Located very close to train station, this hotel offers convenience and easy access to the city center. And while the Service is attentive and professional, and the breakfast is very good, the room I stayed in was shabby, tired and had a strange odor whenever I entered. Furniture was old, worn and uncomfortable. Unless this place gets a serious makeover, I would not stay here again.

It was nice to be close to the station and walk to most tourist attractions. The staff were kind and everything was good except for the small accommodation.

The hotel staff were excellent and great location to attractions and central station but the room we were allocated was very small and needs some updating and TLC. The included breakfast was continental and the coffee was excellent. The beds were comfortable and king size and there was a wardrobe and a table and once you put you luggage in it left no room for moving around.

This hotel is amazing and the staff are unmatched. I cannot remember the name of the guy who checked me in but he was so friendly and generous (offered me a glass of water whilst I waited) and offered me some really cool suggestions of places to go. Later than evening I was greeted by Alby and he was so personable that we ended up talking for a good 30 mins if not more. I asked for a few things (hot water, glasses of ice ) it was not too much trouble for him during the night I bothered him. In the days when I was leaving and evenings I was returning all of the staff were so inviting and eager to learn what I was / had done during the days. I booked the smallest solo room and it was surprisingly spacious. Whilst the rooms didn't have a kettle, it did have a large fridge enough for me to hold a few containers of fruit, juice and water. The location is great being merely a few mins from the tram and train stations with the carrefour being across the road. I would not hesitate at all to return to this hotel as I absolutely loved my stay there :) Thanks guys for giving Firenze a wonderful reputation

Great stay. Good location, staff was friendly, room was clean! They let us check in pretty early too.

Nice hotel for a budget stay. The hotel does the job, however there are many points for improvement. It’s a bit of a shame that the iron curtain was shut during breakfast, and that the laundry chariots were occupying the nice patio on the first floor. The room is rather small and I couldn’t actually open my suitcase in full due to the arrangement of the furniture. So don’t expect any luxury, however the location is very convenient if you wanna stay close to the station

I liked that it is one block away from SMN Train Station. Easy access to the sites we wanted to visit. The room was small but very clean, with its own bathroom. All staff was very nice and willing to help and answer all our questions. If I come to Firenze again, I definitely will book a room at the Boccaccio!
