High quality establishment a little off the beaten track . Good parking and very restful place . Comfortable rooms and great breakfast !

Self-serve check in very good. Room: Smelled damp (reported), pop up washbasin plug broken - not noticed until plug inserted and it took us at least 10 minutes to extract it using whatever tools we had to hand. When reported: "we know about it; it's being fixed today". No tea or coffee making facilities (the others did). Breakfast good.

Reasonable cost hotel in a very small town with few ameneties. Polite helpful staff and rooms that are functional. Common areas are a bit grubby. Good evening meal and breakfast.

Used this place previously but the staff were definitely not up to offer a service. Paid the bill by credit card but the machine jammed and had to enter details again. Result? Duplicate charge! Had to contact Halifax to get the refund sorted which meant a wait of 45 days Most definitely will never stay again. Beware is all I can say

this hotel is very clean and everything in excellent condition.

Very clean, we had a large double room, good selection of (mostly German) TV programs, free Wifi, good breakfast, friendly staff, dog friendly, very reasonable price.

This was just a stop over at the end of our holiday before catching flights home. Hotel was fairly old & pockey in need of a refurb. Some sheets had holes in them. Attic room was pleasant though, with big skylights. Very narrow stairwell to get to it though - difficult to navigate with big suitcase. WiFi ok, but a bit variable in performance. Huge bathroom. Village didn't have much to offer.

Well located, check over a wall phone due to Public Holiday but worked ok. Nice room, comfy bed, hot water. Nice enough breakfast but coffee machine broke so no points for that. Would rather see pots of proper coffee and hot milk than silly modern coffee machine which didn't work.

We have booked hotel one day earlier and it was fortunately enought. Room was opposite the reception - in a different building. It was clean, big, well equipped.

Needed a cheap place to stay en route to Czech Republic. Picked this one as we would be coming in late and just wanted to eat and sleep. This hotel had a good restaurant from the other reviews. Arrived at 6pm and reception was closed. Had to self check-in in the driveway next door which was a bit confusing. Purchased 3 rooms and requested they be inter-connecting or at least near each other on the same floor but they were on different floors and different buildings. Spoke on the "Bat Phone" to the mystery person answering and resolved problem. Rooms were surprisingly large, clean and comfortable. It was a Saturday night and we thought we would eat at the hotel restaurant but surprise surprise it is closed Saturday?? Go figure. Found a lovely Italian restaurant around the corner and highly recommend it. Breakfast was OK but you had to beat off the hoards of people.

I had to stay overnight and after reading some reviewes I picked this hotel. I ordered a single room and to my surprise I stayed in a room for 4 (at first I was a bit shocked and puzzled whether I had chosen single bed or single room). The room was clean, ok looking and excellent value for one night stay.

Hotel was an excellent overnight stopover.large bathroom and bedroom.We already knew the reception staff would not be present after 6pm on arrival....so no problem. Keys to room in a well lit display box. Good breakfast with local produce.

We wanted an overnight hotel just off the motorway, and for that it was great. However, we arrived on Sunday afternoon and everything was closed. Not even the reception was manned. We took a key with our name on it from a box. Nothing was open, had to ask a passing stranger where to find food and was directed to a small village 4 km away.Breakfast was good and set us on our way.

My visit to Hotel Sonne was simply as an "over-night stop" during a long drive from The Netherlands to Italy. Everything about my visit was good, the late evening arrival (no problems), the room (large, clean, comfortable), the breakfast (huge choice, hot buffet), the price (very good), and good dinner in a bar/restaurant nearby. Recommended.
