we loved the property and the proximity to the lake, which was very close. The restaurant in the hotel was really good and we love the bartender, dale. Room was roomy and clean with a nice kitchenette. Also, they were activities. Scheduled regularly for adults and children. There was a pool, hot tub, and workout room. I really good place to stay. Looks like there’s a network issue

I loved that it was surrounded by restaurants to accommodate all food preferences and the lake behind the resort is beautiful! There’s plenty to do onsite and offsite.

Check in was chaotic. They couldn't find both of my rooms, and overall check-in time took about 45 minutes and two trip to the front desk. I am looking for my receipt for one of my rooms which I do not have. Before my stay, no one could tell me if the kitchen had a toaster. The pillows were worn and not comfortable. The pullout couch mattress was horrible. A K cup coffee machine would have been preferred.

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel. Received a text after arriving indicating no house keeping. Another for closed hotel amenities (indoor / outdoor pools, etc.) The staff were mostly non-attentive (except the concierge who was very friendly). No self-parking so another $27 x 3 for valet. Beds were comfy and location is good but would not stay here again.

Good location near whole food and right next to the lake. Nice swimming pool and sauna room. Free laundry on the same floor.

Nice place, reasonable rates

Excellent resort! Rooms were clean they had free washers and dryers and even their own free Redbox style dvd rental. On top of all that there are a ton of came ties including easy beach access and a great pool area

Hilton Vacation Club provided a great experience. Staff was always readily available to help us out. Communication was clear so we knew everything we needed for our stay.

Rooms felt very clean beds were very comfortable. Our room came with a kitchenette was fully stocked.

I love this property. Just a wonderful experience all around.

The room was comfortable (1 bedr suite), the bath was large, shower large, kitchen good. There were minor repairs needed (rip in carpet) and the dishwasher was awful. It cleaned nothing. No recycling. No throw blanket or pillows for the couch and chair. Dining chairs were too low for the table but we used pillows from the bedroom. Hotel layout was so confusing, we just went in and out from the parking lot door near our room. Saw a bear in the garbage enclosure. Excellent coffee shop across the street - highly recommend them. Isabella's is a great italian restaurant nearby.

I didn't like the location, very noisy area. The worst is the closest beach, very dirty. One more thing, the fan in the room is so loud, it wakes me up every time it s on, did not get a good night sleep. I think that was the worst part. I did expect a more relaxing stay, as i am used to in lake tahoe, But this location was not the best for me. Btw, When i booked the stay, i was given this address at 4100 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA, 96150 But on last email confirmation , the address was 901 Ski Run Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, United States of America, 96150 So when i arrived, i was confused. Another thing, the valet only parking was not my favorite, even though they bring the car when asked… but i don’t have that freedom like home. This place didn’t feel home for me. I don’t think i will come back there again

Improvements - Valet parking is a hassle. We missed dinner reservation as it takes 15 minutes to retrieve the vehicle from a neighboring parking lot. Instead provide self-parking onsite. Hampton Inn for example has self parking at $15 per day. Room doors - provide door stops in each room. My toes hit against the main door trying to get luggage through to my room. Discount on para sailing at neighboring Ski Run did not apply when trying to use it with mountain cash, though we were told it would work.

Had to valet because no other parking option so would’ve been nice to know up front. Also WiFi didn’t work the first night and spotty a few nights after. Whirlpool is too small and busy for the size of the property. Otherwise the place was pretty good.

Didn’t see it was valet only until I got the email confirming my stay and couldn’t get refund or change at that point. So forced to tack on another $27 and $200 deposit on top of everything when you check in wasn’t stated in booking either which would of been nice to know, not that I was doing anything but sleeping in the room. Bed was a little hard and not that comfortable. Room could have used a little better cleaning in a few areas and the tv wasn’t very user friendly and just stopped working (no signal) for about 5 minutes in the middle of watching something. Literally everything you do is an extra $26 including using the WiFi and game room. Felt like I was being fee’d to death for a place that wasn’t worth the price of the room.

The hotel was nicely kept and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and enjoyed our time together at this beautiful hotel.

Nice to have a BBQ available. Did NOT like being hit with hard sell approach upon walking in the door. Facility is dated and somewhat run down. Very unclear that valet daily rate was mandatory. Talked to several others that were upset as well. Valet staff was phenomenal! They were constantly busy and deserved every tip. I would not recommend staying at this property. Would also never consider buying a timeshare. I prefer to go on vacation and NOT to be bothered with sales pitch. There are LOTS of other very nice places to stay.

It was a surprise for me an additional $32 as hotel fee. Plus the $27 for valet parking, my other option was to look around for myself on the streets. It is sad the hotel do not have parking spaces for it’s customers.

I had booked through Expedia as they had a better price than booking directly through Hilton. At time of booking there was no fee for self parking, but when we arrived, we were informed that the only parking option was valet at $27 per day. We were given room on first floor beside my request for upper floor. Room was in need of serious remodel, furniture scuffed, scratched, generally worn. Dark walls made room feel dark and small window opening onto parking forced us to keep curtains closed when we were in room. Overall, property needs extensive renovation as it is very dated. We did not eat on site; didn’t expect much based on our experience with the room.

The trip was amazing. Weather was perfect and the resort location was great.

If it were'nt for the parking, I would give this hotel a positive review. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean. The parking was terrible. They only have valet parking for 27bucks a pop every time you leave and come back. So, you have to pay 27 bucks and wait for the valet to get your car instead of just being able to walk to an on site parking lot and getting in your car and going. Totally deplorable and subpar situation.

Check in time wad 4 pm. We arrived 15 min early and we were told our room was not ready and stearnly told that check in wasn't until 4 pm. They said they would text us when the room was ready. We wentback at 430 as no text received. They then got us in but made us listen to the time share guy. We had just got done hiking and had dinner reservations for 5 pm. Very stressful. Not likely to stay again.

Room very dated and not super clean. Toaster broken, serious fire hazard. Not convenient to have to wait in line with people checking in to get towels for the pool. TV not working but engineer did come to fix it.

Great location in South Tahoe! Right by the lake and restaurants etc. Easy in and out and close to all activities!

We had a studio with a kitchenette. The kitchenette is extremely small and not really very convenient to cook a decent meal. There is no dishwasher and the sink is too small. The hotel forced us to use valet parking which was additional expense on top of the already expensive property!! And they let us know about the valet parking being the only option 2 days before check in! Terrible!!

We were charged for valet parking at check in. We were told there was no other option. We were not told this when we booked. The front desk attendant offered to let us speak to the manager. We said we would like to. The attendant walked in and out of the manager office in 10 seconds and said that we have to pay the fee . The manager would not even come out to speak with us. Worst service ever! The room was 80 degrees when we got in it. It took hours to cool down! Never again! I will tell everyone.

Great spot and convenient to restaurants, shopping and a small beach. Will look to stay here again if/when I go to Tahoe again! Also loved the “Welcome Home” greeting

It was to much money and then 200 hundred dollars deposit and pay for parking,
