toppturer. Nydelig utsikt. Grace er både behjelpelig og hyggelig som vert🤙

Vi var der i 5 dg med hund. Savnet å ha noe vaskemiddel og gulv fille til å vaske over gulvet. Det er støvsuger der, men med mye tråkk inn og ut er det kjekt å kunne tørke over gulvet. 🐕

Flott beliggenhet, praktisk, reint og fint.

The location is stunning, right at the head of the fjord. If we had had better weather and been able to enjoy the deck, we would have spent a lot of time out there looking at the views. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, warm and well-equipped. The host (Grace) communicated well and was very friendly.

Noise from the guest upstairs walking across his floor was quite intrusive especially at 6 in the morning. One thing to note....do not copy and paste the address provided on to Google maps. It will take you 40 plus minutes away from the accommodation, leaving you in the middle of nowhere. Be sure to type in manually 'Skjolden Brygge' to ensure arrival at the correct destination.

Utsikten, beliggenheten

The best thing about the hotel is of course the terraces and the view! Worth all the money in this world! You can just stay at the terrace, drink coffee and enjoy! Perfect stay!

Loved that place!! Wish we arrived earlier to be able to enjoy it for a bit longer. Apartment was spacious, clean and equipped, right on the water and the view was beautiful. The host was super nice and helpful.

The drive there from Flam at night was long, dark and not easy- worth taking it into account.

Die Lage des Objekts war fantastisch. Wunderschöner Ausblick von der Terasse und durch die Panoramafenster. Die Dame von der Rezeption, Grace, sehr zuvorkomend und nett. Der Salon war sehr groß mit bequemen Sofas zu verweilen. Alles sehr schön hell und super sauber. Großes Bad mit Dusche. Küche und Kühlschrank ebenfalls schön und sauber.

1. Ich fand richtig schlimm, dass Im Schlafzimmer KEIN Fenster zum offnen war (??????) Die Scheibe war fest eingebaut und kein Griff zum öffnen. WIESO? Ihr musst das unbedingt ändern. Es gab 2 kleine Lüftungskästen nach draußen aber das ersetzt das Lüften nicht. 2. Ein großes Bad allerdins ohne irgendwelche Möbel. Wohin mit den Kosmetik- und Hygieneartikeln? Platz ist genug, ich würde einen kleinen Regal an die Wand hängen. Es fehlte ein Duschvorleger. Wir müssten leider ein Handtuch dafür opfern. 3.Das Esstisch für 2 Personen ausreichend, aber für 4 viel zu klein, obwohl es genügend Platz vorhanden ist für ein großeres. 4.Fußmatte im Flur wäre nützlich. Man konnte niergend die Schuhe abtretten. 5. Auf der Terrasse wären Sesseln anstadt von Stühlen viel bequemer.

Fantastic view over the fjord from the apartment.

The apartment was not very cosy, had a sterile atmosphere. There are big cruiseships that stay in the fjord. They block part of the panoramic view and bring lots of tourists.

Simple and functional with an amazing view. Skjolden is a very nice place. I also recommend the local bakery.

The house is big, there's a great view.

The bathroom was very dated and there was no shelf space. Showering flooded the bathroom. There was a lot of noise from upstairs neighbours. The kitchen is very sparsely furnished.

Very beautiful and spacious apartment, the location is wonderful, there is a parking in front of it. Easy to communicate with the host.

The cleaning of the shower in the bathroom was terrible, the shower was so dirty with black dirt all over the floor and walls, so we didn't shower for our whole stay. Not okay!

Really good value for money; the place is huge, with a lovely terrace over the water and gorgeous, sweeping views of the fjord. The sunsets were insane, and the whole vibe was very peaceful. There was modern, spacious a kitchen with a good selection of pots and pans for preparing meals.

Check-in was, frankly, not cool. The property had not registered that we changed our booking from one to two nights, and were forced to switch our booking to another room on the fly - which would have been fine, except that there were already people staying in that room. The other guests were lovely about it, but I find that this was a bit of a safety issue with complete strangers knowing our door code.

-skjolden on its own its a beautifull cozy small town , right in the fjord , perfect if you are looking for a place in the countryside -Skjolden brygge , on its own , its right in the lake , both cabins and apartments looking towards it , and the view that you get from them are gorgeous. -the cabin i stayed in had everything you may need , fridge , bathroom , microwave , kitchen .... a couple beds in the first floor and 3 more in the second one. It had also gorgeous views of the lake -the people working there will help you out with anithing you may need , they are very friendly and they will answer your messages as soon as they can. 10/10 i will repeat this experience if i have the chance to do so
