I have been coming here on & off for years. Don't let the 2Star rating be your reason to not book here. The rates & rooms are amazing! I booked this time with a travel app. We got 2 bedrooms and an upstairs loft/living room/kitchen. For 2 adults & a teenager it was perfect. We will always come back here.

Not recommended for family ... this property needs renovation and doors, windows, mesh everything was in bad condition ... lock was not opening, mesh was broken, door, bathroom doors were wear & tear. Only this property was near to ocean shores beach other than nothing was good on this property.

This is an older spot but renovated, clean and spacious. Will stay here again.

Old building that needs revamping. Room was adequate (studio) clean but in need of repair. Bath fan scratched when turned on (unusable) , lamp switch by bed inoperable, State of the building exterior is in horrible shape and very unattractive.

The staff was amazing however, the refrigerator in our room was so noisy and the tv did not work plus the only coffee was decaf. The pool area had dirty diapers laying around i know that is from the guests. The beds were super comfy and the onsite washer and dryer was a bonus. The pools were a great temperature.

Was no screen on windows and let a breeze in. No AC, there was a box fan that was dirty and melted. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Could see water damage and mold/mild around door and in bathroom. They are remodel but some rooms should not be used until remodeling is done.

The hotel itself is old. They seemed to be in the process of renovating, but... idk. Our room reeked of orange Lysol when we checked in. By the next morning that had worn off and we were left with a musty room with a stench of dog pee. The carpet was matted and sticky. The couch was sticky and damp. The pool water was warm, but it was green and cloudy. You can't see further than a couple feet down. Our key cards were very finnicky, as the card reader didn't seem to work very well. We took the room because it was the cheapest thing we could find on short notice, but next time I'll try to book a better place in advance.

Absolutely terrible. Awoke to aggressive banging and shouting at 1am. A man was screaming at a nearby front door and it made our walls shake. Throwing his body weight at the door and window. This went on for thirty minutes with no hotel assistance and cops had to come. Man ended up breaking through the front window of the room and continued screaming until he was arrested. Glass shatter. Hotel did nothing. I felt so bad as I knew children were in a nearby room too :( Besides that traumatic experience, the room absolutely reeked of cigarettes (even tho it was non smoking) The stove did not work properly and I burned my hand. The shower did not work and went from ice to boiling water every other minute. Window was broken and didn’t open so we couldn’t get fresh air. Tv was completely black so couldn’t watch tv. When we told front desk they basically said that sucks. Terrible terrible experience and was very happy to check out and first light.

In need of some serious updates. Hotel room smelled of mold. Bedding was dirty. Blinds were broken. Electric cord going out window to constitution. Everything is the kitchen was dirty. Floors felt damp and sticky. Would not recommend or even again.

Really unnecessary stuff like mildew around tub, padded toilet seat super small, very dirty wall vent in bathroom, no AC, no fan, tv with maybe 10 channels, bedframe needlessly old looking. Good location for walking to breakfast, easy parking, nice people at check-in, nice cat.

First desk guy okays parking my tiny motorcycle trailer in the handicap spot with my car. He also okays parking my motorcycle in closed drive through area. Next morning, parts stolen off bike. Then desk calls to make me mover everything because "liability". Next day, bike tires flattened, valve stem caps stolen. Desk says, no coffee in motel. Lobby was so smelly, I couldn't stand it. Got sick from fumes (I am allergic to chemical scents). Desk says it's their electric scented "candle" and, likely the large orange cat that appears to live in the lobby. Huge garbage cart on sidewalk next to room door. Either squeeze past it or go around the entire courtyard to avoid it. That would be almost as fun as trying to avoid the apparently mentally ill woman who lives there, wandering 24/7 asking odd questions. Evidently, the motel pool is open for the locals. I watched vanloads arrive to swim. No phone in room, weird old furniture, bathroom door didn't close.On the plus side, they did give me a price break when my reservation was goobered up by Expedia.

