Out dated

Lights did not work, tv did not work, toilet did not flush, people above us were loud and stomping all night, walls and bathroom were dirty. Staff was incredible and friendly but property needs TLC

Clean and convienet. Power went out at home for 24 hours and needed a place for me and my two small dogs. We all were comfortable and safe! Check in was amazing ! The night recep who got off at 11pm on the night of the 27th was amazing and a huge help!

There were cockroaches, it stunk like weed, seemed like bums lived there

Room entrance light didn't work, TV didn't work, coffee maker didn't work, no coffee available at breakfast, no washcloths available and the housekeeper said there were none available. Ice maker on our floor didn't work.

We had called ahead to hotel for us to check in early, and was told we can. Then when we got there we were not able to do so. We had to sit in our car for 1hr after flying in because we were not from Detroit. Oh the room had roaches

Decent enough, especially for where it is. No real issues with the room. Not the most comfortable bed, but the room was spacious. A little loud at times, but I was directly across from the pool, so after that closed, the sound subsided. Honestly, my main complaint was the "free breakfast." If you're going to charge as much as you do, y'all need to have something more than a few bagels. That was almost worthy of laughter.

First time I stayed at this property months ago the king room was clean, up-to-date and very good value for the price of the night. This time around I got a double bedroom and it was horrible. Extremely filthy… marks on the walls… the bed moved everywhere. Toilet seat was broken off there wasn’t even extra pillows when I went down to the front desk to ask for them there were only 2 small flat pillows on each bed.

I didn't like the breakfast. They didn't serve any eggs or bacon or beans for protein. I liked the big rooms except no sound proofs. Outside doors are noisy.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was there was only few options for breakfast. They only had pan cakes, bagel and cereal. No eggs or baked beans for protien. Other than this, the hotel is fairly priced.The rooms are big and clean. No sound proof. You hear people outside the door.

Overall the beds were comfortable and clean. We went to a concert and got back to the room after to find water all over the floor. I believe it was from the AC unit. We called downstairs and a lady brought a couple towels to dry the floor. I told her we were fine staying in the room but wanted them to be aware of the issue. She stated she would tell management. Our bathroom was definitely not fabulous, paint peeling on the ceiling, hair in the tub, cracked sink and toilet paper holder barely attached to the wall. The refrigerator in our room never got coke. The ice maker on the 2nd floor didn’t work. There was barely a continental breakfast. We paid almost $200 for this room and I feel like it was a rip off. Would not recommend and plan to complain to Red Roof corporate

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Rooms were clean but average. Would stay again.

Smelled like feces

Falling down mess of a place. Linens were clean and bathroom was updated that’s the only part that was fine. Pool had no towels, so much chemicals your eyes burn walking in but the water was cloudy and gross. Ceiling falling down above the pool. Laundry area out of service. Carpets disgusting. Staff when checking in was rude and messed up the check in. Entire building reeks of marijuana despite signs everywhere saying that’s not tolerated there.

Some lights needed to have bulbs replaced, the door to the swimming pool did not work but just needed a new battery, the cover on the toilet had a chipped out piece. The breakfast was a disappointment too. We'd expected more of a choice of items available. We did find the staff to be helpful and the bed was comfortable.

It did what needed to be done. The room was clean. No complaints

Never even stayed in the hotel. Rooms were horrible. No light bulbs or mirror in bathroom. Chairs had stains on them and flys all over. Felt very unsafe. Went to different hotel.

This property does not look like the photos. It’s so confusing because there are many very nice features, but there are too many areas needing attention with regard to repair and cleanliness. The staff members we met were all friendly and excellent. Our room was actually double booked and the hotel was otherwise sold out, but the front desk agent was amazing and made sure we still got a room. We were supposed to have two beds, but got a king room with a sofa bed. Our room was somewhat decent; it was relatively clean, the main bed was new and comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. There is a new Napoleon fireplace in the room and it looks like attempts at improvements have been made. But, it did smell like cigarette smoke, tile flooring was chipped, a table had spray paint on it, there were several outlets with no covers and worst of all, when we went to put linens on the pull out couch for our kids we noticed a large brown stain on the thin, springy mattress. The pool area is in need of attention. The pool itself felt nice and did not seem dirty. But there was water all over the floor, along with quite a bit of hair and a cigarette butt, the seating area’s carpet was soaked and stained with mold, and the ceiling looks like it is crumbling. We missed the breakfast cut off time of 9am, so we can’t comment on its quality. We seem to have been mislead by possibly fake reviews and deceiving photos. We are not likely to stay with Red Roof Inn again.

This is by far the absolute worst hotel stay experience I've ever had. I checked in after purchasing two rooms with my family. None of the pictures look like what I was staying in, when I was checking in with my child somebody who I think was staying there long-term came up and interrupted the check-in and was swearing. When the kids and I were in the pool swimming they were being silly and loud, the front staff came in and yelled at us at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon to not be loud and were extremely rude about it. There were no towels in the pool area, I had to ask multiple times and eventually just gave up. When I reached out to hotels.com for help they had asked the hotel to see if they could put us in a different sister location and they absolutely refused and said that they would bring us towels which we never got. To top it all off when we had left and came home after dinner there were multiple police in the hotel parking lot. Seriously, a very trashy and nasty hotel. I cannot emphasize how much I do not recommend anyone stay here.

Terrible. Charged more because they gave my room away. They have people living out of here, disgusting, its so loud, tv didn't work. Overall Terrible service

Nice place to stay...Bring your own toiletries...Front desk gave us the wrong time for Sunday's Breakfast so we missed it..The guests that stayed up above us was very loud,we were in 106...They stomped across the floor almost til 4am.Coffee,tea,hot water was cild...Front desk lady didn’t bother to make fresh and the ice water sat from last night was warm as well and she did not bother to change it...If you work in this type of industry you should know to do temperature checks without being told...Other than that...Everything went well...
