It was a nice clean, comfortable room.

Homewood Suites would not approve a refund. My bill was $86.92 less than what I paid Expedia

The pool was pretty good but that’s about it. The hallway outside our room had wallpaper and such falling off the walls just laying there. The glass doors around the pool look like they haven’t been touched or sanitized in a few months. Pretty icky. The room did have a funny smell upon entering but went away after being in the room for a while. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but everything was very outdated.

We enjoyed our one nigjt stay very much. Staff was very friendly. Room & bed was nice and comfortable!

The room layout was perfect for our needs. We had a room right by the pool which was super convenient. It was clean and comfortable.

We booked nonsmoking room but when walked in the room, there was a strong smell that someone smoked something there earlier. We also found ants in the dining table. We accepted gift cards the hotel offered.

Check in was difficult. I paid in advance at the time I made my reservation. When I arrived at the property, the desk had my reservation, but not that I had paid. Luckily I had the email from Hotels.com with my receipt showing that I paid. The property had to verify with Hotels.com that I had indeed paid and that took about 15 minutes. During that time, the desk staff were very friendly and customer service focused. The rest of my stay went flawlessly. I would definitely return to this property in the future.

Breakfast arrangement was terrible, the food was over within 30 minutes and when we complained they apologised but didn't offer any resolution. The manager promised to take care by offering a refund credit, but they didn't process it later. Very dishonest.

The fee was exorbitant for Purdue’s graduation weekend and the property was substandard. The room layout was very awkward, for instance the tv blocked the bedroom entrance and the toilet is right up against the paper roll holder on the wall. It’s hard to explain in words, which is why I took pictures and would be happy to share them.

The air conditioner was so loud, no one got any sleep. When I told the front desk, their response was "thank you for telling us.".

Good - we arrived early and they allowed us to checkin early. Bad - early checkin resulted in a downgraded room, no problem but they said they couldn't lower price because we'd reserved with Expedia - even though we hadn't paid yet. Bad - TV in room didn't work until maintenance came to fix it. Bad - burnt out light bulb in room. Bad - extremely low wattage light bulbs in room. Had to use flashlight on cell phone to read stove/coffee maker instructions. Bad - Central AC unit was immediately adjacent to bed. Every time it turned on it sounded like a truck driving through the room. Bad - VERY noisy, both doors slamming and people upstairs. Bad - coffee maker didn't work. Couldn't read instructions to make sure I was using it correctly until I used my cell phone flashlight (see above). When the building says "Hilton" on the sign I expect more. I won't ever be back to a Homewood suites and doubt I'll ever return to a Hilton owned property. We stay in hotels all across the country regularly from 1 star to 5 star. What does it say that any motel 6 in the country would far exceed this hotel. I explained to the front desk clerk that we were leaving to go get breakfast because, after our experience, we simply didn't trust that we could eat without getting sick. Do yourself a favor. Stay so where else.

I paid via Expedia but I was charged two additional times at the front desk. These additional charges were eventually reversed by the morning desk attendant. Also, Expedia messed up my arrival date.

Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained room.

This place was ridiculously LOUD! From the squeak in the couch, the creak in the floors, the walking back-n-forth of upstairs and downstairs neighbors, door slams, buzzing of the bathroom light AND the "heater" kicking on - I say heater loosely because at 72 degrees, it felt like the air conditioner, while 80 is a basic temperature of heat. I was miserable.

Pros: Loved the layout of the suite. Was perfect for our large family and traveling with my parents. Great water pressure and hot water in shower. Cons:Room had many stains on walls and fixtures. A door handle was hanging off and not attached on an interior door. Tables felt grimy and not clean. Hard to keep children from touching all these things. We arrived in the dark and couldn’t see the dog poop EVERYWHERE in the grass. We figured this out after stepping in it and tracing it through our room. Then having to clean floors and shoes. Overall, was an ok stay.
