Lovely hotel, food was brilliant, entertainment was awesome

It seemed as if all the staff were beginners. The range of the menu on offer was huge, but its no good if you can't deliver quality cooking. (A Gordon Ramsay nightmare). The serving staff seem to think they were on holiday too. Little bundles of hair were on the floor around my room for the duration. (I'm bald). Good location.

Wonderful, friendly staff in a good location with a nice pool area and clean comfortable rooms.

Great hotel excellent amenities. Nightly entertainment was very good both at the pool and inside. Food was very good with plenty of choice. Very well located. Would stay again. Never a problem getting sunbeds.

Stunning hotel. Excellent stay. Good great. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Special mention to one of the bar maids from the roof top bar (Saida) she looked after us very well. Would come again.

Me and my partner stayed here for our honeymoon, it was beyond amazing! From checking in to checking out the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely, great facilities. Rooms were clean and modern. Great range of choice for breakfast, Buffet style. Gorgeous lunch on the roof top bar area also. We loved every minute, definitely recommend!

Excellent hotel, very clean throughout wherever you go from the rooms to the restaurant, reception area, pool side and spa area. Lovely and inviting. Modern decorations. Absolutely loved it.

This was our second time to stay at this hotel & it was better this time which was amazing . All the staff were always smiling & they were very friendly & extremely helpful. The food choices served every evening for dinner was amazing , there was so much & very tasteful .Also the breakfast was also fabulous & plentiful . The cleanliness of the pool area was spotless & the rooms was well looked after . The cleaning staff were very helpful . We look forward to our next visit to thus hotel

Just as previous reviewers have said food amazing very clean. Modern feel. Didn’t have a pool view room and having now stayed would really have made a difference having one so I’d definitely ask. Looking out of hotel towards pool ask for rooms on right hand side. The rooftop area is beautiful, expected to pay a bit more for view and service but prices were a bit steep even compared to prices elsewhere in the hotel. Gym equipped with what you’d need though I did t use it. Spa area looked lovely though again didn’t use. Wasn’t told until I asked to book a bed on the rooftop that it was €40 each although that was used as a credit towards any food/drink purchased while you were there so if spending day up there you’d definitely be able to use it. We ended up a bit burnt and as no shade, umbrellas had to cancel so ended up not using. Was very nice for drinks later watching sunset though. Staff really friendly, removes cleaned daily. Used hairdressers for blow dry and curls which was €30. Relatively pleased with it as don’t suppose it’s ever the same as your regular hairdresser. We travelled last week in Jan. Sun lower than summer so areas of pool a bit shaded but still plenty beds in sunny spots. There was a foam pool party which was good fun. Didn’t stay in for any of the nighttime entertainment but it was always busy. I’d definitely recommend it and would go back.

First time at the tigotan hotel in Tenerife & it won’t be the last. Everything about it was spot on. Food, staff, ambience, cleanliness. All perfect.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.. From start to finish the staff could not do enough for you. The food was second to none. Just could not fault this hotel.

The staff and food at this hotel are excellent. Pool area and shows are also very good. The rooms shown in their publicity do not bear a resemblance to the one that we got, or others that we saw during our stay, and certainly need an upgrade, especially for the prices being charged.. Overall this leaves you with a feeling of poor value for money.

A very good hotel in all respect. We stayed for 10 days. Fabulous food selection and two small swimming pools and jacussy on the roof, with romantic scenery and sunset. The only disappointment when we arrived now in late february was that on our balcony there was never sunshine. Since the hotel is built in a U curve facing west, in the southern side of the U in february at least the sun never reaches the balcony, people should know that. The rooms on the northern part of the U building are more expensive, and all were occupied and no chance of upgrading. There was only one comfortable chair in the room, but in your announce and my papers from Hotels.com says that we should have a bed sofa but at the hotel told me this was wrong on your part???

Highly recommend this hotel. Cava reception, great service from all staff, buffet breakfast and dinner is immense! So much variety and quality. From the receptionists to the restaurant staff and cleaners, everyone makes you feel welcome and go out of their way to meet your needs.

A lovely hotel for a relaxing break with plenty of pubs shops and the beach nearby

Lovely hotel fantastic staff great food only thing disappointed in was there dress code used to be NO shorts male or female but doesn’t seem to matter anymore people can go and get changed into shorts after dinner if they wish, which used to happen years ago and it worked now don’t bother very very sad. animation team brilliant one you ladie Hannah made you want to get up and join in with everything even if you didn’t always had smile on her face made you feel great.

We had a lovely time, but had to move rooms as the first one was noisy and tired looking, this despite asking for a quiet room when we booked months ago. It was our wedding anniversary but we didn’t get anything special. On the whole, staff great, food good, rooms, hotel and exclusive lounge all a bit tired and for us lacked the wow factor. Don’t get excited about the photos of gorgeous sliced fruit and champagne in an ice bucket in your exclusive room, the reality is a few pieces of bruised fruit and a warm bottle of cheap cava, no ice bucket!

My partner and I stayed at this lovely Hotel. We had a wonderful time and a week there was too short. My partner used the pool more than I did but above all we both enjoyed the food and access to the VIP area. The variaty and freshness of the food on display during breakfast and dinner was amazing. I came back home with an extra 2kgs around my waist but I am not complaining. Great rooms with nice views of the pool.

When we arrived we were given room 511 the highest floor... On my request last October!!. I had asked for a room on low level because my husband and i were both recovering from surgery. We finally ended up with a room that overlooked a back alley car park.. No sun shone on it whatsoever very very disappointed. Also the arrangement regarding the pool side loungers was totally ridic'ulous.

Always a good selection of food at both breakfast and dinner Well located for bus route. Paid to upgrade to a poolside room needed to be moved as there was no sun on the balcony But that was soon changed for us.

The hotel is undergoing a refurb which the hotel is trying to limit the effect on guests the best they can. As seems to be the Spanish way the finish quality on the refurb is something to be desired! Great pool area and restaurant . I'm not a great fan of buffets but plenty choice for dinner and breakfast . The resort itself has lots restaurants though if you board B and B . The cafe del mar roof top bar is excellent but not busy so lacks atmosphere. Hopefully the bar will become better attended once it is known more Other bar prices in the hotel are reasonable . Pool towels are provided and we had no problems getting a sun bed
