Hostel with private rooms, not a hotel

Loved the rooftop bar

Pros: good sized clean room with comfortable bed and powerful shower. But at the cost I’d expect a lot more as the hotel shares its communal space with a hostel so it’s really downmarket.

Hotel is perfectly located for exploring Ljubljana. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and hotel has helpful amenities such as luggage storage for early arrivals or late flights home. Would recommend staying at Ibis for anyone making Ljubljana their base for exploring Slovenia.

Perfect location- short walk to the train station and Old Town, clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast, great staff, quiet and secure

Affordable, convenient, clean, functional. Check-in was easy and efficient. I find Ibis’s current minimalist room design better suited to one person than two. Great location: close but not too close to museums, the river, and restaurants, and just a couple of blocks from the main bus station. Fairly quiet, even on the weekend.

Good choice, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room (for 2 with a private bathroom) was bid enough and very clean The only improvement is check in time… 3pm is quite late

Ibis Styles is a good choice if you want a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. The bed was very comfortable and the classic room a very good size. Ljubljana is a great place to visit and the hotel is close to the historic centre and the bus and rail stations. We’d stay there again if we come back.

Lovely stay. Room was big and very comfortable. The bed, the chair and the chaise are the best - extremely comfortable. Location is excellent. Close to everything. Walking distance. Love the vibe.

Near the bus terminal and train station. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. The staff are nice and friendly. Free tea is served at the floor of reception. The hotel is not in the old city part,but it’s location is convenient to take the public transport.

Lovely budget hotel and lovely staff. Handy for station and city centre. Quirky too - reception is on the top floor with a pleasant roof bar. Breakfast decent but basic. I’d recommend hotel.

Excellent location, staff quite friendly, very clean hotel. Definitely recommended. The only remark would be the design of the toilets inside the room, there’s a lack of privacy haha. But in general I had a very nice experience.

very nice Ibis Hôtel, with style.

The staff was really nice. The location was very central. We had Room # 601 on the 6th floor and that was a very nice room. Parking is a bit tricky and it is advisable to book a parking spot through the hotel.

Room has defective thermostat acknowledged by the hotel staff but instrad of transferring us to another room, they advised us to wait for the repairman the next day. Had to walk out because the room temp was unbearable and no one at the reception desk by midnight. In short our stay did not materialize.

This hotel was dated, facilities weren’t good just average, location wasn’t good and convenience but the prices not worth it. I was traveling in Europe for 4 weeks in October 2023. I’ve stayed in 6 different hotels in 6 cities. This hotel not worth it to what you pay for.

From the very beginning, staff were super friendly and enthusiastic. The Ibis is combined with a hostel, so it has a bit more life than your typical budget hotel. Room was plenty of space for one. Yes, the toilet/shower situation is kind of odd (the shower opens up straight into the room) so something to think about if you're not that comfortable with your roommate. Great location near the bus/train station and also walking distance to the old town and all the sights. Area around is quiet but it's right opposite a police station. There's a rooftop bar where you can see the castle as well as a kitchen that seems more for hostel use but... nothing to say that the hotel guests can't use it.

The location was perfectly close to the tourist areas and walkable too.

Good overall hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and nice terrace. Easy walking distance to the old town area. Good value.

What I liked the most is its location. Close to bus and train station. Walkable to all attractions.

Ideal. I really appreciated the efficiency of my room. It had everything I needed. Though up-to-date, it's not the most lavish place I've stayed but it was very clean & the rooms were efficient. Location to city center was ideal. I would return here again and again. I was with a group of 8, so the 7th floor lobby was a great gathering area w/ a lot of table seating. You can bring in food and enjoy it here (though they have a nice breakfast buffet), read, enjoy a drink with friends on the adjacent outdoor roof area. I appreciated the free water to fill up my bottle. Staff was so helpful.
