very nice Hotel, well located, some of the reception staff would benefit of training....

The hotel staff were very hospitable and friendly. We did face an issue on the first day due to repair work in the adjoining building, which created a very disturbing noise due to the drilling. However, the hotel staff were very quick to accommodate and change our room promptly. Overall, a nice, cozy and comfortable stay. The surrounding area is very central offers good connectivity and eating / shopping options.

The hotel is up for renovation, the bathroom had several broken tiles that opened up my bare feet. Also the shower was not working correctly

If you like lamp shades from 1910; empty mini bar; dreadfully shrieking wardrobe doors; plastic shower curtain and rotten seals around the shower taps then this is your hotel- if not don’t bother to stay there

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We only speak English and they were very accommodating.

We booked two rooms and stayed with our children for three nights on the 7th floor facing the road.Hotel staff's were excellent.but the noise from the tram travelling up and down was so bad we couldn't have a proper night sleep.

I feel like this place/well, mainly the rooms, could do with some TLC. The kettle didn't work, one of the sockets was hanging off the wall, fan didn't work in toilet, sockets didn't work unless the light was on (!!!), not many sockets in general, bath took ages to run and water wasn't as hot as you'd expect. So yeah, could be good. Location good with tram nearby. Restaurant closed.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was warm and clean, but very characteristically period european rather than modern european furnishing. This added to the character and charm, but with a dated charm are also some features that would benefit from rejuvination. A fully functional hotel, comfortable and safe and at the higher end of the price bracket.

I thought it was a little expensive and the condition of the room had some problems with the hot water never really got fixed. Very corporate.

Super hotel

The hotel is in a mostly residential area far from the touristy parts of Brussels. Staff are very friendly, smiley and helpful, although I had to remind them twice to deliver a chair to my room as there was nowhere to sit at the desk. The room was comfortable enough - especially the bed - but it has seen better days: furniture was old and chipped, a cupboard door would not close properly, the water flow from the shower was extremely weak and dribbly, and the temperature of the water fluctuated unpredictably between scorching hot and tepid. Finally, the a/c did not work effectively for cooling the room and did not seem to work at all for heating: the lights were on, but nothing happened. Overall, I would say the hotel is good but old and needs maintenance.

Perfect Hotel with an. excellant value for money

fantastic hotel, cozy room, helpful receptionist and technician as the room door couldn't lock properly. many nice restaurants nearby and close to tram station.

The bedroom part of my room was good and the downstairs breakfast area was very good.

Employees were very helpful, nice room, nice ground floor. - Plumbing could be improved. Restaurant closed in August. All in All, Excellent hotel.

Good location, rooms could be improved

I was a bit dissapointed by the absence of a decent coffee machine. A water boiler and instant coffee in this day and age should not be considered acceptable. However the rest of my stay was really nice as were the staff.

Very comfortable room, the bed was amazing and even though a bit old / dated it is very well maintained in an amazing locatoon far from the center but in the most beautiful upscale part pr Brusells.

Nice

It was A good stay, nothing out of the ordinary but well worth the price. Quite ok distance in to the city center, was Easy with an Electric scooter pass. Reception was very nice.

The hotel is nice, clean, quiet, and quaint, located in a residential and shopping area with a nice park nearby. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but judging by the menu, it seems to be very good. Same for lunch and dinner. There is a tram stop close to the hotel and by tram, it takes about 15 minutes to reach downtown Brussels. A tram passes every 10 minutes. In summary, a nice, good hotel with easy access to any place in Brussels.

Hotel is good quality and reasonably priced, but they didn't have my reservation on arrival! Don't know if that was down to Expedia or the hotel, but it's the second time it's happened! All resolved, and upgraded for my trouble - thank you Warwick Barsey - but not what you need after a long day :)

Property/room was nice, didn't feel very VIP though imo, no room upgrade despite telling my partner the hotel wasn't full. One tiny bottle of wine. At one point just before check out the bath ran out of hot water and I didn't have time to call anyone as we were checking out! It's my second time visiting this hotel and my first visit was miles better so I assume I just got unlucky this time. I would probably give it another shot. The woman on checkout was so lovely and the beds are super comfortable and I really like the location
