Love this hotel and all of the extra details. Happy hour with food and drinks included daily. Rooms are super cute and comfortable. I would have preferred a light blanket, at first it felt like housekeeping missed a step with only a sheet on the bed - but guess this is normal for this hotel. I like a cozy sleep - but it was comfortable. We would stay here again.

The whole atmosphere of the hotel was tranquil and inviting. A beautiful hotel and the best staff ever, so welcoming, efficient but friendly and happy. So enjoyed my stay, a definite 10/10 , and can't recommend staying at Hotel David more highly.

This hotel has Italian charm and poise. From arrival to departure it was great. Staff are friendly and willing to assist. I would stay again! And I would recommend to a friend.

Loved the location

We loved our stay at Hotel David. Great rooms, great help at the desk with information, tickets for the bus and tours and called a taxis for us. Everything was close for us to get to. Breakfast was wonderful and evening reception was so pleasant. Would stay there again.

This was our second time staying here and it was as wonderful as we remembered. It is such a charming and quaint spot. We loved our room, everything was very clean, the front desk service was extremely helpful, and the ambiance cannot be beat. We loved the drink bar and filling up our water bottles with ice and water before we headed out every day. Breakfast was delicious and we would definitely stay here again, if we are lucky enough to have the chance.

This is a superb hotel with many nice amenities and was a lovely oasis in Florence. It has a nice garden, breakfast was wonderful and the staff extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

It was a home at one time and it still feels like it. They provide much during our stay and we took advantage of some of it. We were on the main floor with a short notice check in. We enjoyed the other guests and staff. Very comfortable and a nice walk to the sites. We gave it 5 stars and may stay there again

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel David. Our room was spacious and clean--check in was easy and efficient. The hotel offered many delicious breakfast options including fresh pastries and bread as well as eggs, bacon, cheese and cold cuts. The coffee options were also very good and the lady working in the breakfast room every morning was extremely helpful and accommodating. In the evening, the hotel has a complimentary outdoor light appetizers, beer, and wine. Everything was done quite well and we enjoyed our stay. Be aware that the property lies about a 30 minute walk from the center of town and the major sights in Florence. We walked into town along the river for exercise, but guests may purchase a bus ticket or order a taxi from the front reception desk. Also, note that Florence has many mosquitoes and if you leave your windows open, they will enter and take advantage, but this is a reflection of the local area, not so much the hotel. We give this hotel the highest recommendation!

It is great to be able to park onsite. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony Howevet the locaton is not convenient...quite far oit of center. Nice happy hoir offset by an odd breakfast "room" which requires one to take stairs to sit in the garden

The Hotel David is a great place to stay. My husband and I arrived much earlier than anticipated for our reservation. The staff was very kind and thoughtful, and stored our luggage and gave us a map to explore the city. Our luggage was waiting in our room when we got back. The room was very clean and had a nice balcony to sit and relax. We went to the happy hour, which was held on the lovely patio. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Great staff, great breakfast, really nice place away from noise of central Florence.

Hotel was excellent. Felt like home. WiFi. Happy hour. Pop and water. The only downfall is that it’s a little bit of a walk from the action. If you don’t mind a 20 minute stroll then this is the spot for you!

Our room was on the first floor and it was so quiet, we needed the rest. It was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful and the Happy Hour was a lovely way to end a busy day. We loved the location, a relatively calm neighborhood, but close to bus stop. Hotel David was our favorite hotel in our trip to Italy.

The courtesy and care that we experienced during our stay in this charming, down to earth unpretentious hotel made our visit memorable. It’s a beautiful stylish place that echoed with the spirit of Europeans doing Grand Tours 150 years ago. There’s a lounge with books. Drinks are available. Happy hour is from 6:30-8:00. You can gather with other guests or not depending on your state of exhaustion after a day in Florence. It’s a green hotel in the best low key sense with several touches to save water and energy that will make everyone think twice about their environmental impact. The touches add to the experience of staying at the Hotel David - a thoughtful and welcoming place.

Loved the ambiance- old Italian style. Interesting artifacts about the hotel. Staff really helpful. Not far from downtown.

Well maintained but kept old building and room's charm. Helpful staff, all the amenities you will need. About 25 mins walk to downtown, or taxi, bus right outside the door.

Best breakfast we had our entire time in Italy. Absolutely fantastic. Our room was so quaint, comfy and clean. All the employees are kind and helpful. Not super close to historic Florence but we could easily walk to it in about 15 mins. A beautiful walk along the river so we didn’t mind it. The hotel was very safe and I would definitely stay here again.
