Overall it was fine, but it was advertised as dog friendly and when we got there with a dog (we mentioned in the booking that we would bring a dog) we were charged an extra 20 euros dig fee. Additionally we were not allowed to bring the dog with us to the breakfast area.
The mattresses were uncomfortable.

Stylish lobby area with free coffee and big, cozy and elegant breakfast area. At breakfast I was asked if I would like more coffee. 👍
The door doesn’t automatically lock its self after you. 👍
I did NOT like in room 601:
- Toilet with strong urine smell.
- Minuscule bathroom sink.
- Small closet (not suitable for 2). There is room to build a bigger one.
- Tiny trash cans.
- 12 TV channels …
- Mirror in a small shower cabin. Really???

Clean and spacious room, great breakfast, my family enjoyed the stay here in Oslo. Friendly staff. The only drawback is limited parking spot near the area.

It is a clean hotel. We would be glad to stay there again only one minus is that you would have to walk several blocks to get on the train.

The bed was very comfortable, the location was quiet and as a woman traveling alone I felt very safe. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing: so many options of meats, cheeses, breads, juices, egg dishes, and coffees! The hotel is located across the street from a major bus route that will take you into the city center, or the subway stop is about a 5 minute walk and a 15 minute ride to the city center. The desk reception were very nice, spoke very good English and were very helpful.

Super overpriced. small room - tiny shower. no amenities - no clock. no quick button for front desk - you have to dial out. staff was really nice and building was kept up. housekeeping only put new towels in my room. never cleaned it fully in a 3 nite stay.

Good breakfast and decent facilities. Hotel is made up of an older block (with the restaurant) and a newer block (with fitness facilities) across a road.

This hotel is nice, we sleep very well and the staff very understanding when we do not speak much English

Absolutely recommended. I stayed 4 nights and 5 days and I found the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got an upgrade to a bigger room for free. When I had to use the microwave in the hotel kitchen, the waitress warmed it for me and even gave me a plate and a utensil. The breakfast was good and delicious. The bed was comfortable and everything especially the washroom was kept clean and neat. Although there were construction sites nearby, it wasn't bothering me at all when I came back to the hotel in the evening time. Little bit far from the city center but only takes 20-30 mins by metro.

Basic room, super small, hardly any space for luggage. Twin bed is small and light. There are several hotel buildings so may need to cross the street for breakfast. Very crowded breakfast room but food was good nonetheless.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is top notch with a lot of variety. Very close to Metro station and bus station. These options provide easy access to the downtown area (Metro) and the airport (bus). I highly recommend this hotel.

it was a nice hotel away from city , close to the train station that goes to the city. Room was lovely though the carpet looked a bit grey.Liked the Nespresso coffee and the breakfast.

The hotel staff couldn’t find our booking from Expedia when we tried to check in, but they delivered great service and did their best to give us a room, even if they were fullbooked. Luckily someone called in and cancelled their booking, so we got their room. The staff gave us a beer on the house while we waited for a solution, and were really service minded.

Everything else was perfect apart from the fact that hotel staff did not give clear enough directions regarding parking (the garage was all full and so were the streetside parking). We ended up parking in a residential area and got a bill for 800sek parking fee for one night. This came as a really huge shock because we chose Thon Hotel for the free parking and look what happened. The hotel staff could have given more specific directions on where to park or where NOT to park seeing as we are foreigners and cannot read their language.
