I like the hotel, especially whiskey bar "Whiskey Library" was exceptional

A friend and I were traveling around Bulgaria and had booked a couple nights at this hotel. There was a wedding taking place at the hotel the first night of our stay. The front desk staff kindly put us in a room on the opposite side of the hotel to assure we weren’t disturbed. The hotel is lovely and the service is excellent. The location of the hotel is in a somewhat sketchy area so when we went to the city center we took a taxi rather than walking the 1/2 hour distance to the town square. Plovdiv is an interesting and very walkable area. The portions of the old town we saw were wonderful! The hotels breakfast buffet is terrific. The food that should be warm actually is! The choices are widely varied.

HOTEL IS NOT LOCATED IN THE CENTER, but taxis are very cheap :-) (2-3€ to go to the center). Very clean hotel. Nice rooms, Professional service.

The best hotel in plovdiv...clean,comfortable..it is not in the center but very close..breakfast also more than enough...

Nice place but quite far from centre

Business trip to Plovdiv. Great spacious room nice ,friendly and helpful staff, beautiful gardens and great breakfast.Very much enjoyed my stay...just take into account that you are 12 min taxi drive from the city centre buy def. The place is worth it!

Fabulous hotel. £1.50 taxi drive into Plovdiv. Old town Plovdiv is beautiful.Cant fault this hotel!!! Lovely staff and beautifully clean. Would definitely go back.

Staff was efficient and friendly. It was quiet and we were very pleased with the hotel.

Room was warm but the window opened. The restaurant was fine. The room well cleaned and the service decent. Nice place to stay

nice location, 15 minutes walk to the city centre, excellent spa as well as breakfast reception staff nice, staff in the restaurant unfriendly, just doing their job, rooms are not really clean, dusty, but comfortably warm

It is a lovely, new, and well maintained hotel with a friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fast wireless internet access. Breakfast was pretty good too. It is a tad far from the city center, but overall a good value for your money.

There was a big party held in the hotel on the day arrived, and there were loud music going on until very late at night. I could hear the music in my room and was difficult to sleep. 2. Their gym is in the basement and not very inviting. 3. Staff in the restaurant is not very helpful. I've asked a lady if she could heat up my take-away food in a microwave, and she flatly said No. Only if I suggested I could pay for it, she decided to help me.

Good stay, clean hotel and a nice whiskey bar upstairs

Perfect from all aspects: large and clean rooms with effectice air conditioning on hottest days, very friendly and helpful staff - was impressed

It was the middle of the afternoon and we were hungry, so we had a late lunch at the hotel, after finding that its prices were similar to those of restaurants we had eaten at before (hotel dining room prices are usually extortionately expensive). The actual lunch was as good as any other we had had. The walk to town was about a mile, rather longer than my wife was willing to put up with, but we found that buses 93 and 66 provided convenient transport to the city centre, the nearest bus stops to the hotel being at the junction of Maria Luiza and Lev Tolstoy. My wife had an excellent massage and facial in the hotel SPA at very reasonable prices.

Everything about this hotel was fine, with one significant exception - the deafening music from the wedding parties which went on til around 2.00 in the morning and made it impossible to sleep.

New hotel, away from the old town, need a car. Three weddings every Saturday and every Sunday. Soundproofing is good though!

My biggest complaint was the fact that on both the Sat and Sun night there was a wedding and on both nights there was a disco until 3 in the morning. I've stayed in many places with nightclubs but these are usually pretty well soundproofed - I've never experienced anything like this. On the Sat night in particular the fixtures in the room were literally vibrating with the noise of the bass from the music. And we were on the 4th floor. The Sunday night was not so loud, but still kept me awake until it finished. Complaints to the front desk were just met with a shrug. Although I asked repeatedly, a manager was never available to listen to my complaint. If it wasn't for the disco, my stay would've been fine, but this was a big issue in my opinion.

Staff wasn't very knowledgeable and the location is not the best...
