The hotel is beautiful as is the area around it. It is a short walk to the cars

Highlight of our trip. Incredible location, great staff, amazing breakfast, and facilities. Wonderful sea view room with deck overlooking the beach. Lots of places to walk. Hotel staff made up two twin beds as one larger bed, which worked well. The overall atmosphere was impressive and relaxing. Everyone was so friendly. We would certainly stay again. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Balcon de Europa.

It was an amazing experience. It was my boyfriends birthday amd they had champagne in the room to celebrate! Amazing view of the ocean. Clean room. Huge spread for breakfast. Only inconvenience is locating the hotel via car and findind where to park. Not the hotels fault. Just be prepared.

Lovely staff, excellent hotel and facilities

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel, which felt like we were stepping back to the 60’s - in a good way! It was our first time in Nerja and I don’t think there could have been a better position. We opted for a full sea view with a balcony and were on the 9th floor, and it did not disappoint. The view of both the sea and the Balcon spectacular ❤️. The room isn’t the biggest but had everything we needed for a week’s stay. Big wardrobe space, huge comfortable bed, chair and dressing table. Big tv with UK channels 1-5 (this really isn’t a requirement for us but was a great bonus, particularly as the weather wasn’t good and we spent more time in our room than anticipated!). There was also a safe and a fridge which is always handy. The bathroom was fine, a little tired too, but everything was absolutely spotless. Good selection at breakfast and again, that view, wow! We managed to have one day of sun and opted for their private beach area. The hotel provides beach towels which is, again, handy. Very comfortable sunbed and nice to have the bar so close. All the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. Special mention to the man who checked us out very early, he was just lovely. If you want super modern and contemporary, this isn’t the place for you, but if you like a bit of history in a well cared for hotel in an amazing position, then I can highly recommend the Balcón de Europa.

Magnificent location. Hours of pool and beach were a bit limiting. Parking was not very convenient when transporting luggage.

I've been to Nerja numerous times, but the hotel helped make it perhaps my best visit yet! The staff were wonderful. The sea-view room was all I'd hoped for. Fabulous views! Well worth the splurge! Breakfast offered a wide array of tasty options. Would stay again .

This hotel is in the best location and our room had a spectacular view of the ocean from our own private balcony. Easy to get to, great walkable location, delicious breakfast buffet (with gluten free and nondairy items), and wonderful room. Highly recommend!

It is a lovely hotel well positioned in a great town, we really enjoyed our stay. Only one little issue, only allowed one coffee sash per person per day and a small milk in your room, if you want more milk one euro for a little jug. So penny pinching. Otherwise fantastic.

The situation of the hotel on the Balcon is a winner. Great place to stay.

Plus: Great Location, Great view and great breakfast. Minus: Very hard and uncomfortable beds. Much noice from floors above -woke us up at 06.00 in the morning and impossible to sleep.

A stand-out stay. Beautiful hotel with a range of things to do. Incredible location. The food is beautiful. Cannot praise the staff enough for their hard-work, temperment & helpfulness. Just a fantastic hotel to stay in.

The location was perfect. The staff was very professional and helpful.

The hotel is right by the beach and in the most popular street of Nerja. The service is outstanding, I rarely felt so welcome in a hotel. At breakfast, we had a lady pass by to make sure that everything was ok with the room, told her that the shampoo dispenser wasn’t working and it got immediately fixed. We had a Junior suite with a balcony with a magnificent view. At the beach, they have chairs and umbrellas you can use. The water the first days was perfect, but our last two days we had a red flag because of the waves. The swimming pool is beautiful and the water was warmer than the beach, although finding chairs available was harder.

We loved this hotel, yes the rooms may look a little old fashioned but I think it’s just the colours they have chosen. We were in a room without a balcony as all the sea view rooms had been sold & we still loved it & had a fantastic stay. You cannot beat the location, the staff are all so nice, you get the sun all day, there’s a beach which is pretty much only used by hotel guests. We stayed B&B and breakfast and the restaurant were both incredible, the views were amazing. We are already looking to go back.

Great location and wonderful views. Breakfast very good. Room was clean and comfortable, but very small. Some staff very friendly and helpful, some were less customer focused.

The location was stunning. Located right on the Mediterranean the scenery at breakdast was beautiful. You could swim in the sea and in the pool. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.

Beautiful hotel with lovely attentive staff. The breakfast buffet is amazing! The facilities are outstanding and you can’t get a better location. Absolute perfection, highly recommended staying here.

I found this hotel to have high standards, it was very traditional. I liked that there was a dress code in the restaurant. The staff were excellent and made ours stay very comfortable. The room was lovely and the sea view stunning
