We always love staying at the Dagny. They certainly dress if up for Christmas. Everything looked beautiful. The staff is always amazing and very attentive. They got us all into the Christmas spirit. We will definitely be back for my birthday again next year.

The Dagney was an incredible stay. Easy walking distance to so much of Boston, the staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel is clean and updated, both restaurant and coffee shop were great. Room was comfortable, everything was clean. And most importantly it was still affordable.

The Dagny was perfect - you've got a room to relax, a coffee shop, and a restaurant right in the hotel, all of which were decorated for Christmas. And the location was perfect for exploring Boston.

Thought the decor was nice and everyone was friendly. However, it wasn’t very clean when I arrived—black hairs on the floor and sink, and part of the sink counter hadn’t been wiped down. I was generally surprised to learn it was recently renovated, as there were scuffs everywhere. Walls, countertops, shower floor, etc. Just seems like it has a lot of wear for a 2023 reno. All in all would stay again but consider it a 4/5.

Always a great stay. Starts with friendly, personable valet who smile and welcome you while assisting with luggage. These guys are great with directions and tips in restaurants, sights, and most anything you want to know during your stay.
Check-in easy and quick. Staff offers information on amenities and currently a discount card for restaurant/and Tradesman coffee shop. (Definitely stop by coffee and pastries/breakfast sandwiches- fresh and superbly tasty)!
Rooms are clean with mini fridge, coffee maker, blackout shades. Beds cozy comfy with plenty of pillows. Shower pressure and sundries relaxing.
Have stayed here multiple times with family and friends, summer, fall, and winter- excellent location. Able to walk to Seaport, North End, Faneuil Hall, MGH, beacon Hill, Downtown Crossing -& more.
Prices comparable and often lower-
This is luxury and convenience in one!
Only downside: need a loyalty program.

From the moment we arrived everyone was very attentive and courteous. In fact our flight arrived early and our rooms were immediately available, which allowed us to go to Salem with our things set in our rooms. Upon our arrival I lost my ring, and realized it in Salem a few hours laters. When i called they immediately went to the area i thought I might have dropped it, they placed me on hold and came back to tell me they found it! We had 2 rooms and they nicely offered connecting rooms which was a plus for our family. The concierge for nearby directions to trains, restaurants was outstanding. They facilitated all of needs pleasantly. On our way Ed was amazing as he supported us in finding a taxi! Would definitely come back, the location was perfect!

Great location. We got the hotel at a low price but rooms there go for $600 a night.
Staff was great especially Lotfi in the front desk.
Even Santa Claus was there for pictures on Sunday night when we returned from the hockey game.
I would definitely go back there again.

The stay was amazing. The location was perfect. The hotel service staff were awesome. The food in the restaurant and coffee shop was really good.

The staff was so friendly, the gym was great, room was comfy and a short walk to the North End for a delicious Italian dinner. Nice bar in the lobby for a nightcap. Everything we wanted for our last night in New England before flying home.

As far as location it was great! The beds were hard, no water pressure in the shower, the TV was in and out of service, the lighting in the room is very dim, the bathroom has no exhaust fan, and you can hear hallway traffic.

We love to come into Boston and stay at the Dagny, which happens to be near our favorite pub and within walking distance to the seaport, Quincy Market and the north-end. Service is always friendly and accomodating. The doorman Chris O'Brien is wonderful, personable and very professional.

Phenomenal experience. The room was so clean and spacious. Hotel staff was kind and accommodating. The restaurant and coffee shop on the property were fantastic, my kids still talk about it. We had such a wonderful two night stay that we added a third night. The Dagny went above and beyond our expectations and the location was perfect for all of our vacation needs.

The only two complaints I have are 1) the daily incidentals charge of nearly $30 for the use of their WiFi, fitness center, and credit at the restaurant and cafe etc. It was not made clear to me during booking or checkin that these charges would be added.
2) At no fault of the hotel staff directly, right directly in front of the hotel was a large collection of sports cars (greater than 20) that continued to rev their engines, squeal their tires, and race up and down the street for hours. By 10pm I called the front desk to see if there was an end time to the noise. They told me by midnight it would be over. It wasn’t. Around 2:00am the noise was still so loud that it woke me again. I’m not sure if this is a common thing on that street but it was not conducive to good sleep.

We stayed here after a Canadian cruise. The property was beautiful, very walkable to major attractions and restaurants. The doorman and bellhop were so helpful and friendly.most importantly the bed and pillows were very comfortable and appreciated after a long day of sightseeing

Nice hotel (former Hilton), great coffee shop downstairs and nice hotel restaurant. 15 min walk to North End, 10 to Faneuil Hall, 5 to The Common. Comfy bed, quiet (internal) room. 703.

Overall the Dagny was good. The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean but the first day I put the bar soap in the shower and never got a replacement for use at the sink. My room wasn’t cleaned one day. Also, there were issues with the TV. Paid for a room with a city view but received a view of AC stacks/vents and a brick wall. Would definitely recommend booking a standard room and saving an extra $30 per night by not upgrading to a superior. Not worth an average of $500 per night.

The hotel is large, not a boutique! Room layout odd with large open area but very tight on sides of bed. World's smallest fridge and sporadic TV service. Restaurant nice but coffee shop too small and overpriced and VERY noisy. Nice bathroom with good shower.
