The hotel is in perfect condition. Staff is courteous and professional. Restaurant is excellent and not overly expensive for this type of hotel. Super convenient to Detroit Metro Airport.

The hotel its self has very little dining options with limited menus. The plus side is that you can get a pass to enter the airport where dining options are unlimited.

We reserved a regular room and ended up with a fully handicap room and we are tall people so it was all very low

We left an air pod and security was quick to locate and retrieve it from the room and is shipping it to us . Very helpful !
Also our rooms were made a available early which was huge because we were stranded due to canceled flights .

My stay was very comfortable and convenient. Was a bit disappointed that upon my return to the room for the evening that the room had not been cleaned. Even though I requested no cleaning, I was assured someone would tend to it any way.

I love that if you fly with Delta, you can have access to a separate TSA door with less people! If you don’t fly Delta, the Westin has a very convenient shuttle to Evan’s terminal which runs every 15 mins and it’s just outside of floor 3 of the hotel and through the valet. Unless I need to stay in town I’ll always book the Westin especially if I need to leave for an early flight!

Super friendly valet, easy check in, kids loved the pool. I would stay here again before an early flight. I will try and have a carry on only next time to take advantage of the tsa checkin from the lobby.

There is no security - anyone can access any floor anytime although signs in elevator say the contrary

First visit to a handicapped room at the Detroit Westin Metro Hotel. Check in was great... Room - NOT SO GREAT!! And really it all had to do with the bathroom! Before I address the layout and lack of thought -- THE SMELL! It smelled like mold/mildew!! So gross! The smell was no where else! But extremely evident in the bathroom!! The layout SUCKS! It's a handicapped room with two queens and absolutely NO COUNTER SPACE EXCEPT FOR A TOOTHBRUSH & TOOTHPASTE! They only put bath towels in the bathroom - the hand towels are in the entryway - really? So incredibly inconvenient!! My guest is 82 and likes to request a handicap room so this was my first time as a guest "using" one! I have to say -- If I was TRULY HANDICAPPED I WOULD FEEL VERY SECOND CLASS IN YOUR HOTEL!!

There was no help at all to bring luggage into the lobby, and from lobby to the room.
It is already a hazzle to bring the luggage from the airport, taking the airport bus, not hotel shuttle, that drops passengers at the valet entrance, and then, passengers have to take a long walk trough a corridor, to take an elevator, to another long walk to the check-in counter.
The bathroom only ha d a sink without vanity and no hooks for the towels.
It was clean and the staff were nice.
