Beautiful and relaxing hotel that is directly on the beach. Lovely shade trees and palms, plenty of lounges and great pools. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

This is a very nice place if you are interested in staying on the beach and do not plan to go out of the compound. There's everything you need for a quality beach vacation, the nice sandy beach, swimming pools, restaurants, massage, water sports, etc. However the area outside the hotel is dirty, possibly because there was a road construction going on while we were there. There is no public transportation, so you will need either a car / motorbike, or taxi to explore the island. There are many restaurants and massage shops outside the hotel, but the street is dirty and unpleasant to walk. Based on the hotel itself, I would rate it 5, considering the environment it is 4.

There wasn’t a lift to the third floor. The hotel is old and dated. The internet service was not good, the food was average. but the people that worked there was nice and tried to be accommodating, The service was good

It was a great stay at Best Western Premier. I was upgraded to a nice large family room on ground level with a small lanai looking out over a nice grass area with plumeria trees.

Deluxe pool terrace rooms were great size. Staff were always smiling and welcoming. Food at restaurant was good. Doing renovations on half of the property but did not hear any noise from it. Loved our stay here

Pretty nice and friendly and helpful staff. Room is very clean. But the room I have (4107) air conditioning has some problem. It's very coldnand cannot adjust the temperature. You can either turn it on or turn it off. And mosquito is a headache too. We found the Electric mosquito coil under the TV second night. Its much better after we light the mosquito coil. Overall still satisfied this stay. Recommended.

Staff are very professional and friendly. They also give us many good advice like some very good local restaurant. beach view is stunning. Pool also very good. Highly recommended.

The staff were kind, considerate and helpful, but the resort is not a 4-star rating kind of place. It might have been 30 years ago! There was a nicer resort next door, and had I known, I would have booked that place because it was modern and more to my taste. I stayed at a Best Western hotel in Venice, Italy, a few times, and because it was a very nice experience, I assumed I would have the same experience in Phuket. Sadly, I was mistaken.

The best resort if you like a quiet hotel with immediate access to the beach and pools. Everything is within reach. 7/11 convenient store steps away from hotel. Absolutely love this hotel and location.

Our 2nd stay at this lovely ocean front resort. Extended our stay and they gave us a very favourable rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful resort grounds and near restaurants, beach bars and shops. Will definitely return.

The property was beautiful and the people working there are wonderful. When I returned to my room the evening of my birthday, “Happy Birthday” was written on my bed with cut palm leaves surrounded by flowers. A beautiful flower arrangement was in my room and a bowl of fresh fruit as well. I had a magnificent experience.

Great hotel on the beach

The hotel has a great location and really good staff. Lunch restaurant was good so over all a nice place. On the down side was the pool where the tile joints was coming lose leaving sharp edges and a lot of dirt. If they fix this I would give it a four star rating.

We stayed 5 days with kids. Hotel kids friendly and well located with choice of Thai restaurants in the beach. Staff is nice and we enjoyed the breakfast in front of the sea.

We spent 5 days with kids. The family room is big, the hotel location is great with a lot of choices of Thai restaurants near the beach and hotel is kids friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast with the sea view.

All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed the yoga classes. The whole of the property was well maintained. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

I love everything about this place. It was my second time there after three years. At check-in, I said "Last time, I had Room X and really liked it." They said, yes, we know, and you have it again. Then when I went to the room, they'd used various plant materials to spell out "Welcome Back" on the King-sized bed. There was also a fruit plate waiting for me there. The pool was right outside my door and was fabulously clean and inviting. the beach maybe 50 yards from my door. Nice bar, excellent restaurant with buffet breakfasts every day, and various buffets every night. The place is immaculate, all the staffers smile and greet you and the desk staff is very helpful and solicitous. Great shopping nearby, including a 7-11 right across the street. I will be coming back.

we stay 5days... but it was rain 3days ): Everything was good... only weather was problem...

Good hotel for family we enjoyed the pools and the beach however the the service in this hotel is far away from a 4 star booked a airport pick up no one was there at the airport not even offered an apologie at check ordered a margarita pizza got a margarita drink lol no management or general manager on site to greet you or liaise with you. I guess maybe the culture of service is not there as yet In the country but enjoyed ourselfs

Good location on BangTao beach, friendly staff and some local shops and restaurants, I have stayed at most of the hotels on this beach, it’s not the best but would stay again.

Best Western Bang Tao?...From our Arrival for a two week stay, not just a night, and considering we normally go to the Dusit Thani Laguna,just 500 metres down Bang Tao Beach,we were less than well received. The man at the arrival was very unfriendly,as if we were at his convenience. He shouldn't be in the job,as frankly he clearly doesn't like westerners. Then the first Room they showed us was dark,full of mosquitoes and in the middle of a 30 year old Block,when Hotels.com suggested it was "A new Resort"??? We stayed in that room first night & next morning asked to be moved to one of the ground floor end Apartments,which the kind Lady Manager arranged. The other major disappointment was the food. First meal? Great. Every other Dinner we had in the restaurant was frankly very ordinary. I am still having repercussions 5 days later. We would NOT recommend a stay at the Worst Western Bang Tao,and it is certainly not Premium. It is a 3 Star at Best with 5 star Prices. Forget it. We've been to Phuket 5 times in 3 years,and on this experience,we will not be going back.Ever. Blame the arrogance of some of the Staff,and on the haughty anti western attitude shown. We are VERY Frequent long distance long time Travellers,Internationally,but that's it for us, ever going back to Thailand. We would like to get our $3500 refunded from Hotels.com.
