The peace and quiet. The simplicity and cleanliness of the apartment. The Park and the sea just within a few feet of your apartment and the half mile walk to the Footbridge into Boothbay. All a gift.

My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food. Having stayed in many types of short-term vacation lodging I would say that there is often a seasoning, cooking oil, a few sandwich bags or wrap, and some "starter" coffee (2 pods or a filter and one packet for the pot) available. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend Barret's Watch. It's a quiet, accessible, and pleasant place to stay near the water.

The place is very well kept in a great location. Barrett Park is right across the road great for a swim and relaxing. Far enough away from the touristy hub bub yet only about a mile walk into all the attractions. 👍👍👍

Everything was nice and it was close to town to walk. They just have to get the key thing straight. Apparently the neighbor had the same trouble and the people before us. The code that they give you doesn’t open the door. There is a back up key and we did get in after they gave us the code. The house was a little 1 bdrm and had all the essentials to give us a nice stay. Would recommend it.

The property description and pictures were totally accurate. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had the right amenities. Everything was great except there were no tissues anywhere.

The place itself is very clean, very well stocked, and just a comfortable, great place to stay. The setting was wonderful, quiet, and relaxing.

Reservation process and host communications were excellent. The 2nd floor apartment and deck offered great views of Lobster Cove. The apartment was clean and kitchen was well appointed. It was a very quiet location. We enjoyed our stay.

Check in was simple, great location, you can walk everywhere, nice view if the harbor, definitely would stay here again

Loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants across the footbridge and sleep away from the hubbub.

Would rate this property 6 stars if possible. Clean well maintained property on a beautiful street with waterfront view. And the park about 300 feet from the house was an added bonus and a delightful surprise.

It was very clean and comfortable, and in a great location with an incredible view.
