We enjoyed our stay. The owner Mo is very nice and accommodating. I appreciated that it was so well stocked with napkins, TP, garbage bags, detergent, towels, and kitchen items such as coffee, cooking oil, etc. The only thing I didn't like about this home was the extremely loud street noise from loud cars, motorcycles, and trucks accelerating away from the stop sign at the busy intersection next to the house. Bring ear plugs or a white noise machine . The A/C unit fan in each bedroom helps act as white noise to drown out loud trucks , but I was still experimenting to find an optimal solution, since we only stayed 3 nights. On the other hand, having a location convenient to the beach , grocery store, and village means you have to put up with street noise. It's really a lovely home, just figure out what works for your group to drown out the cars! Thanks Mo for your hospitality.

We loved our time on Cleo Street! My kids are already begging to go back. Mo and Vanessa are wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and attentive to any need. We had plenty of space to spread out (there were 8 of us), it was a short 5 minute walk to the beach where my kids loved surfing, boogie boarding and skim boarding. All of the extras were so nice… plenty of beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, a beach cart and lots of boogie boards! This was SO nice for us to not have to pack this. The outdoor shower was an added bonus to get all the sand off before going in the house! There is also a grocery story right across the street, which was so convenient, especially with a large family. Laguna Beach is a really nice area, with lots of cute shops and restaurants. We also did a little hiking and the views were breathtaking. Of all the places we’ve stayed in Southern California, Laguna Beach tops them all! We hope to come back soon!

To celebrate my sister's 65th birthday, the two of us and our three daughters (30ish) came to Laguna (from Chicago, Madison and Atlanta) for the weekend. i selected the Cleo based primarily upon the number of rooms/beds and location. it far exceeded my expectations. The space is lovely and the location is perfect. Mo is a gracious host and went above and beyond in welcoming us, including birthday balloons!

Cleo in the village is a great stay for larger parties or those wanting more room. Our girls trip party enjoyed the common spaces, kitchen and amenities. You can’t beat the location either! Mo and Vanessa were excellent hosts, very attentive. Thanks for having us!

We could not have found a better place to stay with friends and family! The home is beautiful, clean, very spacious and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need when traveling. We were a group of 8 and had so much room and privacy. Our host MO and Vanessa are incredibly sweet and generous. They went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. Directly across the street from grocery store! Love that! Also just a block away from Beach and so many amazing restaurants and shops. We cannot wait to go back.

Nothing but LOVE for Mo & Vanessa! Our family vacation was incredible!! The prime location of their beach house was simply perfect - we walked to the beach, stores, and restaurants, & enjoyed our evening strolls along PCH. Our family members, ranging from young kids to 85 year olds, were very comfortable in this spacious & clean house. We are very grateful for Vanessa and Mo’s generosity and impeccable hospitality & we can’t wait to be back. We highly recommend “Cleo in the Village” beach house. It is truly a Gem!

The house had plenty of space and areas to be together or find a quiet spot. The furniture, beds, pillows, and linens were all comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for group meals and the space to move around. Everything was thought of — analog and electronic games, spices and kitchen supplies, beach supplies (including towels), space to park, areas outside to kick back, and personal items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.). They even had a little basket full of things you might have forgotten, like toothpaste or sunscreen. My husband continued to comment: "I like the space available here. That shower sure has great water pressure. This couch is comfortable." There were fans for every room and pack-n-plays for the little ones. We parked our cars and walked everywhere. We even took some long walks up in the neighborhood behind their house. Both Mo and Vanessa were available to answer questions or make suggestions for favorite places to eat, the best beaches to visit, or options for shopping. They were incredibly accommodating and lovely people. It was tough to leave; we felt like we made new friends and fell in love with Laguna. This place will be on our repeat list. We can't wait until next time — we might have to stay for a month! Pack light; you won't need much. Get yourself booked at Cleo in The Village and GO!!

House is much more spacious than in pictures! Very bright and airy and lots of room to spread out on 3 levels. Convenient location. Fantastic hosts that were nearby and very generous and kind.

So many thoughtful touches by Mo and Vanessa made this stay so awesome. The house is spacious and clean, which as great for entertaining friends and family for small gatherings. And, the master suite was private and luxurious… my wife said she felt like a movie star! The location was so great that we walked everywhere and the beach was 2 short blocks away. The hosts were so friendly and responsive as well. Definitely our best vacation rental experience ever!

The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. Stayed in December and the owner decorated for Christmas - a Nutcracker theme. So well done - magazine worthy! Elegant yet homey. While there’s not an ocean view, it’s only 2 blocks to a beautiful, sweeping view. And the location is perfect for walking or taking the free trolley to downtown, art festival, Laguna Playhouse, many great restaurants, etc. Plus the Ralph’s grocery store is right across the street. We loved the place and look forward to returning.

A true5 star experience. The property was exquisite., spotless and stocked with anything we needed. Spices, bottled water, wine, leftover baggies, etc. property owners Mo & Vanessa were on site and available if needed. True 5 star host and hostess. Our group of 9, family and friends, had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Location, location, location! We parked our cars in provided parking spots and walked to all dinners and shops. The home is spacious-met all our needs and then some. Mo and Vanessa are by far super hosts with the most! Anything you might need to enjoy the beach or cooking in the kitchen is provided. As described, the beach is only a block away. We highly recommend this home!

Check-in was easy, the property was lovely, and the location was perfection! You will not need to use your car at all! Super quick walk to the charming downtown, beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants! So many beach supplies and amenities at the property that save you from having to pack & bring with you! We had a blast and will be back for sure!
