Nice place to stay at!

Roxy and Williams were great and very helpful. I got a nice free beach tote with stay and free drink coupon for bar. Room was very clean and nice view of diamond head and beach from balcony.

Room was great, close to the beach and the venue we were going to. The only compliant is the road/outside noise. It was so loud it was like the window was open.

Amazing views, super friendly staff, parking was super easy and affordable and free option side street parking was available on the next street over. It was just outside the craziness of Waikiki but still right at the end of the street where everything was super convenient and within walking distance. Loved this and will def stay again!!!

Excellent location, five minute walk to the beach, zoo and park. I bought the holo card for $30 for seven days on "The Bus". Bus stop was close by. Staff was really nice. Would stay again. Reasonably priced.

Loved the location! Right across from the zoo and at the end of the city. Beautiful beach is right there. The chair that is in kitchen area was a wicker chair and had a cushion covering a good size hole. The mattress made us role into the middle, very uncomfortable. There was no dresser to put your clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases on the floor.

It is not the hotel that I booked, it does not have a front desk for checking, the room does not have a telephone, the nightstand is an old refrigerator, the room at night is too bright, this is definitely not the hotel room that I paid for. This is a scam

The property looked nothing like the pictures. The staff was amazing and check in was amazing. Just really need to update the pictures that are posted online

I stayed here for my honeymoon and was inconvenienced the whole time. We booked a nicer room with a better view in our package and they gave us a dirty small room. We did not ask for and they did not let us know either that we would be getting a horrible room. We had to stay there for two days when it cut into our honeymoon time so two out of the five days, we had to stay in a bad room and when we moved to the new room, it was slightly better, but it was still dirty. It was still rundown, and it did not match the pictures at all. We also paid for parking there cause we got a rental car and the manager kept parking in our space other people kept parking in our space. It was supposed to be assigned parking but every time we had to call the front desk when we’d really not wanna worry about that and it was such an inconvenience the whole time we were there we asked if we can get a refund or refunded the difference of what we paid and they just laughed in our face and we were so disappointed when we first got there cause the room looks so rundown, and it did not match the photos

The hotels in a great location, but the staff weren't that friendly, rooms were very average, not serviced whilst we were there for the 5 nights, had to argue with the front desk, which is in room 512, not as walk in, the office is a shameful mess, had issues trying to get the rooms we booked, never again..

Staff were rude. The lady that works in the evening is gone half the time. You have to go between front desk and one of the offices in room 512. Poorly operated hotel

I got a cute room that had island decor on walls and shelves. I loved it. Hula’s was just down stairs which made it fun.

Please don’t book here. Our room was so dirty and the mattress was literally on the floor. It’s weird that they send you to a random room to check in. There’s better out there!

Charged a 100 dollars cleaning fee that wasn’t disclosed to me prior to booking

I recommend staying at the Castle Waikiki. I love the location and the room rate is very affordable for those on a budget. Castle staff even recommended where to park for free on the street near the hotel which saved me the $30-$40/day hotel parking rate. Definitely will stay at the Grand Waikiki by Castle again the next time I'm in Honolulu.

Curtains let the light from the other building outside go through so it’s wasn’t dark at night and we weren’t able to have a good night sleep. Coffee was provided for only one morning and NO tea. We were a couple and we had only one chair and no table for the kitchenette. Not a lot of lighting either only two little lamp on the night stand. Staff was really kind to us tho and available.

Location, location, location. We paid extra for ocean view and well worth it. Since it's a condo, no real service.

I like the Beach very close to it but in our room wasn't anything to swep the sand away

The staff were all totally amazing. The property needs a total update. stayed in room 508. patio door would not lock. the supervisor took immediate action and helped with a solution. again the staff was amazing but owners of property need to invest in some much needed renovation

This was my first time using a hotel condominium, and it was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were done in room 512. Although the business hours of the management office and the front desk are different, there was no problem if we informed them in advance that we would be checking out early in the morning. The view from the observation deck in the common space is spectacular. I stayed in room 515, and the view from the lanai was wonderful as you could see Diamond Head and the ocean at the same time. In January, I was lucky enough to see the sun setting over the sea. I really liked the interior of the room and the plants. The kitchen was easy to use and had plenty of cooking utensils. The hospitality of all the staff was also wonderful. Thank you for your kindness.

The hotel could not be in a better location. Half block from the beach, near everything restaurants, mall, bars, downtown. The price we got is unbeatable for the location. The property itself is a little outdated, could use some improvements but overall is great for sleeping as we stay out all day. My room had a full kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and full kitchenware. Depending on how you book you could book with Waikiki Grand Hotel (building name) or could be with Castle Resorts (like a management co.) So from what i understood if you book with Castle Resorts (my case) most units a privately-owned and each individual owner does what they want as far as updates in the unit my unit wasnt too bad the only complaint was the mattress too old and hard on your back but after the first night you get used to it. It is a little weird how they operate so dont judge the book before you "read". So you register at the front desk as you normally would but if you booked with Castle Resort you have to go to a room in the 5th floor felt a little sketchy and do a real check in there, room is jam packed with hotels supplies, almost like a hoarder, but once you past that you will be ok. Other thing there is no room service and if you need supplies you have to go to the 5th floor room yourself to get it. And the cleaning fee you pay at check in is only for the checkout cleaning, does not include room service.

The hotel room felt like it was someone’s old room. The sheets you sleep in feel like someone’s old sheets. The blanket was gross looking. The room itself was cool. There is no way to turn off the TV. The power button doesn’t do what you think it’s supposed to do. There is no cleaning service while you are there. I was there over a week and the room did not get cleaned once. I could tell by the build up of sand you end up with in your room. I tried to keep it maintained but you’re at the beach all the time it’s impossible. But you will be charged a cleaning fee, although the cleaning is clearly not to make your stay more comfortable. Oh and I hope you don’t like sleep. Because although this is of no fault of the hotel, it is what it is. There are a few roosters that hang out at the park across the street. They crow when it’s dark basically. Not at sun rise. They crow all the time. The doors can muffle the sound slightly, but you will be hearing them.

I’ve been to Honolulu many times. This was my first stay at this hotel. It’s suitable as a place to sleep and shower. The location, in my opinion, is great. I did feel duped by the “cleaning fee”. I would not stay here a second time, but it served its purpose for my trip to Honolulu. The staff was friendly also.

Great location. Room needed carpet cleaned or replaced. Mattress on bed was very soft and uncomfortable, needs replaced. Wood molding trim inside the bathroom door damaged, needing replaced or repaired. For the price point and location of the condo the room was actually great, just in need of maintenance.
