Not enough service at room. And when we finally have service, the maids make a half clean up

Staff was excellent. The outdoor pool and hot tub being connected to the hotel next door was weird. The fan in the bathroom was super loud. All in all, a good experience. I'd stay there again.

Stayed at this multiple times and hotel and room always clean. This most recent time we had a major scare in the elevator closest to the lobby after letting passengers off at the 4th floor and we only had to go up the 5th floor, the elevator dropped a good amount to scare the hell out of all of us and we were stuck in there in there for a good 10 minutes until it finally go up to the 5 the floor. Told the front desk and they could have responded with a lil more compassion about the situation.

Friendly staff right on the beach . No room service . Cleaning once every other day . No official dine in restaurant It’s. A bar and place to eat all at once . Outside pool is nice Indoor pool not bad too small Gym too small

My family and I have stayed at this location a few times now. This is our first return since Covid. The renovations are very nice. I was not happy with our accommodations. Please beware when you are booking on a third party site, the pictures are deceiving. I thought I paid extra for a suite with a large balcony. This was important for me having a family of 5, with 3 20 year olds I really wanted the extra space. Front desk finally agreed to upgrade the room w/o charging us even more! And I’m a Bonvoy member. Coffee maker started shooting out steaming hot water, it was broken, the mini fridge door kept popping open, and there was no housekeeping to be seen. They don’t tell you the rooms are cleaned every other day. We were only there 3 days, had it been longer I would have complained to the front desk earlier than when I was checking out. The food at the pool was great. There is no one overseeing the pool. Twice the same little boy drifted over to the 5 foot side and was flailing a few minutes before I even realized he was in trouble. His mom both times yanked him out. Also the hot tub was full of little kids, an obvious no no. The person sitting by the pool gate was oblivious to anything except his phone. I don’t know what his purpose was, he wasn’t watching the pool or checking for room keys to make sure guests only were using the pool. The Dunes restaurant in the lobby was not good. Overall, the stay was just okay. If we come back to Va Beach I think it’s time to move on.

Had a great time, check out person was not as personable as everyone else luckily that was at the end of the stay but everyone else at the front desk, genuinely kind. Guy at the pool bar super nice as well. We stayed to go to a concert at the amphitheater

I loved everything about my stay

The room was clean and spacious, the ocean view was spectacular, loved sitting on the balcony and appreciated the convenient location of the hotel. The long elevator line was a problem especially in the morning during the breakfast rush, had to take the stairs few times. Some staff could be more hospitable though. Overall it was a good experience, will stay here again.

Clean rooms, beautiful facilities, easy beach and pool access!

The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. You can tel they go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pull out couch was great for my kids!

The hotel had some problems like one of the elevators were broken so we had to take the stairs a couple of times,the laundry was free.....but the staff keep cleaning there rags in the machines so they were never available to use unless you woke up early or stayed up late to do laundry.All in all it was very nice.

I would have given this property all stars but the elevator situation was terrible. There were only two elevators working. One guest waited an hour for an elevator during check out.

Amazing stay i had with my family first time at Virginia Beach loved the hotel and how close it was to the beach perfect stay definitely recommend to others

The Hotel is perfect , only thing that bothered was the elevator, if you choose a High floor , you must know that, other than that, was PERFECT, clean, the Oceanfront view was PERFECT, I’ll definitely stay there again…

The hotel was clean and decorated nicely. The elevators kept breaking which caused a lot of waiting to get to rooms. Breakfast was good but space was too small for the amount of guests. The number of beds in the room was great but comfort was lacking.

The Property is beautiful, clean and wonderful ! The best part was the front desk person named Rowena, she was so helpful and so hospitable. She took care of all her guest like they were living in her house. Thank you Rowena for making our stay special !

We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay again. Great location, great pool, great breakfast, great staff, great parking. The only issue was with the elevators. There are only 3 of them and one was out of service the entire stay. Lines to take an elevator could get very long at times.

The public areas of the hotel are very crowded. There were long lines at the elevators and breakfast (we even tried going to breakfast at different times). The pools were packed with screaming kids. We stayed on the beach most of the day, which was nice except for the fighter jets flying overhead every 15 minutes from morning until evening. It’s not a place for a relaxing vacation.

They gave us the keys to an occupied room twice. Once we finally got into our room, the smell of deodorizer knocked us down and none of the of the furniture had been dusted. The bedroom was missing a remote. Only 1 of the elevators worked. We will definitely not be staying there again!

I would give 5 stars, great service, very clean, BUT air conditioner was terrible, very loud, and elevators were not working well

A great property, friendly staff

We loved being oceanfront! It was a nice, easy walk to the beach! The indoor pool was good for the kids for the first couple days, then it became cloudy, but that was ok! The only complaint we had was that the air conditioner was VERY loud in the bedroom, it made for some difficult nights of sleeping. It was also very loud on the balcony, and it wasn’t very relaxing. I also assumed that I paid for a walk out balcony, as that was advertised in the pictures of the room. Overall, we had a great vacation minus the minor inconvenience!

Enjoyed our 10th fooor balcony. Would have appreciated having my own drinks at the outdoor pool vs the purchase only option. Daily breakfast was great and convenient.

Love the convenience of everything around and most were walkable. I did not like: the loud A/C unit in room & there's no hottub inside for convenience. Also, elevators were not working properly & that should be stated when booking reservations! Overall, great stay...

Was pleasantly surprised, renovated rooms, nice/ clean. Staff exceptional. Location was oceanfront. Breakfast very nice with lots of options. Pools well maintained n clean. Will definately be returning!

The room was a plus ! Was not too happy with room service looks like no housekeeping available.
