I walked into the place and was blown away by the spectacular view. The staff was great, in helping me get transportation to and from a party on a windy back road with a late pick up. Was VERY appreciative at that. The only negatives are that the beds are very hard, and the worst part for me is there are no actual cups, everything is plastic which is terrible for the environment, especially at a lake. No one wants to drink a cup of coffee out of a paper cup.

There wasn’t any hot water to take a shower. ( not evening or the following morning).
I wish someone would have told us about the Rice Flies that come around this time of year. It wasn’t fun having them in our room, let alone sleeping with them, when they are busy bothering you!!

Very clean and comfortable property. The facilities are older construction but very well kept and maintained. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the service was excellent. A few of the lake was fantastic.

This was a quaint little hotel that was actually bigger than what it looked like from the street. It had plenty of outdoor amenities, which we were not able to take advantage of due to time constraints, but we would definitely love to go back. There are rooms towards the back of the property that have a lakeside view, that we would like to book next time. The only negatives we could think of were the small dish towel sized bath towels and that there were no secondary sheer curtains to block passerby’s from looking into the room. The only curtains were a light blocking type and did keep the room dark. I would only take off half a star for that if I could.

It was an older hotel that definitely showed It’s age a bit. But was very clean and neat.

We enjoyed our one night stay. We had a king size rm on the pool side. These are not luxury rooms and small compared to newer hotels.
It was clean, bed was comfortable.
Staff were very friendly. I called early to confirm our reservation. I was told our room was ready and we could check in early at noon.
This was great, have us time to enjoy the pool.
We didn't take time to check out the lake side. We will stay here again and get a room on the lake side.

Meh. Rooms need a big renovation (very dated and old). Doors don't shut right (so everyone is always slamming them). No safety chains on doors. Shower door didn't shut and inside of shower was grody (might want sandals when you shower). Walls a SUPER thin - if anyone is partying next door, you're going to hear every word. Just go over and join 'em I guess... (And I'm a heavy sleeper). Hot water was intermittent (or non-existent for two days) but the staff was responsive. Nice location. Very friendly and attentive ducks. Super staff.

This hotel is located by the lake on main street. Easy walk to a park or Angelina basket which serves great code and pastry and lunch menu is awesome too.
Stages were friendly. Thiwish they provide better quality shampoo and conditioner though.room had a strong order

Well, the air-conditioning worked well, thank god. However, we booked well in advance for my 50th reunion, thought we were getting a remodeled room. The bathroom was awful. Spiders, dirty, and the bath counter was awful. Had to take a cold shower friday night because the pilot light was out on water heater.
We probably will not be returning to your resort.

Older property but are trying to keep things updated. Felt clean and safe just old, which is part of its charm. Pool is basic but refreshing. Walk to the lake is not far and there’s a nice grassy area to hang out. Only complaint is there’s a lack of outlets to plug in devices, and chipped paint but we enjoyed our stay.

This place is very beautiful. I love how our room over looked the lake. Only downside was the spiders on the balcony and in the room corners on top. Other than that the property and everyone is so nice. There is a lot of stuff to do. I would definitely come back here.

We loved our stay here! It was by far our best stay of the multiple hotels we chose in California. Truly felt like we were at a resort but had peace and quiet and a beautiful view that we didn’t seem to share with anyone else besides the domesticated ducks lol. We wish we would have made it a destination stop and not just a quick overnight stay. We would happily book a multiple day stay here in the future and would spend time on the water with a rental boat to fish and just have fun. The staff was just lovely and extremely helpful with anything we needed!

Had a wonderful stay. Loved that it was quiet on a Friday night. Rooms were clean, quality of interior design was great, its got peels and chips and paint isnt perfect as expected for an older motel. Dont expect 5 star hotel, its a motel, we got a great rate for a motel that was clean, right on the lake, activities for kids and walking distance to Main st. There is also a great public park walking distance. Will stay again. Loved meeting the resident cat! Highlight of our departure.

The property is well maintained. Out issues was that there was an overuse of bleach as a cleaning product in the room and the order was overpowering. As we checked in very late in the evening, we felt there wasn't much we could do about it. I slept the night with a face mask as the fume were hurting my nose and throat. We let the management know if the morning as we checked out and they said that they use bleach to make sure the room is well sanitized. I can appreciate that, however, even hospitals don't use that much bleach. Other than that, it was a nice, older facility that is well maintained.

A nice motel on the Lake. I was in a Lake view room which was definitely worth the extra amount for the view.
Very strong cleaning smell at check in - I needed to leave windows open and fan on to clear the smell.
It was a bit noisy with a large family group with children that took over the back lawn. Children started yelling while playing outside at 8:00 am and adults were drinking outside until 11 pm, even though quiet hours were posted as 10 pm.
Would have been helpful to have a channel guide for the tv in the toom.

Location was great … registering was a bit of a hassle them wanting all kinds of ID, verification… etc. … but all in all this place is probably the better of the few motels available in Lakeport.
I think they’re worried about credit card fraud etc.

Decent hotel stay. The grounds are nice and you can't beat the lake views. The room we had was closest to the street so you can hear all the car noise. The heater clicks on and was hard to sleep well for this light sleeper. My only real complaint is the very strong cleaning supply smell when we walked in. We had to open all the windows and leave them open for at least an hour to make it breathable.

The property looks clean, the staffs are very friendly. Walk distance to main street library park etc. The only thing I don't like is the dock should for guests only, but some people came from other places can also stay and fishing .
