This wasn’t the property for me . There were people in the parking lot both hours in the night. People asking for money and if we want to buy stuff Definitely is not safe for a family.

I love it here! Nothing spectacular about it, but Regency Inn offer all the amenities you expect.They have refrigerators, microwaves, air and heat. It's also quiet, clean, has ample parking and good food just across the street. Anytime I'm in Lakeport, I always choose Regency Inn!

I had a wonderful time. I needed a quiet and peaceful get-away and this place was subtle and quiet. I liked the simplicity. Although the pool was under construction, the desk clerk allowed me to sit on the patio which has a nice view of Clear Lake. Sunset was beautiful.

My stay at Regency Inn was pleasant. Hospitality was excellent. The room was essential and clean, plus the bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful and attentive. I would recommend and will be back soon!

In the advertisement there was a picture of a beautiful pool overlooking the lake. I booked the room to swim in that pool. When I got there the pool was closed and in a complete state of disrepair. There was crime scene tape around it, the gate was locked and the concrete skjrounding looks like it had fallen into the lake. Needless to say it was ima cease lie. I got conned. And I want my money back. Please let me k ow if you need anything further.

The hotel was very quiet. The location by the lake was beautiful. But when had first arrived he couldn't find our reservation. When we had got to our room I took a look around the room and saw hair in the bathtub there was mold in the ice trays in the freezer along with a very wet freezer . They don't have sheets on the bed it was just flat sheets covering the mattress. We didn't get room service the entire time we were there. We definitely won't be staying at this location again.

The biggest problem was the “check in” at the hotel was horrible. They claimed not to have my Expedia reservation information. I showed the clerk my reservation email and he demanded I pay him. I explained I already paid through Expedia and showed him the email that reflected the details. He refused to check me in and did nothing to try to verify the information. I had to call Expedia and after 20 minutes of talking to a representative I was told I would need to be transferred to another department. And of course the call was disconnected. Did I receive a call back even after I had verified my call back number - no I did not receive a call back. So I had to call Expedia again and verify all my information, then I was transferred to the other department, and after 1 hour total I was able to check in and get my room key. It was terrible on both the hotel clerk’s behalf and also Expedia (who according to the clerk hadn’t sent over the reservation information. Honestly it was by far my worst experience checking into a hotel and I have stayed at several hundreds of hotels/motels.

This is a basic, somewhat updated, mid-century motel. My room was very clean, but basic. I was impressed with the on-site management who took great pride in their motel. The motel is convenient to downtown Lakeport and many local events. Nice view of the lake.

Pros - The owners were accessable when needed. The room was very clean. The location was convenient to the freeway and food options. Cons - The hotel has a pool area that leads to a deck that overlooks Clear Lake. It wasn't open until 11 AM. My impression is that it would have been a very nice place to see the sun rise and/or sit and watch the lake earlier in the morning.

Very well run and clean location! Room was very clean and organized, Wi-Fi was free, parking free, in room coffee, microwave fridge, Seemed to be family business. They did not hesitate to accommodate any request that I had. Mattress was a little hard for my taste but I would stay there again for sure.

Lakeport is a beautiful place and this motel is within walking distance of nice parks. The swimming pool was not kept clean.

The staff was very nice and friendly. I was staying here a lot more in the past for work, so when I came to visit I came back. They put in new flooring, room was very mice and clean.

For the price this place was great, very clean, right on the lake and plenty of parking. You could fish right off the dock if the water levels were higher. We need lots of rain. The owners were both very helpful and kind. We will stay here again.

This place worked out great and I would definitely stay there again. Most of the hotels in this area are horrible and nobody should stay there. The staff was great and the room was clean

Looks very basic but clean, beds were way too soft and hence uncomfortable for me.

The pool area and dock was the only good thing about the place. Both of which we didn’t have time to use.Light didn’t work, odd smell. Curtains kept closed with a clothes pin.Woman was rude and unfriendly at the desk.Toilet paper roll was not changed
