Management were super lovely and very helpful recommending places to visit and eat at. Great atmosphere around the pool with margaritas and pizza. Great breakfast with hot and cold options. The motel is very central to everything and was an excellent base for travelling around the Katherine region.

This place hosts Territorian style hospitality by the pool most nights. I found their minimal use of air fresheners /cleaning fragrance most pleasing.

We stayed on two occasions, a week apart. The room was large, very clean and had a long desk and a table with four chairs as well as the expected frig and hospitality tray, iron etc. Bathroom worked well. Air conditioning and blackout blinds were efficient. It’s a few blocks from the centre of town in very quiet surroundings. There is a security fence around the motel, guests are emailed a gate access code to use if reception is closed on arrival. We were told that, if no parking space is available, to park on the grass in front of the motel. Motel does offer breakfast for additional charge, we left early and did not sample it. The Katherine Country Club provides a courtesy bus Tuesday-Sunday nights, if they have a driver available.

The motel itself wasn't that bad although the Wi Fi left something a lot to be desired. There was no soap holder in the shower so no place to put the soap or your shampoo. The shower curtain rod fit loosely in the plug on one side so that if you even pushed slightly on the glass wall, the shower curtain fell down. Breakfast was mediocre for the price. The town of Katherine was very disappointing due to high crime in the area and a security fence mentality that made one wonder if the town could see any growth at all. The sole attraction seems to be the Gorge which is 29 km out of town.

The drop in the floor height when coming out of the bathroom is a hazard. There wasnt an exhaust fan in the bathroom either. The kitchen/bbq area was well equipped.

They need to updated there bathrooms in the rooms. But other then that all good

The room is spacious and the staff are friendly. The facility is a bit old and needs updated. We booked two rooms. The fridge door at one room could not be closed and the bed side tables and shower curtain at another room were missing. The staff are apological and gave us a free breakfast.

Friendly owner and staff, very accommodating. Hot water in shower was a hit and miss. Hot on some occasions lukewarm other times.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, and we loved the pool, BBQ and fire pit. The room and furnishing were terribly old and tatty, our room worse than our friends. The beds were decent, however a doona rather than single sheet with blanket (that probably doesn’t get washed to often) would have been nice and more comfortable.

Our room was very comfortable, the pool area was nice. Breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise.

Location is quiet and near the main street. WiFi actually works! I have travelled a lot even during the pandemic and stayed at many abodes but to get WiFi that actually works is a rarity. Large room well laid out with desk, cupboard, table/chairs, fridge, bedside cabinets/lights, iron, wardrobe and comfortable beds/pillows. Great aircon and fan Very quiet no noise transmission from other rooms Great pool and outdoor kitchen with microwave/toaster Reception is super quick and efficient Laundry is convenient with 2 machines and one dryer (free use inc soap powder)

Clean well kept well run Motel, all staff friendly and helpful, staying there was a pleasure,with very good cooked breakfast @ $15 an added atraction, I have no hesitastion reccommending Pine tree Motel as a place to stay in Katherine NT.
