Very loud, smelly, appliances didn’t work. Stayed one night and moved to a different hotel. When we told people where we stayed they laughed and said it’s the talk of the town alright but not in a good way. Facts

We really did want to like this property, but staying at Talk of the Town was a truly a horrible experience. The property itself was run down and eerily empty our entire stay (which we soon discovered why). The beach across the street was alright, but definitely small and not exactly somewhere to spend more than a hour or two. Our original room faced the main street where there was loud noise, blasting music, and cars revving their engines all night long. The last straw was that the next day we discovered MOLD in the room right near our beds, which the front desk receptionist then proceeded to tell us was a common occurrence in many of the rooms because of the humidity. The only thing I can compliment the property on was that they "upgraded" us to another room for the last night after we refused to stay in the original one, but beyond that there was no attempt to remedy our experience at all. Truly a horrible property all around from location to management to service. Would never recommend anyone to stay here when traveling in Aruba.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable

The customer service was great. I didn’t like the experience of asking for late check out by a hour and was told it would be a $50 charge, but was sitting waiting on my taxi to the airport and another guest arrived over a hour before check in time and was allowed to check in without additional fees plus his room was upgraded just because he’s a repeat visitor. I was planning to return here in a few months with my family and friends, but I’ll explore other options.

Convenient location. Rooms need upgrades for the price. Staff not very helpful

This place was great beach right across the street. Front desk so nice and pleasant. Only thing at night with the clubs and bars across the street the music is very loud