It was nice, quite, place for our dogs to run.

When we first checked in the building was very run down and the lobby was dirty. I thought we would give it a chance and so we got the keys and went to our room. When we opened the door the smell was so disgusting we couldn’t breathe, it smelled like drugs were cooked or used profusely for years. We immediately called the lobby and reported it and I questioned why I signed an agreement that I would smoke in the room or receive a fine. They said they could try to get us another room, but I told them we couldn't stay here with respiratory issues. We turned the keys in and left, then I contacted the customer service line and am currently waiting for a refund. This establishment should be condemned not inhabited.

Staff are friendly but would never stay here again. Suite had an awful stench of cat urine, ants on kitchen counter tops, door locks did not lock, broken. Hotel is old and not kept. Furniture broken and just overall dirty. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m surprised Expedia has hotels like this on their site.

The rooms smelt terrible like cat pee, the floors and bathroom were not clean and the beds were 30 years old with the mattresses having the worst stains I’ve ever seen.

Im used to a little run down as i usually rent cheaper hotels. But this one takes the cake. Everything was either dirty sticky, greasy or literally falling apart. We rented a kitchenette 1 bedroom. None of the windows open in the bedroom, is that even legal? So we had to keep the slider in the living room open the whole time for it to be cool enough to sleep. There is no screen for the slider so then we had flying bugs. I know it is advertised as not having an elevator, but lugging up 4 days of groceries to 3rd floor was not fun. Plus also our luggage. Only 1 of the 2 tvs worked, the bedroom one. So we switched them out ourselves to have a tv in the main area. The bed was clean and comfy tho!

Very old building and items in room looks like from the 60’s. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Looks like they are in the process of updating building. Staff was very friendly.

Place is old and looks like they are trying to improve. I knew by what I paid not to expect much,

I loved staying at the beach with a heated pool,. I appreciated the full kitchen and great comfortable beds

This property would be great if it was updated properly. The room was spacious with a table, sink and mini fridge. The fridge didn’t work. The floor had a big rug that was very dirty. I think it was to cover up something, probably broken tiles, but I didn’t look. My partner and I sunk to the middle of the bed. The beds were terrible. The young lady working the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. There is onsite coin laundry which is very convenient- but we didn’t use.

Our room was was old and smelled like mildew. They are remodeling so hopefully will be better in future. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Good deal for the price we paid. Couple of things could use improvement…Elevator out of service, no coffee cups in the room, only one towel, terrible tap water, no screens on the windows, shower head was falling off the wall. We were rm 215. Clean enough though.

It’s exactly what you pay for. Bed uncomfortable, no bathroom fan, screen or screens on windows. Poorly cleaned, but this can be changed - a basic wipe down of the headboards and door would do this place wonders. Long black hairs in my bath towel. Quiet at night which was great and the pool is heated and outside areas are well maintained. Great for saving money though.

Sorrounding was very nice staff was ok. Furniture ver outdated . Over place felt dirty.

Had a lovely time. Hospitality was great! Super affordable!!! Looks like there are lots of updating going on. I can’t wait to stay here again later this summer.

Over all its a nice place

It was horrible! I got locked out of my room to which my personal belongings were in. And then when they tried to get in the room and help us they couldn’t get in, and come to find out our windows were unlocked. So overall I did not feel safe nor satisfied.

Didn’t actually stay at all other then having taken a shower Wednesday after having checked in. Had to work a lot. Had to check out literally hours after getting off work. Have contacted the property as well as hotels.com and my bank about getting my money back.

Short walk to the beach. Room was very homey with a kitchenette and separate living and bedroom areas. Building is undergoing remodeling and improvements are coming.

A nice place, clean, close to everything, friendly staff

Loved thr cozy little suite rm we got. A little runned down but very pleasent, quaint, and right next to the beach and shopping. Staff were friendly. Only gripe was the towels were crusty but luckily we brought our own. All in all, a great experience and veey affortable. we will be back.
