It was a good stay but I would advise to better train non Japanese staff in Japanese language skills, standards of culturally acceptable service provision and attitudes, and familiarity in Japan, neighborhoods and social norms.

It was so welcoming and all the Christmas decoration made this hotel so very cozy. I wanted to sit by every Christmas tree and the lobby was so warm and inviting!! Walking was not fun but the view and everything else was AMAZING!!

Convenient for airport shuttle bus & near Shinjuku station.

Hotels location is far away from Shinjuku station. Staffs are cool face without passion, not helpful & polite. Baggage storage is not safe. Smelly in room and found pube on bed.

We booked 3 twin rooms at Washington Hotel Main for one nite stay. Reception staff helped with the check in which was a mix of manual and online. Room was decent size but the room I was assigned had black marks/stains on the walls which make it unpleasant to the eyes. The other 2 rooms were clean. Opted for breakfast package and there were 3 restaurants to choose. Reception is on 3rd floor but there were restaurants and mini mart on Basement 1 and a pharmacy next to the hotel. Need to walk about 12 to 15 mins to the Shinjuku Train Station and main shopping area. The limo bus to Narita and Haneda Airports is outside the hotel so that is a big plus. Also lots of self-managed locked luggage storage for those whose flights are way after check out time.

Airport bus stop & convenient for arrival & departure without rolling the luggage that make less hustle.

The hotel has a very good location in Shinjuku. Good breakfast with a view from the 25th floor. Would definitely stay again.

Bathroom floor is high. I hear neighbor stayers bang wall as I did just to open luggage or hang jackets. But room was clean, bed was comfortable. I had a nice day light from window. Hotel employees were nice and helped me a lot. Thank you.

Very cramped room and can only open the suitcase in the corridor . I think it is difficult for two persons sharing a room . The shower is a bit strange , very big for the small tub . It fells easily . Bed is comfort. I like the concept of getting extra pillow from the rack in each floor . Mostly self service so not much staff interaction. Quite a motel style.

We had a good stay. The reception staff were very helpful especially with luggage service.

When I went to fill the bath water, I saw what looked like small brown debris floating in the water.

Amazing stay! The hotel is close to everything. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended.

Room was clean when we arrived. Beddings we’re good and bed is comfortable. We liked the amenities provided like facial wash/lotion…. We stayed for 3 days and did not request the room to be cleaned. On the 2nd day, the bathroom smells bad already; we did not bother asking as have 1 day to go. I would suggest travellers to have the room cleaned everyday if they wish to stay longer.

Convenient & comfortable stay. No frills good value for money. Room size (ours was standard twin room) is reasonable by Tokyo standard and if you are lucky getting the higher floor the room is slightly bigger.

It is a business hotel. Since it is not a western brand, the room is smaller with interesting window size, square and small. It is clean. There is a direct underground link between hotel and Shinjuku main train station. However, it is not easy to find form the station as it is massive. It is located near business and city hall so not much commercial or dining option. However, it is only 10 minutes walk to the main hub.
