Everything was fine.

Surprised our room was not cleaned at all during our 4-day stay. Had to dump our own wastebaskets! Towels to be used at the pool were so rough that we were glad we bought our own beach towels! Quiet throughout the halls day and night made for comfortable sleeping.

My recent stay at the AmericInn by Wyndham in Minocqua was nothing short of exceptional. This is the most amazing place we’ve ever stayed! We had some very bad luck that landed us extended our stay up north and leaving a cabin to check into a hotel, and they made us feel like home!! The staff is incredible. Great pool and nice rooms!! I would recommend this hotel to everyone! No hotel stay will ever live up to this one

Only hotel available and it wasn’t our first choice, but thought it was pretty dirty, especially given the rate of $277. Let’s just summarize by saying I won’t be back.

Nikki at the front desk was amazing! She went out of her way to make me and my 2 kids feel welcome. She played with them, when the desk was slow, and asked questions that showed she really cared about them. As she restocked breakfast one morning, she also picked out a new cereal from the back that she knew the kids would like and brought it to them first! They felt so special. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the location was great. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location in Minocqua. Bed was comfortable and room was adequate but for $300 a night, we expected a cleaner more updated room and entry way. The room wasnt cleaned and we didnt get fresh towels and we ran out of toilet paper. The front desk said its a post covid rule that they dont clean or refresh rooms unless it’s requested in advance. Breakfast was good.

The property is in downtown Minocqua, so its close to shopping and restaurants.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and downtown. The only problem we had was that our room was damp. I had slightly wet shorts that never dried in 3 days. We also asked for a light bulb for a burned out light and we were blown off by the maid, making it a bit difficult to see to get ready.

We liked the breakfast

This is a dog friendly hotel and it’s right in the heart of Minocqua.

There are NO elevators....so if you get on the second floor, you need to go up a flight of stairs. Also the Hot tub was dirty and the sauna didnt work

I am 66 years old and my wife is 63. We went to Minocqua to do some biking for 3 days. When we checked into the hotel they put us on the second floor. They said there was no elevator and no open rooms on the first floor. We have e-bikes, so these weigh about 48 lbs. Needless to say it was not easy getting these bikes up the stairs by ourselves. Sadly we had to leave during the night due to the severe storms that hit our home in the Chicago area. So we carried the bikes down the stairs at 3:00AM. This experience has taught me to request a first floor room, or make sure there are elevators.

The sauna didn’t work and seems really old (the control panel). Other than that I had a nice stay.

Nice hotel in a convenient location.

For the money we paid, this was an unacceptable room. The room was very small, outdated and not clean. We were under the impression that the room was larger according to the picture. The corners of the room and bathroom were dirty and looked like they are never cleaned. The bathroom was so small you could barely close the door. The bathtub and tile were old and and stained. The light switch by the door did not work. The one thing we didn't see on the website was a notice that there was no elevator. There aren't a lot of steps going to the 2nd floor but when you are in your 70s and have to carry your suitcases and cooler up the steps it is a challenge. We saw another elderly couple struggling to get up the steps who said they also did not know that there wasn't an elevator. You should have a staff member available to help people with their luggage. The location to the downtown area is good.

No elevator. No rooms on first floor. With 90 year old grandparents. Was very inconvenient. Rooms were not very clean. For paying $350.00 per night I expect more.

Property was a little outdated but was clean and served its purpose. The space for breakfast was small so we had a hard time getting a spot to sit and took out food to our room. Location is good….walking distance to the town.

Nicki was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Helped with making the stay enjoyable and easy to get around.

We had a good stay, and were very grateful they could get us checked in early. We appreciated it. The price seemed high, but I guess it is peak season. There was kind of a stale, musty smell in the front check in area, but didn't notice it in our room. They did not have towels in the swimming area, but we used our room ones. Nice breakfast.

One nite. Breakfast skimpy and waffle maker a mess Tub unclean

No hair dryer. Toilet should not be so low to the floor. Replace with taller ones.Apple juice at breakfast seemed watered down.

The property was clean, grass mowed. Had a couple of chipmunks running around. Room was clean.
