The view from this home was beautiful in every direction. Because the house is at a noarrow point in the island, you can see both the bay and the gulf from the house. And you can hear the surf from every room--very relaxing. The location is really just perfect. We noticed that the deck is brand new and very safe--a great place to sit and enjoy the ocean view.

Overall, the stay was good. Like a few others have said, we did encounter a few roaches during our stay. Luckily, most of them were already dead so that leads me to believe they have sprayed for them. There were no cleaning supplies to be found. It would have been nice to have at the very least a multipurpose cleaner. There also is no mop, which would be handy if there are any spills. We did not have any small children, but if you do, I would make sure they do not walk on the deck without shoes. There are some nails have come up and stepping on them hurts. I know that is a common problem with these houses, a different one we stayed in last year had the same problem. Other than that, everything else was pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The wifi was surprisingly good. The customer service folks were very responsive and helpful. I do like that you are not expected to do a gazillion chores upon checkout, like you do with some rental companies!

Great house for a family vacation with children. Right on beach. Lots of sand near parking spots so be careful not to get stuck. Ship and Shore is the only grocery spot so if you are feeding a large group you may want to stop in Mobile before getting to the island. House has all the amenities that you may need for cooking. There is a gas grill on the deck for everyday grilling. Skinner’s seafood market is great. The Cottage wine bar and market is an awesome dining spot. We love Dauphin Island. It is very family friendly and not as populated as Gulf Shores. We will return again and I would highly recommend this house.

This house was very nice with a beautiful view, and right on the ocean. It was spotless upon arrival, and bedding/ furniture was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Takes awhile to get on island time, but stay was relaxing. Enjoyed watching dolphins swim past. Unit fit our family - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, one Kindergartener, one 11-month old & one au pair. Room for all. Unbrokern shells galore. Waves quite small - so young ones not afraid. Pots & pans dated. We ate in becuse of babies and COVID. Manager and handyman on top of all issues. They are wonderful! Can't wait to return.

Amazing location. Plenty of space and had everything we needed. Had a few things that needed to be repaired. The blinds on the front door are coming down and the curtain rod in hallway entry is also coming down. But the proximity to the beach can’t be beat.

The house was beautiful and right oh the beach! My whole family fell in love with the location and Dauphin Island is our new go to vacation spot!

While the interior was very nice and mostly clean, the exterior decking was hazardous to children and small dogs. There are several spindles on the decking that are not attached and a child could fall off the deck if they leaned on any one those. Also the screws and nails are coming up every where - can’t go barefoot. For the cost of the rental, I was disappointed in the condition of the deck. And the stairs - railings shake and are coming apart.

Very clean house, spacious great room, comfortable beds! We enjoyed the views from the wrap around deck- also appreciated that the stairs at the top of the deck had gates.

We loved our experience! The location was perfect and everything was as promised. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
