It was fine.. no problems at all.. that is my spot at when ever I arrive in Talladega

We located a LIVE AMMUNITION BULLET IN DRAWER BELOW MICROWAVE & Could not feel SAFE the Entire evening Could not leave as it was already late, Going to proceed with this incident. To SAFETY and REIMBURSEMENT

The owner was nice and tried to be accommodating but the lady was very blah. Also my sheets had stains in them and a roach was crawling actoss my wall.

We stay here a couple times a year when we're in town to see family. Every time its clean and we obviously stay again. Our only complaint is that the beds absolutely suck on our old backs lol

It was close to where we needed to be.

Very outdated. Smelled like mildew. Toilet was not in good shape and had “collected” debris in the screws that connected the seat. Carpet and bedspread need to be changed out. I had to wipe down the remote to touch it. The front desk man was very sweet and nice.

It was good but a/c was either cold cold or hot

This hotel has a very convenient location. The check in and out was very quick. The room was surface cleaned. Horrible bathroom sink. Bugs in my room. The floor was so dirty, my feet turned black after walking around. Most importantly, the room next to me had a fight going on. I was more frightened than I've ever been in a hotel. When I reported it to the front desk, I was blown off. This seems to be a location for workers coming through town and local riff-raff. Pass this one up.

This establishment advertised alarm clocks coffee pots in the rooms they also advertised breakfast which they had a couple of old looking little debbie honey buns and a few bananas that was it that is complete false advertised then i mistaken ly took my shoes off my socks were ruined immediately they turned black .

Chemicals were way to strong place needs a facelift very run down. Staff was great

The door to Our room would not lock!!!! Don't know when the last time carpet was cleaned?? If I walked barefoot in room, the bottom of My feet were like I had been walking on dirt road. Other than that We overall were pleased with Our stay.

The room was picked by ratings and amenities and paid a high price first had to clean the toilet seat upon arrival it was filthy there was no alarm clock or coffee maker as stated in the advertising they also advertised continental breakfast that was also false this a Wyndham property and was very disappointing also they had the worse cable television that is possible never again shall i stay at a Wyndham property second time without so much as a apology sad very sad .

Nice place to stay. The room could have been a little cleaner. Bathroom sink stopper didn't work and was zip-tied open. The door didn't auto-close. No coffee in the rooms and "breakfast" was only honeybuns (possibly Little Debbie's), coffee, and really bad orange juice.

For as old as the hotel was it wasn’t luxurious or anything but it was clean ,comfortable and Great Location

Was very clean.. the rate is affordable.. very peaceful.. would definitely stay there again

It was dirty and stinky

The room I was in needed some love. It was a handicap room and the shower was not amputee friendly. The shower floor was not clean and the shower curtain was dingy, the sheets had old stains, they were clean but creepy at the same time. The desk chair arm was duck taped. Just ick!

Room and property were dirty and breakfast wasn’t not served

Property is old and needs renovations. It said free breakfast but they only offer coffee

We only stayed one night, the room definitely needs to be deep cleaned, the floors are filthy. The listing says it includes breakfast, which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel. There was nothing but a broken microwave. My family (2 adults, 3 kids 2,8,10) went to bed early (8:30ish) because we were tired from our travels only to be woken around 10:30 with loud banging on our door. The manager confronted my husband saying that there was a complaint about loud noises coming from our room. He told him we had been asleep and that the only thing we heard was the noise from above us. Instead of apologizing for waking us he just walked towards the upstairs.

If you’re looking for a room, just to shower and sleep in on the cheap…this is for you.

No coffee maker!

This is a very good option for going to the races at Talladega Super Speedway. It was clean and well maintained - I would definitely stay again; in fact, I plan on it and will tell my family and friends the same.

We stay here 1-2 times a year when visiting family. Its not bad, but it isn't the Holiday Inn. It is showing its age, but the staff are nice. Our only complaint this time was the air freshener in the room was SO strong... I finally found it and unplugged it. The bathroom floor was also sticky. The bed is incredibly soft and probably would have been comfortable, but we're old with bad backs and need a little firmness.

The room was dirty and had a smell. It was very outdated. Very disappointed and we actually cut our vacation short because we didn't want to stay another night in the room.

We came traveling through and just needed a place to sleep for the night. The room had a strong smell of Carpet fresh. The worst part was the pad underneath one of the beds had hair stuck all in it and a blood stain. We immediately ripped it off and threw it in the corner. I didn’t have it in me ti check the other one. But this place is in dire need of some upgrades and better cleaning.

Cleanliness is a big thing! It was dirty, especially the old carpet that stained your socks and the bottom of your shoes. It was sticky wet and had a odor! If you have children the first thing they do, take off shoes and socks and play around! That’s when we noticed the BLACK feet!

only in town for the race and the room was just right for us to rest over night

A dated property in poor condition. While day-to-day housekeeping cleaning (tub, sink, vacuuming, etc.) was fine, the furniture was stained, the walls were dirty, the fixtures in poor repair…I could go on. Even the door was bad. There was a gap ALL THE WAY AROUND IT!!! The gap was so big I’m pretty sure I could have leaned on the door and opened it even when locked. Breakfast was serviceable coffee, bananas and one of the poorest excuses for a pastry I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately we were there for a major event and all other area places were booked. Next time I visit the area, I will stay elsewhere even if it means driving an extra 30-60 minutes. Oh, and I didn’t even mention the wasps!

Room was clean, no problems. As others have stated, there is no free breakfast even though listing says so.
