I stay here every year for one night while in the area for camp pickup. This year the room was very dirty. To the point I found myself trying to not touch anything at all. Very disappointed. Holiday Inn Express is usually a safe bet as far as being clean and safe. In a town where there aren’t any “nicer” hotels I thought myself lucky to have this one to fall back on. Not now. Next year I’ll stay in Fredericksburg and drive the extra 45 minutes.

They are doing construction. The carpets were dirty with Sheetrock dust on the carpets. The bathroom wall paper was pealing, cracks in walls and a dirty bathtub. We love Holiday Inn Express and won’t allow this one experience to taint our love for the chain but this place needs a lot of work. It’s time for an upgrade. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was as it always is - terrific.

It was a great stay. Friendly staff and courteous. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Loved the personal balcony. Good on the cleanliness and maid service was prompt when needed. All around, we will stay here again for sure!

We traveled to Kerrville to attend the River Festival and stayed here! After a busy day we came back to a very clean and comfortable room. Our room was all we could ask and folks working there were helpful and courteous. Definitely would stay again!!

The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. I would pay money for that. Staff super friendly, got our room cleaned early for us and let my kids swim in pool before room was even ready.

We had a Standard suite with patio that faced the Texas Shaped pool. My husband and I enjoyed eating our breakfast on the patio while listening to the waterfall from the pool.

Air conditioner was not working right for 2 days humid in the room and I notified when I checked out but the response was just sorry. Will not stay there again...

Despite being very close to the interstate, the room was very quiet. I had lots of space, and a nice porch overlooking the pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The entrance is a bit hard to spot - the hotel is set back from the road. I would definitely stay here again.

The experience was good except the toilet backed up and we had to get a plunger late at night and clear it. Thought hotel would offer a discount but no offer.

We were very happy with this hotel. Room was large and comfortable with all the normal amenities. Really appreciated the full hot breakfast since so many hotels are not doing this anymore.

The toom was fine but bathtoom was not very clean. Shower walls had soapand residue on them.
Breakfast was minimal and not wjat wr expected for the price of the roo. Went next door for a real breakfast.

Had a very good experience at this hotel. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was better than the average free breakfast fare (they had fresh fruit, warm cinnamom buns, cereal and eggs made to order). We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast service was very good. While the hot choices are limited, the staff who served them was excellent, friendly and efficient.Unfortunately, our room was not serviced one of the 3 days we stayed. When we returned to the hotel about 9:00, we realized. However, the gentleman at the front desk provided fresh towels and coffee pods.

Nice hotel but could be much cleaner. It’s a little tired. The shower curtain was dirty and the bathtub was stained from years of use. There were pill bugs in the bathroom everyday that we had to pick up as well. A deep cleaning of the entire premises is recommended.
