Newly renovated, clean and tidy. Bed comfy, shower had lots of water pressure. Easy check in and check out.

Not very impressed with this hotel. No ice, hot tub was not working, remote check-in and no phone in the room to call the front desk to ask questions such as the wifi password. Had to search the internet to find the phone number to reach the front desk! No TV channels, just streaming, and the doors slammed everytime guests came and went so it was very noisy. Sorry to say but we will not be staying at this hotel again in the future.

Obviously just renovated, the room was very good - great linens, eco friendly soaps, etc., excellent bed, etc., the mechanics were lacking. The hallway room doors are noisy when closing. Water pipe noise very loud when other occupants are using water. First floor needs additional sound insulation in ceiling as above occupants' footsteps are loud.

The rooms have been renovated and decorated in a nice and simple way. Having a door code instead of a room key makes it quite convenient.
Just keep in mind that it is near the train tracks so you can hear them going by at times.
I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing stay and would not recommend - left feeling very unrested. Noisy as very close to train track with trains running during night. Recently renovated but basic building old. No receptionist on site so had to check in remotely. Difficulty with getting into room with code provided. Room has microwave, coffee machine and TV plugged into multi socket plug. Fridge as well but not able to use all appliances as caused cut out whilst using microwave and coffee machine. Had to call out maintenance staff who advised us that circuits had not been modernised as part of update so couldn’t cope with appliances provided. We complained about problems and were told that issues were related to “soft opening” by new owners but I don’t understand how the issues with electrics and nearby train track can be improved.

Overall it was a nice hotel, the sink drained slowly but the beds were comfortable. My biggest problem is that in the hotels.com add it said pool but there was no pool nor any access to a pool, the people there let us use the hot tub at their sister hotel a few minutes drive up the road but the whole reason we chose this hotel was to have a pool close by.

Nice stay at this hotel. Railway tracks nearby so hear trains going by. Staff very friendly, but no one at front desk after 6:00 pm. They have self checkin after 6:00 pm.

There were no additional blankets in the room for when it was cold at night and the kitchen was not well set up to cook a meal. The door on our room did not close well, so there was always a draft coming in.

The room was clean, the area around the hotel was quiet. It had adequate parking. Quite enjoyed our stay.

My room was spacious, but that's about it for the good.
My bed was lopsided.
The bedding did not smell fresh.
There was no one at the counter to report issues to after 6pm. I was not at my room before 6pm, I couldn't check out, get a refund, and go somewhere else. I was stuck with the room, felt like it was a cash grab trap.
I do not intend to say it was filthy, or that the sheets were slept on and unwashed. Rather the state of cleanliness was below standard (found an arrow root cookie under the chair, and the sheets smelled like they were washed with just water.
I will definitely not be staying here again, there are far better options in the area.

Hotel is run down, needs a good clean and face lift. People were smoking in rooms, no one working at the property, no hot tub. Our room was dirty and dingy.

Restaurants close by.
In the hub of the river walking tracks.so I did walk everywhere.
A short walk to down town and museums, groceries and commercial shops.
Local shuttle bus stop out front and a short walk for the ski resort.

Couldn’t turn the heating down over night.

I’ll start by saying that the price point was good but everything else was awful. The floors were covered with hair and what appeared to be crumbs. The heat/air conditioners are incredibly loud and the train that passes every two hours kept us awake all night. I could have survived the noise, but in combination with how dirty the room was I will never recommend this place to anyone, even at the affordable price.

No hot water between 4:30/5 to 7pm, after a day of skiing it’s hard to warm up. no restocking of coffee or tea or cups or toilet paper. Hot tub was broken.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days our room was never cleaned, garbages were never emptied no fresh towels garbage out side the hotel, hot tub was not working and stink bugs in the room

Neither the inside or outside hot tub was working and no breakfast is available any longer. The new owners are clearly running the old Days Inn down without putting any more money into it. Used to go there every year - not returning in the future.

It was just ok for the 2 nights that we stayed. One can notice that the property needs upgrading. The room smelled mildewey and the toilet wobbled when sat upon.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Northwinds. I loved the main floor outdoor entrance which made it really easy for us to load our supplies in. The door code was much easier than having keys. Room was very spacious. Next time I am in Revelstoke I will definitely be staying here.

Everything was great, except the hotel is very close to the train tracks which you can hear lots, and you can hear people walk, talk, slam doors etc, the walls are paper thin.

Property charged me $150 for leaving garbage in the room. Sink never worked and hot water went out. They stole my security deposit because there was food left in the fridge. I left an 80 dollar brand new blender for them to keep as well just to be nice and then this is how they treated me.
