The room was dirty and I asked THREE times for it to be cleaned. They said they would and never did!

Poor overall experience. Exterior area around doorway was dirty and shabby. People smoking on exterior stairs and sidewalks. Room had a bad smell coming from the shower drain like a skunk. Room had black ants. Kitchen floor was dirty. Someone's leftover food was in the fridge. Afraid to touch anything in room due to uncleanliness. No wastebasket in bathroom. No luggage stand. Had to go ask for clean towels.

This property was amazing. We had a two bedroom suite (apartment) and it was clean, and the breakfast was amazing.

Staff would not allow checkin until exactly 3:00 pm despite multiple people waiting in the lobby. Our toilet was broken and there was no hot water. The room smelled extremely musty.

The power kept going out. It was bags with trash by my door.

The room has bad smell and carpet was wet. No room clean service while 3 nights stay. No hair conditioner and body soap. It’s not hotel’s fault but 2 nights group of people staying next and in front of us kept banging doors and taking loud outside till 1:30.

Stay was ruined by another guest’s barking dog. For two of the three days I had booked, that dog barked from morning until 8pm. Reported the issue to the front desk and was told they would handle it. Guess they preferred the barking dog to me. Wound up checking out early and staying my final night at a different hotel. Disappointed.

This place is a split down the middle review.
The positive: location in the area, the ROOMS are updated, modern , comfortable. The breakfast is good and most staff was helpful.
Negative: the hotel itself is old and rundown looking. it does not seem safe. There are always sketchy looking people milling around outside. I felt uncomfortable and stuck in the room due to and You can’t walk from your room to the lobby indoors which is inconvenient because they don’t bring anything to you when they don’t give you supplies they expect you to drag your children thru the dark to walk outside to pick up towels they shorted you to fix their error. Only about 6/10 for cleanliness.

The checkin process was easy, staff was friendly. Cleanliness of the room was not well. No toilet paper, the room was not vacuumed as pills from the previous guest were all on the floor, chairs had food on them and the toilet seat (underneath) was not clean.

Staff was nice. Good location. Bed was really saggy in the middle. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle. Was there 3 nights and no service the entire time. Maybe I had to request service? Not horrible but won't be staying there again

Our stay wasn’t great wasn’t great. Travelled from Toronto for the ballgame and switched from the Doubletree downtown to here, strictly for the pool and it was a wee bit cheaper. After melting all day at the ballgame we came back to a pool loaded with about 25 kids (not sure if they were all staying there but it appeared to be a family reunion or a party) and no room to even get in it. Hopped out and had a shower instead. Our toilet didn’t flush for 2 days and apparently maintenance came but still didn’t. So that wasnt pleasant. The pull out for my son had no sheets and they brought up a sheet and a pillow in the evening for him and there was 1 towel in the bathroom. Called the front desk way too many times. And we couldn’t even be moved as they were sold out. It just wasn’t a very pleasant stay for us.and I was truly regretting changing hotels.

A+ would definitely stay here again. Was not expecting much, just stopping for the night on our way from Virginia to Chicago, but this is one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in recent years & I would definitely stay at this chain again anywhere based on our experience here. Clean, friendly staff, secure, VERY updated room/suite, comfortable bed, great breakfast compared to all other free breakfasts I’ve seen.

Mini-apartment for the price of a hotel room. Everything but a stove, even dishes available to help reduce food cost. Some carpet stains, and usage wear. Nothing too bad though.

I enjoyed the setup of the one bedroom suite, it included a full kitchen with everything needed for your stay.

The room and the grounds were very clean. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the full size bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner mounted on the shower wall. The room had a kitchenette that had everything you needed if you wanted to prepare meals. They even had a grill you could use in the pool patio area. Breakfast they offered had a nice variety of items to choose from. Great value to families to have that instead of going out to eat. Food was hot and replenished frequently to make sure everyone had enough. All the staff members we came in contact with were very friendly. One of my favorite things about this hotel was that even though there were a lot of people staying there the room was very quiet. You could not hear everyone else.

We had booked for 4 adults, but we only got two main Towels and three hand ones?
Also the sofa for bed is so horrible, the mattress is very thin and we felt like sleeping on thin metal rods (was very bad sleep experiene)
