The bathroom door didn't close
So it pretty awkward doing your buisness. Also no ventilation fan in the bathroom. So the door doesnt close and no fan; god forbid if both of have to go number 2. Goodness
A plus that it was right across the stree from the beach; so location was pretty on point

Check in was so fast and convenient we were checked in and in the room within 5 min.

The room smelled like cigarettes. The front desk agents only apologized. They didn’t offer to clean the room, get air fresheners, nothing. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Given the price of other hotels in the immediate vicinity this one is a bargain!
Sure, it is a budget property, but if you are looking for a clean bed close to the beach this fits the bill perfectly.
For us it was a one night stop to go to a Blackberry Smoke concert 2 miles up the road at The St Augustine Amphitheater. One of our favourite music venues and an amazing show.
Will stay here next time if the price is right as it saves the 2 hour plus late night drive back to Kissimmee.

The staff was polite and very professional. Although the property was in St Augustine Beach and was visit right after two storms skirted the area, the property was clean and any minor damage cleared and neatly stacked.

Staff at check in were super nice and helpful! We were attending a concert at the amphitheater. Salt Life restaurant is next door. We were expecting it to be overpriced and fried but food was surprisingly good. There is a local trolley you can take around the area and on concert days have a $10/person round trip shuttle. If you are looking for an affordable stay close to the beach or attractions and a place to lay your head at night, this is your place. Would stay here again!

Brian is truly the best manager I have encountered this year, I am very impressed. He even called me on my cell to ask if I was ok because he knew I was riding my bicycle to the hotel. 5 stars plus!!!

It was all we needed for an overnight . Loved the area as it was walkable to the beach and next door to a really good restaurant

I will definitely come back. The staff is super friendly and informative. Everything was good except that there was a moldy smell. There were one or two cosmetic issues but overall a great place. Love the price and location!

2 star hotel across the street from the beach in St Augustine..great location. Appears rooms were remodeled in the past few years, but found tile floors were very dirty, as well as padded chair. Also, floor lamp didnt work. The rates were good for the location, but cleanliness needs improvement

The staff was incredibly kind. However we were in a non smoking room and throughout the night, we felt a strong marijuana smell coming from the room next door or downstairs that was filtrating through our AC. This unpleasant smell caused us to not be able to rest.

Easy access to the beach and it has just been built back up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room could use a little repair touch up, nothing major. Parking spaces need to be restripped. Overall very pleased with it. Will stay there again next time we go.

I like that the beach is close to the place. Circle K is right next door. Also the best restaurant is two doors away.

Not clean place. Tub was clogged, air conditioner was dirty!!!! Floor was super dirty! They have to respect people. We came from the beach and couldn’t take shower, because tub was completely clogged! Nobody checked? It is mean nobody cleaned tub! Air conditioner was suuuuper dirty. Maybe they changed the filler???, but nobody wiped anything.

Older property could use some updates. Musty smell, but otherwise adequate. It was okay for just somewhere to sleep. Don’t know why hotels.com reviews are so much more positive than those on other sites for the same property. It feels a bit misleading.

Staff is very friendly. Regency Inn is right across the street from the ocean. Rooms are always reasonably priced.

The positive, the pool was great, the room was clean, service was great, location was excellent.
The negative, the beds were uncomfortable, the restaurant wasn't available, and the person in the room next to us clearly lives there and is a hoarder.
We wouldn't stay there again as a result of the hoarding situation.

The room was great! There needs to be a broom inside so you can sweep the sand on the floor after coming from the beach.

The room was very clean and upgraded. The staff was nice and friendly. The location is convenient to some very good restaurants and five miles from the historic district and churches.

Great little hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby, coffee area, room and pool were very clean. Quiet area and right across the road from the beach and walking distance to food and drinks! We will be booking there again!
