The location was very convenient for us to catch an early morning flight at Detroit Metro airport. We had a handicap room, which provided lots of grab bars and safety features for my husband, who uses a wheelchair. iIt was very convenient for returning our rental car the night before leaving town.

The shower in the handicap bathroom had a short shower curtain, so water from the shower got all over the floor. It was actually MORE dangerous than if my husband had just had to step into a tub. Very slippery. Also, the bathroom had very little counter space for two people (that’s where the coffee maker was, too), so there was actually no place for me to use a curling iron with a mirror to curl my hair other than for me to sit on the bedroom floor and use the full-length mirror. I’m 68 years old, so this was not easy for me.

Very easy check in . Friendly staff member at 1:00 am after a long day of flying from California.

The staff was professional and polite.

The breakfast was poor compared to any other hotel that offers breakfast. It was just packaged food that you would microwave. We had no hot water in the sink in our room. I was told the indoor pool was heated. It must have been heated with ice cubes because it was very cold. The carpet in the hallway going to our room was disgustingly stained.

We didn't like the breakfast it was bad. You could really improve on that. We would have liked a trolly to take us to a restaurant and back to motel.

well taken care of and clean

difficult to know which shuttle to take from DTW to the hotel. Had to call the hotel in the shuttle area and was on hold more than 15 min before answered. Then had to call the shuttle company to alert them that people were waiting for it. Was late night and dangerous to wait there for a long time. Breakfast, Disappointed in unhealthy prepackaged mini breakfast sandwiches, omelets. Cereal with no bowls. No water available. Coffee in thermal coffee containers was lukewarm. Front desk told guests there was waffles, but none existed.
