The house is lovely. Brian was an excellent and attentive host. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently remodeled. There were snacks and wine, tea, and water available in the evening. Because the room I was in did not have an en suite bathroom (although the bathroom was private), bathrobes were provided. I understand that most rooms in the house have en suite bathrooms. Limited parallel parking was available on the street at night; daytime parking was limited to 2 hours from 9 am to 5 pm.

This inn was very beautiful and comfortable able. The innkeeper was kind and very helpful. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious. My room was clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this B and B . The neighborhood is also safe and lovely. Many Victorian type homes.

The property was well maintained and clean. The moment we arrive we received a warm welcome. It is quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this property if you want a family atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

Eric greeted us warmly and showed us around. When I booked, I mentioned that we had an earlier meeting than the breakfast hours so would miss the meal. Eric took note and had very thoughtfully packed us FULL breakfasts to take along with us in the morning! That was above and beyond what was expected.
We stepped out for dinner to a restaurant which he had recommended. When we got back there was homemade biscotti - some of the best I've ever had.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the area was quiet. Overall, we had an exceptional stay, and if I ever need a room in the area again, I would book at Cornerstone B&B

The suite we had was charming and beautifully decorated. We were very comfortable during our short stay. We could walk to the Philadelphia Zoo, a restaurant, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art from this location.

This historic building is a lovely BnB. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The front porch is a wonderful spot to sit and relax, enjoy a drink or a meal.

WOW! We stay exclusively at BnBs and have been to several across the US and in the UK and Europe. This is one of the BEST! The hosts are absolutely adorable and pay attention to the little details. They are warm and gregarious, but VERY thoughtful. They even made us a special vegan breakfast and brought it up to our room for us! The house is beautiful and appointed with all the charm you can imagine and still has those 21st Century comforts we've all come to rely on. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast. Simply outstanding!

The innkeepers were young, friendly, but never intrusive. Our room was nice and well equipped to settle in and sleep at the end of the day. The breakfasts were served on the porch or in your room because of covid-19. We ate breakfast on the porch every day and it was the highlight of my day in an otherwise hectic week of moving my daughter from one apartment to another!! Another adaptation they’ve made for their guests during the pandemic (Indoor dining isn’t happening at Philly restaurants) is they will set a table with real plates, silver and candles so your takeout feels fancy. There was just a great vibe going on here and we will definitely come back!

When we arrived Saturday evening, the owners were not there, out of town if I recall correctly, but we were greeted by their parents/in-laws, and they were just as friendly and accommodating as the owners when we met them for breakfast Sunday morning.We stayed in the Franklin Room on the second floor, and although our bathroom was a few steps down the hall, it was assigned exclusively to our room, meaning we did not have to share it with others. This may be an issue for some, but I did not find it to detract from the stay at all. I feel it actually added to the charm of the place, as it brought back memories of staying at my grandmothers home as a child.Eating the wonderfully made breakfast of homemade waffles and strawberries Sunday morning, around a large table in the dining room with some of the other guests, also added to the family atmosphere of the home.Its a beautiful, cozy B&B all around, both inside and out, ,and definitely somewhere I will book again when staying in the area.

We're just a couple travelling seniors with a heavy load - ("oh, just a couple bags" she said. "Dear, how many shoes do you need?" I replied) Anyway, our hostess humped those bags up stairs like they were baskets of fruit. A friendly and comfy spot in a university neighborhood. Caveat: if you foolishly arrive with a car (us) it's simply parking by serendipity.
Good things for breakfast and really excellent conversation to begin the day.

This was a great b&b! The owners were so personable and charming. Breakfast was delicious, location was convenient while being just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our time in Phili and particularly enjoyed staying at the Cornerstone.
Very comfortable and spotlessly clean room, great continental breakfast and a short walk to the subway.
Great hosts who know how to look after their guests.

We were very happy with this B&B from the moment we drove up. Jewel was quite a gracious host and the room was spotless. We will come back. The proximity to where we would enjoy the sights, sounds and food were perfect.
