Nice property in great location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast should be offered free of charge, as it is simple and basic. Many other hotels offer more extravagant breakfasts included with the room. Also, diamond member perks are virtually non-existent at this location- meager daily spending allotment, no free parking, etc.

I enjoy my stay at the Hilton. Everything was pleasant, except for the elevator. Also, hot breakfast was unavailable and why is there a $15 fee?

Great location. Walking distance to lots of restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was also really clean and good for a quick start to the day.

Great staff great hotel for the value. Parking is a little tough when your driving a chevy 2500. Overall a good experience as long as you dont mind trains, which was no problem for me.

Spacious rooms

The hotel is old, mildew in the shower, “broken” hot breakfast, elevators with metal scrapping and expensive parking. Even at the price, there are better places in Davis

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was awesome next to restaurants and bars around downtown Davis. Quick 8 minute walk to Farmers Market. G-Street bars were around the corner. Movie theater across the street. Two issues: 1. The elevator was in need of maintenance. I was unable to access my floor without significant force pushing the elevator button. I can see this being a serious problem for some guests. 2. Our room did not have blackout shades. We had a garden view room during the summer. At 6am the sun was up and blasting our room with sunlight. This was fine for me, but my teenager was very upset. We expected a Hilton to have blackout shades in the rooms.

Location

We always stay here when we visit Davis. First time we had trains passing by enough to disturb our sleep. We were in a room above the carport that faces the tracks. Still not a bad room because of the train. I find trains soothing at times. The hotels breakfast is overpriced. They serve what other hotels consider a continental breakfast for $15.00. Still saved us from having to get breakfast before we hit the road. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Hilton is my favorite home away from home, the staff at this establishment is second to none. Ally, Q, Emily, and I apologize for not getting the name of the Asian female staff and the brunette I saw around breakfast. Each of these individuals made my stay here a pleasant one. The room was spacious, breakfast was great, ideal location. My son just got accepted to UC Davis, if he decided to come here, these girls will see a lot of me in the next four years. Thanks again for all your hospitality and wonderful accommodation.

I am 72 years old and traveling alone. Purpose of the visit to Dave is to spend time with my son and his family. I was in this building in 2018 and it has undergone considerable wonderful renovation since I was last here. It’s clean, bright, modern. A wonderful location for access to downtown Davis. Nice quiet room with a great shower

Front desk staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. Service is really good. Hotel is at good location. But the conditions of the room and public area are getting old. The hotel prices for hotels in Davis CA are out of proportion for their 2 to 3- star ratings.

Our go to Davis spot! Love the access to campus and downtown. Parking is easy.

The continental breakfast was not availble without notice.

Shower was very cold. They said they are trying to get a plumber, so they knew! Very cheap blanket, not comfortable and cozy, very light Way overpriced for what u get

The staff were very kind and attentive. The elevator stopped on us 4 different times either not moving or the doors not opening. Unfortunately I had planned a mom's weekend so had a lot of stuff to bring up and down so had to continue to use it eventhough I was not sure i was going to be able to get out. Caused some stress to all occupants. The rug in our room was filthy and actually made my feet and shoes black and sticky on the bottom. Pretty gross:( Silly thing but if you are going to offer free coffee you should provide real creamer. That stuff does not even need to be refrigerated so not a big deal. Powdered milk is disusting.

The hotel is little old but the location is very convenient also I think most of the hotels in the area has the similar condition.

Breakfast was pathetic

Paper cups in room were not microwaveable. I found this out when I tried to microwave one in the edge of the cup burned. Food was terrible. They used to have a very nice selection where they would cook to order your omelette or eggs. Now it looks like it’s powder eggs that are just lukewarm. There were not enough towels in the room For a two day stay. The Body Soap in the shower was broken off the base. Items like that should be repaired immediately. The people at the front desk, where obviously not well trained and new. They had more focus on their computer than welcoming. Not paying attention to the customer and not asking to help the customer upon arrival. The parking charge was not something that we were used to. Especially when there were not enough parking spaces and parking spaces used by massage envy were not used after 5 PM. We have been going there for eight years and we never experience a lack of parking or charge for it. We also used to have more kind of “host “services. For instance, if you wanted a real glass, even during the pandemic, they would bring you wine, glasses, and water glasses real ones. Also, there were not enough lights in the room. I don’t know if this is a California law requirement, but it was awfully dark and dingy. Upon arrival, there was a message light blinking. When I called the front desk, they said they did not know how to clear it off. There was no message. I have been going to hotels for 40 years… Others Turned off the light.

Nice area.

There is a train very close by that starts blowing its horn around 4AM. Bring earplugs, get an even numbered room (odd numbers are street side). Shower had significant mold along door frame. Other than that the room was clean, the exercise room was in top condition, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location can’t be beat. Walkable to shops and restaurants, and UC Davis.

The train horn is a bit disturbing. Mostly the loud horn at 5am. They over charge for the dog. $50

Rooms and hallways were very run down and there were holes in the bed linen and scuff marks on the walls etc

The property is run down and the rooms are banged up and scuffed It used to be very nice but they need to upgrade it A room at more than $240 needs to in better condition
