Great staff. Clean. Room was charming.

My husband and I stayed at the mansion for 3 nights and loved it! We’re not frequent B&Bers but sometimes it’s nice to avoid big corporate hotels for a change. The location was great , about a 3-5 min walk to the main strip, just far enough to be peaceful and quiet. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and well cared for. The room was spotless, charming and expansive. Breakfast was delicious. Check in was seamless with Doug. The only reason I had to knock a star off is this: On night one, we were fully asleep and woke to a plastic bag ruffling sound… we thought nothing of it and tried to fall back asleep. A few minutes later the sound came back and seemed to be inside the room so we turned the lights on to find a mouse flitting under the door after rummaging in the garbage can. Well I’ll tell you I can’t sleep knowing a mouse is about. So we got rid of the garbage and stuffed a towel under the door to discourage him from coming back and never saw him again. I understand this is a normal thing for old houses and that’s exactly what we were told when we reported it to someone. So… I think I’m done with the B&B life for now despite loving every other experience there.

A very nice stay in a very historical and different spot.

Mansion is beautiful and comfortable and clean. The staff goes above and beyond for everything and anything you need. The location is perfect.

Amazing property

The mansion was absolutely beautifully kept. Martha was extremely attentive to us as guests of the mansion. Our room was well maintained and very clean. I loved all the attention to detail that is put into keeping the mansion clean and hospitable. You will not find a dusty surface or smudged mirror in the whole place. I saw how housekeeping cleaned and it was very commendable. They cleaned like they cared. Breakfast was very special and we felt well taken care of. I would highly recommend the experience. Martha was great with making sure we were happy with our stay.

This place is an experience! It brings you back in time and having a pool table in our room was really fun!

As an old mansion it was such a unique place to stay. Walkable to downtown, parks and shopping.

This home could be a museum. It been restored and kept up beautifully. Breakfast was included and was fantastic, as was all of the staff that we interacted with. I have a feeli bf we will be back, and we only live an hour away. 3-4 blocks walking got us to tons of restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Batcheller Mansion. Everything was wonderful.

Unique and comfortable old property.

Found this online and just decided to book it for a night. It was a gem! The place is gorgeous, Martha who runs the house was friendly and a great cook! Price was very fair considering it's Saratoga Springs and it is within easy walking distance of downtown. I would return in a minute and will advise family members and friends to do the same.

Beautiful public rooms and historic house. Friendly staff. Good breakfast in beautiful dining room. Bedroom was spacious and quiet. Bed was too soft. Nice location for walking through park to downtown shops and restaurants.

What a lovely time for a two day stay. The property was under construction so I feel like once this stage is completed it will be a true gem to stay at. The breakfast was served on the smaller portion. But adequate. Evening tea was provided along with snacks. The staff was super friendly. If possible we would love to stay here again.

Inside the mansion was excellent and well laid out. Everyone was friendly and food was very good.

I brought my daughter with me who is 7 and when I arrive, I found out there are no children allowed. They are very kind and very accommodating, especially when they knew we were from a different state.

Property was very unique. Lovely architecture and history. It’s very close to shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately staff wasn’t very friendly. We called multiple times to ask about check in w no answer. Breakfast was only served limited times (8:30 the earliest) and there was no coffee or tea available earlier than breakfast and no options in the room. We had to ask for more towels w a multiple night stay. The room only had a window air conditioner and fan. Considering the cost we definitely expected more.

Amazing architecture

The house was absolutely beautiful with such fine detail inside and outside. Great location with easy access to dining, race track, shopping and parks.

Batcheller Inn is absolutely fantastic. The house itself is beautiful, Doug was very helpful and breakfast was amazing. We'll be back:)

Absolutely one of the best stays while traveling I’ve had in quite some time. The mansion is absolutely stunning, very clean, a cozy spot to stay. Doug the caretaker is a absolute treasure and made the stay so special. He was kind, was helpful answering questions for me as I was traveling alone, made great recommendations, and was just such a pleasure to chat with. I plan on definitely returning with my husband for a weekend away to explore Saratoga and won’t even think of staying anywhere else other then here again!

Elegant historical venue with modern amenities and great breakfast

We were disappointed that the whirlpool tub in our room was not usable, materials came out of the tub jets. The breakfast was disappointing - just eggs on a plate with no toast or potatoes offered. Fruit was tiny portion and a store bought container of yogurt.
