Serena is the Crown jewel of Islamabad. I don’t have enough words to describe what an incredible experience we had at the Sarena. Spent 2 nights with family on a vacation and would definitely come back.

Superb hotel, maybe the likes of Pearl Continentral Malam Jabba can learn a thing or two from Serena's management.

Amazing. The only thing I would improve on are the mattresses which are v hard. But otherwise an incredible place! The buffet, gardens and spa are perfect.

Great stay at the Serena. They have a lot of useful services at the hotel for a business trip, including an ATM, coffee shops and car service. They provided a complimentary local phone with internet and airport pick-up/drop-off. It has very good security and a connection to the Serena Business Complex. Would recommend.

All around excellent experience at the Serena. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly - from the security to front desk to housekeeping to gym and spa to restaurant staff. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The rooms are excellent - I stayed in two different rooms across two stays and found them both to be comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The gym is excellent, lots of equipment, spacious and with a nice view over the pool (unlike lots of hotel gyms stuck in the basement). I will definitely stay here again on any return visit to Islamabad.

Its a beautiful property and very 'Serene' Food lagged a little from its beauty.

We have been staying at Serena ISB for the past 5 years. Our previous stay was terrible so the GM at the time promised better service, we have just completed our most recent stay and it was worse. We pay the premium for Serena as we travel with a terminal patient and want the safety and security Serena once brought. It is now just a free for all of people wanting to take selfies in the lobby and attending functions. There is no distinguishment between paying hotel guests and day visitors. Rooms are now run down, no display of etiquette and noise disruption starting as early as 5am on a Sunday morning without prior written warning from the hotel to guests. Was verbally assaulted with physical threats in the hotel lobby by a grown man yet no member of staff offered to help nor do they keep decorum and ask people to queue at reception. This is no longer a five star property and the new GM’s lack of concern for our troubles has urged us to never return and ensure our family and friends do the same. I have travelled the world and never encountered such unbothered staff, despite that special mention to Naeem, Niaz, Abdul Rehman, (a man from northern areas sorry forgot your name), Nassir and Khalid. It seems the people on the ground are painting the picture for the people above to take credit on.

The lobby and other common areas were good. Room was old and dated and not clean

Over all it was ok . Front desk staff need to be trained well about customer service . They were very slow . Room service was very slow they need to be reminded again and again to send bell boy to room or roll away bed in the room . Very frustrating . Shower head was dirty . Shower need to be cleaned properly .

Very comfortable stay.I was upgraded for club access lounge with beautiful views/serenity and good food choices available from 6:30 a.m. till 9:30 p.m.; also has in doom dining available for 24 hours. In all, highly recommend without any reservations

Check in process was not smooth. The entire check in process took nearly 45 minutes. When I walked into the room, it wasn't clean and there was a rotten and putrid smell coming from it. When I called front desk, I was informed that they don't have another room available. I wanted to leave the property right away but my luggage disappeared and was found an hour later. I checked out and left the property in less than 2 hours.

Check in process is extremely slow, lack of efficiency.

Pros: friendly staff, clean, room amenities. Room size. Food quality Cons: inconsistent dress code guidelines and selective application for breakfast area. My teenagers were not allowed to enter wearing golf shorts when others were allowed wearing shorts and bathroom slippers. Though clean, rooms and furniture is showing age and need massive upgrade. Our bathroom roof collapsed in middle of night with concrete blocks falling into the bathtub. Luckily no one was using it at the time. We were upgraded to suite. Reception staff not well versed and check out took 30 mins. They tried to charge us again for the whole stay when it was already prepaid via Expedia. After calling Expedia, showing email of receipt and my bank statement they still won’t let go. Finally their superior had to be called and the issue was sorted out. Would opt for Marriott Islamabad next time.
