The place is nice. The only thing is the bed is too soft for us. Also the heat/fan is pretty loud if you want it on during the night.

Very uncomfortable beds. My lady and I have back pain from this place. This room had a huge empty space where it looks like they took out the chair or other bed and leave a huge empty space. Why is there a huge room and such a small bed?? Queen size bed in a large room is just bad decision making for whoever runs this property. That should be a king bed and for Pete’s sake would it kill you guys to spend a few extra bucks to not have the cheapest spring mattress you can buy in the rooms?? The room quality is definitely bad for that reason. The service was average but yall need to think about the room being so bare bones that it looks like it’s mid remodel lol

The room was well apointed and recently refreshed. Everything was in good working order. Frankly, the value was 50 to 100% more than the rental fee. Our stay was oe of the better values i have experienced in recent hotel/motel stays. Check-in was efficient and the young lady at the desk was personable and helpful.

Most definitely will be staying here again!

We checked in late around midnight. The front office closes at 10pm. Karun instructed me to call in 10 minutes before arrival to wake him up. He was courteous and helpful, not grumpy. The room was spacious and clean. Two things needed to address and hope that they can change. 1) It’s for room #107. The shower head needs to be replaced. They probably installed water saving shower head. The water is literally trickling. I have tried different mode of water flowing, but not made any difference. It was a big frustration. I talked to front desk, she didn’t seem not surprised. 2) Room service lady was knocking on door in the morning and wake us up. We came in late and were sleeping on. The check out in 11am, but she was knocking on door like 8 am. Hope that they can improve on these two.

Front desk staff was welcoming. Room is updated, spacious and clean. I appreciated knowing that pets stay on the bottom floor but not upstairs where we stayed. They are clearly dog friendly which will be nice for many guests. Grabbed takeout form sushi place just a few minutes walk and ate breakfast at an amazing crepe place just a ten minute walk away. Overall a good stay.

The breakfast dining option nearest to the hotel was good for food quality but not cheap.

Excellent staff

The property was fine, quiet, in a safe area. Rooms were clean. Bed felt like it was going to break and squeaked anytime we moved. The one negative thing about our stay was people checking in after 11pm and unloading upstairs so it was super load for about 40 mins and we had an early flight. Told front desk staff and their response was “ that’s gonna happen when ppl check in”.

Our room had decent space for us and was clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, which made for a very pleasant stay. The only downside with our room was the noisy air conditioning but we didn’t need it on for long because of the temperate Monterey weather.

Room was clean, well laid out and spacious enough to accommodate all of our luiggage. Family run staff went the extra mile to fullfil our needs.

This was my second time staying there. Just a quick overnight trip. Only downside is the parking. But there is a breakfast/lunch place in the same parking lot. Also a 7-11 and pizza factory across the way. Felt safe.

Very nice people. Room clean but noise from unit above. Avoid rooms with overhead accommodations. Expedia showed flat rate pet fee of $25.00 per pet. Charged fee every night, so $150.00 rather than the expected $50.00.

Nice, helpful and accommodating! Super clean and nicely remodeled room. Felt like they wanted us to be there! Great customer service. We had no issues but it felt like they would have helped out if we had!

At check in front desk clerk said the “ owner decided to clean the carpets and the carpet may still be wet” We dropped off our bags to an overwhelming smell of that cheap toxic smell of faboluso left to have the smell die down to come back hours later and realize that the carpet was actually soaking wet . SOAKING WET. The air quality of a soaking wet carpet and not able to open the windows so to safety in the area and the smell still lingering made for a horrific stay. A pack of loud people were in a patch of Astro turf with chairs off the parking lot by grandmas cafe across the way all night long as well. Expedia tried calling multiple times to contact staff for us to no answer by the staff that said she lived at the property for us to leave possibly . Read all the reviews for this unprofessionally run property . I wish I had. On check out I asked what time finished the carpet. She said 2 pm. Check in was at 3 Pm !! 6 hour drive to land at this motel in an unsafe area and with an owner that runs his place like this putting guests at risk for their health to be j. A room with soaking wet carpet . NASTY. Play in a puddle and pitch a tent instead. 200.00 for this? Probably all sorts of bugs under that carpet and Mold. BBB report and reporting to the Chamber of Commerce to Expedia being told they are refusing a refund .

Because of the high rating on Expedia I made the mistake of staying at this property. It’s located in a dingy “motel row” on a very busy street. There was noise from the street throughout the night, with occasional very loud motorcycles preventing it from fading into the background. At 5:15am, jets departed from the nearby airport, and at 6am people started to yell in the parking lot as they loaded up their vehicles. A night of little sleep.

Pacific Inn is a great gem in Monterey! The staff was very friendly, our room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient with the beach, stores, and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! Thank you!
