My family and I only stayed 1 night. Our room was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfy. The staff was very courteous and kind and extremely helpful in helping me find my misplaced items. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean spacious efficient hotel

This was my second time staying here; the location can't be beat. It's easy to get to and right on the main street downtown. Everything was clean and organized. The room location was great, very quiet. The front desk attendants were especially welcoming, cheerful, and helpful. Great hospitality, I will definitely return

Great Getaway at The Penn Stroud. Nice being in the heart of downtown Stroudsburg - access to restaurants, bars and other things to do. Nice small town Vibe. Reception staff were friendly and helpful - Clarice was a delight. Room was comfy, cozy and clean - enjoyed the town view. Breakfast was better than expected. I look forward to my return.

Friendly Staff, Clean Room, Plenty of Parking. Close to everything on Main St. Stroudsburg.

The overall aesthetic of the property is welcoming and clean, with free Continental breakfast and pass-tag parking. The room was relatively clean, plenty of towels and pillows, comfortable bedding, good climate control, walk in shower, and large screen TV tech unit with plug in peripherals for laptop, all with a modernized look. However, moderate damage to the wall where thedoor stop broken off, the window metal framing exposed and plaster chipped off, including a hole in the wall near the bed, scuffing on the walls, and a loose toilet seat, demonstrated that inspection and maintenance was lacking and diminished the room as unappealing and devalued the price point paid. The weirdest aspect was that I had to sign a damage agreement prior an inspection for a room already damaged and so I had to be the inspector and officially reported it to the office staff working to avoid problems. Told staff that they were more than welcome to go up at any time and inspect for themselves but nothing came of it. This is NOT what check-in for a traveler should be like if you're making them sign paperwork over paying for "incurring damages." A bit stressful.

The hotel is right in the middle of town. Great restaurants and bars nearby.

Beautifully renovated room with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. In the center of Main Street Stroudsburg, we were minutes from everywhere we wanted to go!

The Penn Stroud was nice - and conveniently located to numerous restaurants. The continental breakfast was pretty bad.

They must have recently redone property. Very nice and clean. Littleunder decorated but nice. Stayed for location. Unfortunately their employee did not register us correctly so for some reason they called me at 344am about it. No idea why u call at 344. Then at 930am while my wife was getting ready housekeeping just walked in to clean room. Then in way out front desk staff iffered to give me late checkout due to waking me up. But we were leaving. Seems like they could do more with property and staff.

The front desk gentleman was awesome! The facility was clean and welcoming. Very cute town with a lot of options for dining and coffee.

Very comfy & clean, had a mini fridge and a shared microwave. The beds were very comfy and my family enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back another day.

Very satisfied with my stay. The rooms were clean especially the bathroom. The elevator smelled good too. I was greeted at the desk by Heaven, and she was very courteous, sweet and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Well maintained

Hotel was very nice and convenient with access to restaurants and the college. My only feedback is that the pillows on the bed were not very good quality. Overall, this is a very nice hotel and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The hotel is very quiet even though it is centrally located within walking distance of stores, restaurants, historic sites and churches. Free parking for all guests was an added bonus. The room is moderately sized and clean. However, the extractor in the bathroom had no regulator and was too noisy, making it difficult for us to sleep. Our room was not cleaned for the entire 3 days even though we requested for cleaning. This was annoying and irritating. It was the lowest point of my vacation.

Great room good service takes a bit to navigate check in and parking but not troublesome Room and facilities clean and well kept. Could use cups for the bathroom online checkout would be a nice addition great location to downtown
