Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Also amenities in the room were excellent ( they have everything you needed) I really like that deep sleeping kit.
They upgraded our room to nice Jerusalem city view and late check out.
And breakfast was great and so many choices.
I definitely recommend this hotel.

As a family of five, with three children under four years old, two of which with special needs and one baby, we looked for a location that would allow us to concentrate on tending to our children and allow us to rest and enjoy our short vacation with as less worries possible. When we arrived at 15:30 at the hotel, we checked-in and received a room with no elevator access.
When we mentioned that this is not what was mentioned in the hotel’s description and due to the composition of our family it is not acceptable and not possible to stay in a room with no elevator access.
They eventually managed to find us a room that fits our reservation with elevator access, but mentioned that there is no electricity in the room. being worried that my wife is also overwhelmed by tending alone to our children for the long duration of time elapsed during the events described above, I asked the reception manager to give me an update when the electricity problem is expected to be resolved. We waited on the streets, and we did so until after 19:00 with no resolution on the horizon.
we arrived back at the hotel at 19:30 to ask for a refund and travel back home, luckily the electricity issue has been resolved and we could finally check in. Unfortunately, we soon discovered that our bed is broken and was impossible to sleep on. We decided to spare additional torture to our children in moving to another room and depriving them from sleep any longer and slept on the floor.

Everything was good! The service was good, breakfast was good, the entrance is so pretty, it is next to a park and it is close to a lot of things you can walk !

You didnt calculate the taxes in the price.
Furthermore, i realized just at the check in that they calculate the submission in NIS and not in Dollars and in a very highy and exaggerated rate (more than 4 nis per $)! It was much more expensive than i thought.
The receptionist didnt agree to give me the invoice that reflects what i bought - a very needed thing for my business trips.

it was not clearly indicated the swimming pool was under construction, I chose this hotel for that, expedia did not make a commercial gesture, very disappointed by the expedia service which told me to manage it with the hotel

Beautifully renovated hotel, however upon check in we were told that the pool was closed due to construction; there had been no communication prior to our arrival and we had to check out a day earlier and find another hotel with pool for the children.
My complaint to the front desk were ignored and I was told to deal with hotels.com for a refund of the night we did not stay.

First the "not so good": We were a bit surprised that the side coffee area was not cleaned nor replenished but at least we had fresh towels every day.
Now for the good part: Our twice daily visit to the DINING ROOM had to be one of the BEST PARTS OF OUR STAY. The selections and taste of the food, the cleanliness coupled with what seemed like the staff there could not do enough to help us really added to our good memories. The dinning room was the best part of each day of our trip especially ALLI (spelling?) who always made a point of making sure we were well cared for.

I didn’t know what to expect when booking this hotel. We were debating to be in an apartment however we were so happy we came to this hotel. We decided to come for the Israeli breakfast and for the housekeeping you don’t get when renting an apartment. The staff were all amazing, friendly and caring. They were very patient with all of our children who could be wild. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable minus the pillows. They need new fluffy pillows and more than one pillow per person. At least 4 on a queen bed would be nice. We came with a bunch of families-i had a more expensive room however my closet was smaller and had to squish things inside. We dealt with it. A clock would be nice in the room. Breakfast was also pretty good. Thank you Daniella for making our omelets every morning and for the hotel workers making sure we had everything we needed. There is a park straight down the road if you leave from the back end of the hotel(in the direction of the great synagogue opposite side of the hotel and a block over a little hidden).

This is a typical “you get what you pay for” property. It is in a good location and the staff is helpful, but the property itself is tired, walls are super thin and there is not a ton of staff. They are doing some renovations but by bit, but seems like they need a complete overhaul to bring it into the modern era. Breakfast was good. For the price, it was fine.

The hotel felt like a safe haven after the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Great breakfast, great professional gym, great reaction to our request to change rooms. We enjoyed it.

My stay with my family at the King Solomon for 8 nights was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. I am happy we made the right choice for our trip to Jerusalem Israel in December 2022. The hotel lobby and rooms were recently beautifully modernly renovated and the hotel management deserves a high 5 for it.
From check in with Nizar was a breeze... 2 minutes... in and out... very friendly and accommodating to check out also 2 minutes... nothing to do.
Breakfast being welcomed with respect every morning with Ali - at your service. and is there anything I can get you... pick a seat and let me know if you need anything at all... always checking up on us.
To Gabby from Food and Beverage - anything needs to be done - he will do... need a table for Friday night dinner for 6 - last minute... no reservation... just walk right it... and you are welcome with open hands and at your service. Need some special handling or assistance with your stay (out of the normal) - call speak to Moritz the General Manager and he is personally on it - He takes care of it solo - ask him for anything - he does not know how to say "No"... "No" is not part of his vocabulary.
Last and best of all.... Had a tough day or just want somone to talk to... meet Ashraf - He is the most friendliest man in the entire hotel. If you stay here... you fore sure will bump and chill with Ashraf... he is so warm and homy its crazy... he makes you feel at home... you can talk anything with him. I mean anything!!!

Hotel was redone recently so that was good. We had been to this hotel previously in April with a large group for a family affair and had a nice time so decided to come back.
Our room however had a strange mildew odor right outside our door that also permeated the room. We notified the front desk and they tried to mask it - for the most part they did an ok job.
Here was the big issue... We paid additional for the meal on Friday night and Saturday lunch. The lunch was inedible. We picked at a few things but barely ate. I told the front desk it was unacceptable but they refused to refund us. I spoke to the manager who offered a 20 percent discount but I explained again that we barely ate because there was nothing appealing and it's wrong to charge us 80% (over $200!!) when we all we ate was bread and vegetables. Its a shame they ruined our relationship over this because I would never go back now because of this. Like I said we made a party in April and came back now and because of the inexcusable attempt at lunch and the poor customer service handling it they lost our future business.
I've never left a bad review online like this but I'm appalled that a hotel like this couldn't make it right.

We just spent Sukkot at the Hotel and really enjoyed. The food and Sukka was very nice and plentiful. Rooms were clean and nice and Lobby is brand new and nice. Only cons were staff could be a little more helpful and courteous and some of the towels in the room were a little smelly. Overall great trip
