The hotel is French inspired, modern and very nice. Our room was clean and had all of the amenities you’d expect for a short stay. We also had a beautiful view of the Marina, water and night life. The area surrounding the hotel, however, was littered with beggars and kids who would run up and cling on to us to feel our pockets, cabs who never used their meters and charged what ever they wanted for the fares-they would insist on Euros but only wanted to give any change back in Moroccan currency, and adults asking for money would struggle taking no for an answer. The on ground element felt sketchy and unsafe.

Conveniently located near the medina. Staff at the reception very welcoming, not so the staff at the restaurant.

I stayed in Marina Bay Hotel for 3 nights. It was very nice. Super clean. Everyone was very nice. The area/neighbourhood is beautiful and very pleasant. I had come from Casablanca and the difference is huge. I felt very safe walking around as a solo female traveller. Lots to do and walking distance to many tourist attractions i.e. the hop on hop off bus. It’s pretty close to the train station. About an 8 min walk. My stay here was great. I would say that my only complaint is that the pool was not in use when I went and the buffet for breakfast is ok but overall, the other amenities, the staff, and the location make up for it. Would stay here again

The property is fine. Cool decor. However. Note that the staff speaks very little English

No complaints. This was a very standard but decent place. Not at all upscale but ok for a night or two. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and decent.

The whole team at Marina Bay were excellent. They greeted us everyday and we’re on hand to answer any questions. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance on the Medina, the beach and Marina.

Location is cool, and the interior is like any modern western hotel standard chains (Hilton, etc.) The restaurant for breakfast (not incl.) is good and worthwhile. But the overall price given locale and other amenities isn't that great of a value or anything.

Front desk is extremely rude and unaccommodating. Door man named Anass was the only person in that entire hotel that was great.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in , and not really expensive. However, their restaurant / room service was overly expensive .

Great location and staff was always friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both very good size and we had a nice view. Our only complaint was that the bed could have been a little more comfortable.

I love the Marine Bay Hotel, I have stayed there 4 times for business and pleasure now. GREAT service by Anas the doorman and staff; cool, funky artwork and rooms; stunning views from the beachside windows; amazing breakfast; great access to the Marina and all the cool hip clubs and restaurants on the pier; easy walking distance to everything in Tangiers; fell like a rockstar every time I stay there!

Right on Marina Bay, great views, excellent facilities

This hotel is great, really amazing staff. They were friendly, helpful and extremely tolerant of our toddler’s exuberance. They always helped us with Taxis and explanation. It’s truly lovely and great value for money. We got a room upgrade to a room with the Marina view, the view of the marina is everything. I can boldly say it’s the hotel that gives you that very amazing view for just a fraction of what it should cost you.

I like everything in this beautiful holiday , the fantastic sea view, clean rooms and service. Furthermore, this hotel has a history. It had accomodated many famous celebrities . Also the breakfast was varied and tasty.

Wi/fi not good, NO water for drink in room

This hotel was not open... it was under total renovation. Why are they taking reservations??

The hotel is very outdated and in poor condition. Pictures must be from when it was first built; very deceiving. No staff speaks English, sinks kept getting clogged up. Very dirty and unkept. Would not recommend to anyone.

Nice hotel from the outside, close to the beach. Room was spacious, did not correspond to one of the picture by which I choose this hotel. At arrival, we had to wait over two hours to have the room ready and when finally we got the key, no towels, no soaps and the toilet did not flush. After another hour, two little towels were brought to the room but we still had to wait for soap or anything to use to wash with. The room was cleaned every day, which was good but I cant forget the toilet that did not flush and the size of the towels. Also, my own face cloth was taken on the second day. Breakfast, extremely expensive, was OK if we came down by 9:30, after, there was not much healthy foods left.Swimming pool looks good on the picture only. Hotel was well situated, not far from the beach but we had to walk around 1 mile to find a crosswalk.

This hotel has air conditioning that does not work open the windows but I got the trouble of the insects coming from outside

Of all the places we have been and of all the hotels we have stayed (and they’re quite a few), we’ve never experienced such an unprofessional welcoming before. The almost narcoleptic girl at the reception initially couldn’t find our reservation by searching in some printed papers and she kept asking if we had already settled up our payment. It was as she didn’t even know what kind of services hotels.com provides. After finally managing to get into our room, we found a completely empty mini-bar and a lousy bathroom full of silicone stitches. To make matters worse, as soon as I laid in bed, a small cockroach passed right behind my ear. These things are unacceptable for a so-called 4 stars hotel in such a touristic place and we really think that hotels.com should take the matter of the hotels they suggest in their listings into a more serious consideration.

Centrally located right on the strip. Beach is across the street and within walking distance to the medina and kasbah.The rooms need a little upgrading but overall clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable.

Now that we have found the Atlas Rif we wont stay anywhere else in Tangier. The hotel is beautiful, incorporating traditional Moroccan architecture and decoration, along with a few modern touches. We appreciated the intricate carved ceilings, the lovely and colorful tiles, the berber carpets, the antique carved chests and tables...and the view of the beach and off to the side, the old city of Tangier built high on a hill. Our room was modern but there were nice traditional touches like a beautiful carved armoire. The beds were very comfortable, the room and bathroom spotless. We enjoyed the pool which is an oasis of tranquility with water cascade and a small tropical garden. Theres a bar there where you can get cocktails, beer, snacks, etc. Breakfast was an ample buffet that included both Moroccan and European choices - really there was a huge assortment of food and it is served in a beautifully decorated room with a view of the ocean. We cant recommend this hotel highly enough and we will stay there next time we visit Tangier.

Fantastic location, clean room and very good service. The only issue is the weak wifi in the rooms but better enjoy the vue and the city than surf the web.

Generally:The hotel is slightly worn down but still makes an effort. It is not however, worth the price they charge for it. Pro’s:Polite staff, they always open the door for you when you enter the building, Pretty good view on one side of the building.Con’s:I had to reset the access card three times in 5 days.So many tour groups use this hotel, so every morning I was here there was Spanish folks smoking in the main entryway.The wifi only works on the top 2 floors, or right by the lift’s.I was in room 334 and on that side of the building we were kept up in the evenings by the bar across the street.

Check in was a little off. they gave me a room key for someone else so I let them know I wasnt apart of a group that checked in. Once this was rectified everything was well.
