Our stay was horrible!!! The rooms where the patio are-should be torn down and remodeled! My best friend had the nicer rooms in the main building, while I felt we were living at the motel 6 and not a hotel! We could barely breathe in that room and the staff acted like they were doing US a favor with their dry tones and bad attitudes! The next time, we will stick to staying at the Legacy because we were about to do an early check-out and go down the street! There was blood on the wallpaper in the bathroom and that is a violation in itself!

Area looking out (down) from Room 235 was pretty gross. Surprised you don’t have landscapers clean it up periodically.

there was hair that was not mine on the bathroom floor. There was standing water in the tub when we took a shower. The staff did not seem to care when I reported it to the front desk.

I am not sure while I received a survey since I was rebooked at a different hotel which I did not agree with. I wanted to stay at Courtyard but moved to Fairfield which I did not want.

The WiFi was down my entire stay. Ants in my room. The room is by the entrance and I heard every time some one came in and left. Trash and towels only picked up once during my stay.

Arrived, the manager was very helpful at check in. Decided I wanted to stay a couple extra nights and they were able to make it happen, no problem, no room change! Very nice since I initially only had a teo night stay.

Staff are very nice, inside the building is warm, elevator is a little old and there is only one.. the bar was okay .. good drinks but regular bar food nothing exciting .. there is pool but small .. room is clean.. except the toilet is broken and also the master lock is broken as well in our room. overall.. staff is nice, it is clean but the building is a little old and need some fixing.

Our shower was clogged and wasn’t draining we called front desk to report it but no one answered. Also found some used toilet paper on the floor of the room. The pool area seemed much larger on the web which was very misleading the pool was too small for the amount of guest you host and were unable to enjoy the pool and hot tub comfortably. Not sure we would be returning.

We loved the proximity to Old Town. It was super walkable! The hotel was also very affordable. We stay in San Diego often and this is a hotel we would easily stay at again. Excellent front desk staff!

Basic US hotel room nothing too fancy but functional, across the street for places to buy groceries and a few places to eat.
If you need to stay in this specific area it does the job.

Property is clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and the women who checked me was great. Sadly when I returned from attending SD Jazz fest and needed an additional parking pass, unfortunately the girl who checked me in was just leaving. William the night clerk was just starting his shift was a complete jerk, no one else was in the lobby, he took his sweet time I asked if I could just get my pass as was exhausted, he told me he would not help me until I calmed down. No joke he walked away and left me in the lobby, when he returned he told be quit and listen to the parking policy. Please review the video and train your employees on common curtesy. William is very rude!!!

Unbearable air conditioning noise.
We have stayed at this location before with great experiences but this time was problematic.
When got back to the room late at night and after getting ready for bed we turned the ac unit on and it started making an annoying clicking sound. We thought it would be better as it cooled down but never did. The temp was too balmy to be without the ac but after a few hours we couldn't sleep with the noise so we shut it down. It was uncomfortable all night long.

Very comfortable and convenient. Great price and location. Clean, friendly, easy to check in. Nice business area, lobby and Starbucks.

Staff was so nice especially at check in! We went with our daughter and parents and everyone loved it. Food was great, hotel was in a perfect location and easy walking distance to Old Town. Rooms were clean and well designed. Would definitely return.

The property is in a good location but needs a major facelift in the common areas, i.e. elevators and hallways - we were on the third floor. The room was neat and clean, but the bathroom was not modernized, and the shower was not safe for people in their 70.

Very little amenities in room. No clock, no shower cap, no lotion. Construction equipment across the street. Difficult to get into the registration area because of Construction site across the street. Can walk to the trolley and many restaurants.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The only issue was the fridge didn't work.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a bar and Starbucks options downstairs, which was a plus!
Cost of pricing is the real downside. We had an issue with the TV and the manager took care of it, no questions asked.

The staff was great and the property was centrally located to Old Town. The exterior of the property was run down and not clean. The room was worn and cleanliness was fair. Parking was good.
